Okay. So let’s talk about Fallen Court. Or rather, let’s scream into the fae void together, because GENEVA LEE WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO US?!?
The first book? It lured me in like a siren with a trust fund and a dark secret. I was emotionally entangled, fully invested, and thinking, “Alright, this is deliciously dramatic and magical.” But THIS ONE? Fallen Court didn’t just tug at my emotions—it full-on yanked them through a portal and left me clutching my chest like a Victorian widow.
We’ve got angst. We’ve got betrayal. We’ve got fae politics with more twists than a dragon shifter’s braid. And the CLIFFHANGERS. Geneva must have a secret deal with bartenders everywhere, because the way she ends this book? I was ready to pour a drink and toast to my sanity while sobbing into my book sleeve.
These characters are messy, magnetic, and maddening in the best way. I love them. I hate them. I want to protect them while simultaneously throwing them into a therapy circle. Every chapter adds fuel to the slow-burning fire, and by the end, you’re left singed and begging for more.
If Fallen Court were a cocktail, it’d be something wicked strong with a glittery rim and a splash of poison—absolutely irresistible and guaranteed to mess you up (emotionally, of course).

Well that was definitely a teaser!
Cate & Lach
Having read the first book and ready to dive into the next book I didn't realize it was only a teaser and not the entire book. Now patiently waiting the arrival of my order of this book.
Its hard to rate a book off what appears to be one chapter.

Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court by Geneva Lee is a seductive and fast-paced fantasy filled with intrigue, forbidden romance, and plenty of drama. The world-building is lush, and the tension between the characters keeps the pages turning. While some plot points felt a bit rushed or predictable, the sizzling chemistry and twisty court politics made it a thoroughly enjoyable read. A great pick for fans of dark fae romance with a high-stakes edge.

This book jumps right into the action, and not in a good way. There simply isn't enough world building and the sample of the book isn't long enough to prove me wrong. The intro feels jumbled and sharp. It just isn't what I was expecting from the beginning of the sequel.

I’m in my Filthy Rich era right now, I absolutely adore these books.
They aren’t complicated, they don’t have a huge amount of World building or plot to get your head around. All of the characters are just so fun and loveable. Cate and Lach are gorgeous together, along with all of their friends and family. As the storyline unfolds it just gets more and more delicious and making me kick my feet with happiness by the ending.

Ok. I was not prepared for how obsessed I’d be with this book. Filthy Rich Fae came out swinging with rich fae politics, spicy slow burn tension, and a main character who is just the right amount of feral and emotionally unavailable. I inhaled this in one sitting and immediately started googling when the sequel drops.
The vibes? Immaculate. Think mafia fae energy set in a dark, glittering version of New Orleans. The heroine is a human nurse who stumbles into the fae world by accident and ends up tied (literally and magically) to Lachlan Gage, a fae prince with a god complex and control issues. Do I love him? Yes. Do I trust him? Absolutely not. Do I care? Also no.
The banter, the obsession, the tension!!!! it’s giving everything it needs to give. And the worldbuilding is genuinely great. I liked that it felt familiar but dangerous, without being a clone of every other fae book out there. The court drama and family secrets kept me flipping pages like a lunatic.

Beautifully written. I am absolutely obsessed with these characters and I will be anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!!

Well, I didn’t realize this was just the first chapter! I enjoyed it and will pick up this series! I need to do better at reading descriptions.

There was SO much happening here! Like John Wick with fae and vampires. It gave action movie vibes, and even had a magical "shoot out". There were some crucial background pieces missing from my excerpt to tie the story together, but I'm definitely interested in reading the rest!
The "opening" scene with Lach stepping out into NYC had such vivid imagery, that I could almost smell the city myself. I loved the idea that there was a magical city down an alley in Greenwich Village. Any adult HP fan's dream, right?
My only extremely minor hangup - as an American reader, "nipping" sounded a bit odd in my head as a magical action. I completely understood the intention and had no issues, other than it being the first time I've heard it used in that connotation.
Thank you to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for an e-arc preview of this book.

I need more!! This was the perfect teaser for what I’m sure is an epic romantasy. Please excuse me while I dive straight into the story because now that I’ve had a taste I must have more.

The writing is professional. The author’s words flow, revealing lots of world building and information flawlessly, without sounding like an info dump. However, with the ARC sample being so short, there was no hint of romance. Who is Cate? Lach mentions she was kidnapped, but there are no emotions associated with this information. Also, no info was given in the ARC description that this is book 2? While the writing was good, the sample left me feeling rather confused and unmotivated to purchase. I only plan to leave feedback on NetGalley as I haven’t read the full novel.

I loved book 1 and this preview has me even more excited to see how the story plays out! I’m so ready for more of Gage

There are only a handful of authors who I can get sucked into their books within the first page of reading them, Geneva Lee is definitely one of those authors. This "sample" read had definitely left me immediately wanting more with this unforgettable series, and I can't wait to download the full length book. Love Gage and Durant, can't wait to dive into more of this already captivating story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

What s great preview! I absolutely loved book 1 and this book 2 preview is starting off strong. I can't wait to follow Gage on his pursuit of his mate, Cait, and see what else unfolds. This first chapter alone has me excited to dive deeper into the book.

Filthy Rich Fae is fun, dramatic, and totally addictive—think fae fantasy with a dash of Peaky Blinders vibes. The plot moves a bit slowly at times, but it’s full of intrigue, banter, and setup for what promises to be a juicy series.
The heroine, Cate, isn’t exactly a mastermind (honestly, some of her choices had me groaning), but she’s still oddly likable. When her foster brother Channing gets tangled up with fae crime boss Lachlan Gage, Cate dives in to save him—only to end up in a soul-bargaining mess of her own. Despite her questionable decision-making, the enemies-to-lovers tension between Cate and Lachlan kept me invested.
The writing is engaging, the world-building solid, and while not packed with action, it teases enough secrets and fae politics to hook you in. Be warned though—there’s a major cliffhanger. I didn’t expect to be this eager for book two, but here we are.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC | Entangled: Amara for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I did not know this was a sequel book before I picked up this early preview. I felt like I was dropped in the middle of a story with an already established lore and setting, so that explains why.
The world seemed intriguing, with the inclusion of vampires and other supernatural creatures, I wish there was a bit more of the story to go off of because I finished it feeling a bit confused about what I had just read.

I wish a little bit more reading material was provided in the preview. One chapter barely helped me connect with the characters. It left me with many questions but not enough connection to want to follow through with finding out more.
I might pick up the book in store when I get a chance, to give it a fair chance and then will review it properly on social media.
giving 4 stars for great writing style and details.

Thought this was the full book. But absolutely can't wait to sink my teeth in to the rest of it! I loved book 1 so much and am so so excited for book 2.

Filthy Rich Fae by Geneva Lee is an amazing start of a new enthralling series.
I loved reading every page of this book - there literally was not one boring chapter. The world the author has created is unique and the story is so intriguing it was almost impossible to put down.
Thank You NetGalley and Entangled: Amara for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

Read another series from the author, excited to continue this one as well. Looking forward to reading the whole book.
