The way I just couldn’t put this down!! I had SUCH a fun time reading this.
Is it wildly original? Not really but honestly, what even is these days?
What does matter is that this was an addictive, fast-paced, trope-filled full course meal that I ate up like nobody’s business
Hot fae? Check. Forced proximity? Check. Tension, spice, drama? All served piping hot.
Filthy. Rich. Fae.
That’s it. That’s the vibe.
10/10 would risk it all for Lachlan Gage

This was a preview and ooohhhhh I need the rest of the book! First chapter definitely drew me in, and I want to read more about the fae-vampire relationships and see if he'll find Cate again. Yup, I need this in my life!

I already had the audio for this book and was so excited to see it offered as an ARC since I like to read and listen to the same book at once. This was such a good intro to the book to get readers hooked and I cannot wait to continue listening to it!

The hunt is on with Lach now on the run after he ended MacAlister to save Cate, he is now branded a dead man walking for all the Hunters to seek while left wondering if Cate is safe.
I adore this series and while I only got to read a small taste with this first chapter of Fallen Court I absolutely cannot wait to dive in and get lost amongst the pages in the world of the Filthy Rich Fae again 😍
Geneva Lee is an incredibly gifted author.

Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court is a wildly entertaining mix of glam, danger, and fae-fueled drama. Geneva Lee delivers a story full of intrigue, steamy tension, and court politics with just the right amount of bite. The world is decadent and mysterious, and the characters are bold, flawed, and fun to follow. It took a bit to settle into the plot, but once it clicked, I was hooked. A deliciously addictive fantasy escape!

I totally missed that this version was only the preview of the book, but I really enjoyed this first chapter! The world building definitely had me hooked already. I think the best way to review this is to say that I already downloaded the full version to my kindle! Can't wait to read the rest.

I didn't realize this one was only a Preview and was sad that I couldn't immediately dive right into the full story. Definitely will be picking up the novel!

So... I didn’t realize this was book 2 going in (oops), but once I caught up, it was actually pretty good. It’s a modern fantasy world with fae, witches, vampires, and magical turf wars which I’m always here for.
That said, the plot felt kind of... scattered? Things happened (murders, magic rings, general chaos), but they didn’t always feel connected until the very end. It was giving “episodic TV energy” more than cohesive story arc.
The last 10% finally tied the threads together, and then BAM! That ending! Oh, and the brother? That was a gut punch.
Overall, it was fine. Maybe even good. I think I’d have liked it more if I’d started with book one. Which is my problem, not the book's!
I listened on audio and quite enjoyed the narration as well!

I think I will enjoy this book just as much as I enjoyed Filthy Rich Vampire, based on the first chapter alone. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book!

It was such an honor to be able to read the first chapter of Genevas new book and I'm thankful for the opportunity. It was intriguing and left me wanting to know more.

This was an ANTICIPATED read and I couldn’t wait to get stuck in the moment I had a free day, yes day because once you pick this up you won’t want to put it down!
The banter, the tension, the mmc! Read it trust me!
The only thing I disliked about this book was the cliffhanger but that’s more so because now I have to wait for the next!

A pretty good start of the book even though it was just the first chapter. Left me wanting to read the rest

I’m excited to read the rest of the book! Her books are always interesting and keep me turning the pages.

A little hard to rate based on just the first chapter preview, but this was definitely an action packed start! The author does a good job setting the scenes with vivid descriptions that put you into its dark urban fantasy setting. I thought the fight scene was well written and engaging. As someone who didn't realize this was the second in a series, I was a little confused by all the names being tossed around in the character's inner monologue, but for those who have read the first in the series I'm sure they serve as good reminders of where the first book left off and where all the characters stand with each other.

Like many others, I did not realize this was only a chapter. But, I did enjoy what i read! Can't wait to dive into the book!

I could only access the first chapter of this book via NetGalley, but I was glad to get a preview while waiting for a copy! I really enjoyed the first book in this series and have been looking forward to the sequel after the big cliffhanger! Just going off of the one chapter I could access I am already excited for the rest of this book and to see where the story goes.

No words can express how this book is about magic and the bits of plot on the court of fae is really interesting. The world building keeps being better. As expected of a book written by Geneva Lee! And the dynamic between Lachlan and Cate are chef's kiss😭 wishing for another book I was left in a quiet cliffhanger.

I really enjoyed continuation of the story. I enjoyed the relationship and spice. It dragged on a bit at times but overall it was good dark fantasy romance.

This is a bit hard to review as it was just a preview of the first chapter.
A lot happened within this chapter and I would need to read more to actually give it a proper rating.

This book is a perfect blend of intrigue, magic, and romance, making it an easy, quick read that’s hard to put down.Lee’s storytelling shines, capturing the essence of the supernatural with just the right dash of drama and suspense. I enjoyed book 1 but I enjoyed this one even more. I can't wait for the next installment. Thank you Entangled and netgalley for the ARC go this book!!!
