The first chapter is already packed with action and a strong sense of urgency—it drops you right back into the chaos. It’s definitely been a minute since I read the last book, so I’ll need a quick refresher on where things left off. Honestly, I may need to re-read Filthy Rich Fae before diving all the way into this one, just to fully appreciate the drama that's clearly about to unfold. But I do remember loving Geneva Lee’s writing, and this opener totally confirms that I’m in for another wild, addictive ride.

Wow! Even though this was just one chapter, I'm already hooked! Geneva Lee has a way with words. I can already tell I'm going to love Lachlan Gage. In just a few pages there was so much action and we got a brief introduction into what I assume will be incredible world-building. I need to know more about Cate and the Wild Hunt! I definitely will be added Filthy Rich Fae to my tbr!
*Thank you to Netgalley, Entangled Publishing, and the author, Geneva Lee, for this brief look in to Filthy Rich Fae! Opinions expressed are solely my own.

Lachlan Gage, I am on my knees for you! Lachlan comes from a notorious fae crime family whom Cate (the fmc) makes a bargain with to switch herself for her brother. Lachlan is dangerously hot and just as dangerous physically. If you love the touch her and die trope, you are going to love this one. Lachlan does not play around when it comes to Cate. I am a sucker for a fantasy book that has great banter and Cate and Lachlan had me laughing so hard. They had great chemistry, and the tension between them was everything!
I enjoyed the slow burn happening in this one. I always love the tension that builds between the two main characters, where you know they want to kiss but don't, and then it just makes you scream at your book TO KISS. I thought the whole idea was a bit familiar, but it was still so refreshing in its own way. I will always devour a Touch her and die trope any day. If you like a fantasy slow burn book about royal fae, a headstrong heroine, a drool-worthy MMC, a dangerous new world and lots of good banter, you should give this one a try.
Read if you like:
-Slow Burn
- Found Family
-Fae Royalty
-Enemies-to-Lovers/ Hate to love
-Mafia vibes
-Morally Gray MMC
- Touch her & die
-It is single-person POV, but you do see his POV at the end :)
*This does end on a cliiffhanger just an FYI*

From reading the preview, this book looks so interesting! It reminds me of Sarah J. Maas and Crescent City…would totally read this series!

Thank you to Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for a copy of this preview, first chapter in exchange for an honest review.
I was only able to read the first chapter, but wow did it pull me in! This is definitely the next book I have to read! For a first chapter it did everything I needed - it was funny, witty, dangerous, high stakes and gave me just enough of a glimpse of the world that I'm tempted to read more. It already reads nuanced, complex, and morally grey! We got one chapter from Lach's point of view, and I'm so curious what other character POVs are present in this novel. Definitely sounds like a collection of fantasy creatures & their dynamics: fae, vampires and shifters so far!
I will definitely need to get my hands on the full book and read that, but overall, first chapter was a 5 star read for me!

I’m definitely intrigued by the first chapter and will be reading more once it pubs!! Only rating the first chapter it has a strong start.
Thanks for the sample chapter to try out entangled!

Great start. The only bad part if this is that it is over. Now is need the whole book please. I will definitely be picking this up very soon.

This was only the first chapter of this book, so a bit more challenging to give full thoughts. I was intrigued by the premise and the characters, and curious to know about Cate. The initial setting of this book is in NYC (don’t know if it remains there for the entirety), and it took me out of for much of how it was described to be getting around in the city because it felt out of place and very much not how people would describe things.

This is one of my most anticipated sequels of 2025, and this did NOT disappoint. While only a preview, I am not off to immediately buy the full title to read! I love this series of Fae in New Orleans - reminds me of The Originals, but with Fae and alternate worlds. Love the sizzling romance, dash of adventure, and of course, the darkness of New Orleans, Louisiana! Highly recommend!

This was a great start to the sequel to this book I will be finishing on a long flight I have coming up. I love the story in this series and from what I have read this far from the preview it has kept me intrigued and invested to continue the series.
I love a morally grey MMC who redeems himself and Lachlan definitely fits in that category from book one. I love the blend in this series of Fantasy and mafia and the concept of it was fantastic. I look forward to the rest of this book and the continued series that follows.

