I waited so long for this book i absolutely devoured filthy rich vampire series and the first filthy rich fea book to so my hopes were set very high for fallen court. Cate was spending her time trying to figure out the ring and why she couldn't remove it while Lachlan was still on the run let me just say when they finally met back up the grovelling was top tier

I just got this preview from the Net Galley team thanks.

The only thing I'm going to say is I can't rate this too high as it was only a short preview book but I do want to read it!

(Review is also on my Goodreads!)

I didn’t expect to get this invested from just 19 pages… but here we are.

The world, the tension, the setup – everything pulled me in immediately. Cate’s voice felt real and sharp, and the moment Lachlan Gage entered the scene, I got chills. I already sense that this story is going to be full of danger, tension, and all the messy, forbidden things I love in fantasy romance.

I love the fae vibes, the New Orleans setting, and the fact that there’s a literal countdown on her soul – like, how am I not supposed to want more?

This teaser completely did its job. Now I need the full book in my hands asap 🖤

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Entangled for letting me read this early glimpse – I’m definitely intrigued.

📌 (Based on a limited preview copy – not the full book)

What a fast-paced opening! I can’t wait to read the rest! It is hard to find fantasy in a modern setting, so this series is right up my alley. The setting felt straight out of a high-stakes crime movie, but with all my favorite creatures.

Preview perfection! Opening with Lacy’s POV where we left off from book 1, this is going to be a fantastic journey through “Fallen Court”!

This was a fantastic preview into the second book in the Filthy Rich Fae series. There was so much action in the short amount that I read. It definitely peaked my interest and left me feeling excited to dive back into this world!

This book was a GOOD TIME. It was very fast paced, immersive, and I was hooked! The tension was great, and I will be reading all of the books by this author. I wouldn’t give it 5 stars because it feels like it was missing something, but I can’t quite put my finger on what.

I was interested in reading this preview because I'm never had the chance to read a chapter to see if I got hooked. I found that the first chapter was pretty interesting. They did introduce a lot of characters at once and I do think it was a lot and maybe I missed something. But I did feel a pull towards want to know more. I do want to know what the outcome will be of everything that was laid out during those first 19 pages.. So it did capture my interest but it was slightly overwhelming to read. I kind of wished I got more than 19 pages but I understand that it's still in the process.

And you can't go wrong with vampires and fae.

Lovely little preview into the next sizzling addition to the series! I was admittedly stupid in thinking this was a full ARC copy of the whole book, but it’s not, it’s just the first chapter. However I’m very luckily to have been able to read that first chapter and dive back into Geneva Lees’ world.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for providing this ARC copy.

I was incredibly excited to receive this preview, and now I’m absolutely hooked! Filthy Rich Fae pulled me in from the very first page, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the full book. The story promises intrigue, drama, and a world I’m eager to dive deeper into. Highly anticipating the release!

The short preview is well done. It ends on a relegation which makes you want to keep reading. Well written and edited. It’s a short preview, but what I read was good and will read the full book.

I have been wanting to read Filthy Rich Fae so I was very excited to be able to read this preview. Thank you NetGalley! We are given just enough in this preview to keep wanting more and continue on with the full book. There is a clear sense of magic in this world. The magic is mixed and hidden within the human world which I love. Vampires and Fae and obviously a divide between some and the mmc-Lachlan. Lachlan is looking for Cate who we still don’t know much about. I love that we get a little bit of humor when Lachlan meets up with Durant. I think that witty banter is important, still, in fantastical stories. The flow of this excerpt is very easy to follow which I appreciate. I will definitely be continuing this story and can’t wait to give a full review of it.

This first chapter is gripping, and it immediately throws you back into the dark, mysterious, romantic world built in Book 1. It puts you back into the middle of the action and sets the tone for the entire second book.

Having already devoured the full version of this book in about a day, I really feel that it delivers on every element and that this chapter is reflective of the intrigue readers can expect throughout the entire book.

Just a quick preview, but it definitely caught my interest. The writing is easy to get into and the world already feels dark and a little chaotic in a way I like. We’ve got a broody Fae prince, some mysterious choices, and what looks like underworld politics brewing.

Hard to say too much from just one chapter, but I’m definitely curious to see where it goes. :-)

*this is a review for the whole book, but this arc is just the first chapter - which, btw, is so good! picks up right where we left off and throws you right back into the tension*

Overall I loved this book. Still obsessed with Lachlan and Cate. I know he’s a little *HLOTNC* 🌃 inspired but I don’t care, ok? The beginning starts off strong, right where Book 1 leaves off, but the second half gets a little (a lot) chaotic. The pacing was pretty fast but truthfully a lot of the plot and side characters could have been served with another 150 pages. But it was a fun time and I enjoyed myself ok? 100% will read book 3

This was my introduction to Geneva Lee’s writing and I have to say: I really enjoyed that. I like the way Lee immediately jumps into the story and its full tilt until the very last sentence. I appreciate the style in which this was written… it felt accessible and conversational and above all extremely easy to digest. I liked the world, the characters, and the powers that I got a glimpse of here.

This bite-sized sample absolutely left me wanting more and I will happily go back and properly dive into this series and look forward to reading Fallen Court in its entirety.

Thank you to Geneva Lee, Entangled Publishing, and NetGalley for the first chapter preview of Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court!

Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court picks up right where Book 1 left off — on a heart-pounding cliffhanger. Lach is now on the run from the Wild Hunt, while Cate has been taken by Oberon. She knows her mysterious ring holds great significance, but with no way to remove it, uncovering its secrets proves impossible. Told through dual POVs, the story follows both Lach and Cate as they navigate dangerous obstacles, desperate to reunite, all while tensions rise and war brews between the Fae Courts.

One of the things I loved most about this installment is the personal growth. Lach is genuinely working to become a better partner for Cate, and Cate herself is stepping into her strength and evolving into a fierce, capable heroine. On the flip side, Cate’s brother Channing continues to be frustrating — he really needs a wake-up call and to understand that his choices have real consequences.

Like the first book, Fallen Court ends on another major cliffhanger — and I’m already counting down the days until the next installment. So many plot threads are still in motion, and I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds!
