This was an intriguing, thought-provoking book about race and especially “lynch culture”. I’m from an area with little racial variation, so this book was very informative to me. It was well-written and well-organized. Each chapter gives you a new aspect of racial issues to consider. The author did her research on the topics and it was evident in her writing. I couldn’t put this book down and I highly recommend this book. This is something that would be beneficial to be read for a course based on racism or social studies.
Thank you, NetGalley and University Press of Kentucky for allowing me to read this book. I am writing this review based on my own opinion.