Can't wait to read more! Love this authors writing I'm sad this is JUST a preview! Need the book yesterday!

This was just a preview. I just Geneva Lee’s writing in other books before aswell so had to get this preview! Can’t wait to read the actual book!

This story seems very promising! Thank you to the publisher for the preview. I have the first book in this series and am even more excited to begin it now after reading this snippet and look forward to enjoying them all. The story began with action and I’m thrilled to know what will happen next!

What I read was interesting, but not enough to base a review on. The premise of a dark Fae prince searching for a woman in a world where he is being hunted for some kind of unforgivable choice and pairing with underworld crime vampires is interesting and I'd like to learn more about the story and world in which it takes place. Had the full book been offered I would definitely continue reading, but what was offered wasn't enough to make me want to buy it.

This could be something REALLY good!!
The setting, the action and tension from just the first chapter is promesing!
Can't wait to read this book :)

This book kept me wanting to read after every page. I finished it in one sitting that’s how good it was. Lach and Cate’s love story has so much depth to it and we find out why in this book. I’m really hoping there are more to this series. I love how the minor characters stand out and add to the story so perfectly.

Vampires and Fae, sometimes allies, sometimes not. A short and promising preview, a definite tease! Looks like a lot of action and intrigue to come!

From the very first page, Filthy Rich Fae promises a decadent dive into a world of danger, desire, and deliciously dark fae magic. Geneva Lee delivers a tantalizing taste of a story brimming with sharp tension, rich world-building, and the kind of morally gray characters that make your heart race and your judgment questionable—in the best way.
The writing is bold and immersive, with a heroine who immediately commands attention and a fae realm that simmers with secrets and intrigue. Even in this brief excerpt, the chemistry crackles and the stakes feel high. There’s a clear sense that power plays and forbidden desires are just beginning to unfold—and I’m absolutely hooked.
If the full novel continues with this pace, heat, and intensity, Filthy Rich Fae is bound to be a must-read for fantasy romance lovers who crave spice, danger, and fae politics with bite. I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest.

Title: Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court
Author: Geneva Lee
Let’s take a walk on the dark side my fellow readers. Have you read the book Filthy Ritchie Fae: Fallen Court already? This book is too good to pass up reading. Ughhh, it gives me chills. I mean in the good way chills.
The male main character, Lach is animal magnetism personified. He has this dark and sexual appeal that captivates my imagination. How can a Fae do this to me? The story opens from Lachs point of view. So through his dialogue you can imagine his rough exterior as a Fae who skirts on the edge of danger in the dark worlds where monsters lurk. Lach fears no one, but everyone fears him and if you don’t— then make peace with your soul. That’s if you have one. From the narration you certainly can tell that Lach is an man on a mission. Labeled as a marked man he’s determined to rescue his mate. The writer did an extraordinary job of describing Lach from the important details of his character.
I for one love it when the writer is able to connect the story to my imagination. And then on from that point I am able to escape into the book. As you continue to read the first chapter you have a better understanding of Lach. What he’s fighting for. His objective plan and the person that possesses his internal essence.
I understand the plot and how the twist interacts with the main characters objectives. This I believe keeps the book riveting and extremely exciting. The action scenes you will like too. I found them to be intense and heart pounding. The narrative descriptions also provide the readers with some important details that’s important to the story as a whole.
This is an addictive read that you will instantly enjoy reading. I give this first chapter of the story two snaps and a twist. Until next time my fellow readers. Read on!

Honestly, I picked up a Preview of this as Read Now on NetGalley thinking (for whatever reason) it was Book 1... forgive me. HOWEVER, this was a perfect little introduction to this world and the author's writing, and I'm now so intrigued that I going to have to move the first book up on my TBR.
This is just the first chapter of the second book of Filthy Rich Fae series, and it definitely starts off with a bang. Even though I had no prior knowledge of the world, the start of Fallen Court was easy to follow and I was able to pick up on some plot points that occurred in Book 1 easily. And I really liked the writing style! I'll definitely be checking out this series and more from the author.
Thank you NetGalley, Geneva Lee, and Entangled publishing for this preview eARC!
