This was a cute book but fell short for me unfortunately. I've heard and seen so many good cat puns, but the ones in this book were just "meh." I giggled at some, and completely missed the others or did not find them all that "jokey." The illustrations are very cute though.

This was such a cute and quick read. I was chuckling throughout and can’t wait for this to be published so I can get this for my best friend for the holidays. The art was cute and I particularly chuckled the most at the name placed jokes and the litter ones.
Thank you for the ability to read this in the read now!

The jokes in this book range from dad jokes to puns to hissterical funnies and they all put a smile on my face. Many of them even made me laugh out loud! Each page has a beautifully colored illustration that adds whimsy to the jokes. I fully believe that every cat lover should own a copy of this book!

Turns out I love cat jokes. They're so cute. It's so purrfect. Oh, look at that, it's rubbing off on me.

super cute illustrations and very colorful but unfortunately the “jokes” fell flat for me! definitely a cute read for those with littles, but it isn’t really marketed as a childrens book so I was just expecting the jokes to be a little more adult-oriented! 🐾

This was such a delightfully fun and chuckle-worthy read! From start to finish, it kept a big smile on my face. The humor is lighthearted and filled with clever cat-related puns that landed perfectly. It’s clear that the author knows how to balance wit with charm, and the playful tone makes it an easy, feel-good read.
What really stood out to me was how well this book captures the quirkiness of cats while keeping things humorous and engaging throughout. It doesn’t try too hard and the jokes feel natural.
I think this would make a wonderful gift for any cat lover or someone who enjoys cozy, humorous reads. It’s also a perfect addition to a coffee table or a guest room as in something to casually pick up and instantly brighten your mood.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something light, funny, and feline-friendly!
Thanks to Chronicle books for an arc ✨🐈

I love cats and I love silly, dumb,"dad" jokes so I was excited for this one. Unfortunately it fell flat for me and wasn't exceptionally original or funny. It might be better marketed as a kids book of jokes.

thank you NetGalley and the publishing team for early access to this title in exchange for an honest review. all opinions are my own.
the book that needs to be sitting on your coffee table to let your guests know you pass the vibe check. childless cat ladies meet dad jokes. honestly, this book was a silly goofy time and I loved it. the illustrations and color scheme was delightful.

Pawsitives: I love the brevity of the layout. I love the Kitty Purry joke, and just a couple others. Not-feline-it parts: I love dad jokes and bad jokes, but most of the ones in here were very unoriginal and a waste of perfectly good cat scratching material. Is it a kids book? If so it's fine, innocent and flatly silly. If not people will buy it for novelty. I don't enjoy bearing bad reviews because I feel rude, and I care about people's feelings. I also am an Aries and can't easily hold back my true opinions. All in all I aim to help, not hurt. I hope my opinion is taken with a grain of salt. Or catnip.

Hissterical. Purrfect. These words can be used to describe Thomas Nowak’s “The Impawsibly Good Book of Cat Jokes.” This volume is filled with knock knock jokes (obviously said by a feline with attitude), dad jokes, cat puns, and other giggle-worthy cat-related humor.
The illustrations are simple and colorful. They often have a repeating pattern that any cat-lover would love to have as wallpaper.
This book is purrfect for cat-lovers of all ages and will be especially beloved by kids going through a corny joke phase.
I received an advance review copy for free from NetGalley and Chronicle Books, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Nicely done book full of cat jokes, many of them puns, as can be seen from the title, The Impawsibly Good Book of Cat Jokes. The format of the book is great, and the jokes (one per page) are fun. However, I am a dog person, not a cat person, so I might not have lauged as hard as those of the human species who actually love cats. I give the book high marks, but I just think cat lovers will like it more than the, "Where are the dog jokes?" crowd. Still, who doesn't love to laugh at cats?

What's a cat's favorite book?
Hairy Pawter and the Goblet of Cat Treats!
Oh my feline 🐈⬛️ did this book had me snorfling! (When you snort and laugh at the same time.). There were so many funny jokes in here and yes, I disturbed my Grandkitten with my gufPawing 🐾
If you love silly cat jokes that are laugh out loud and sometimes even cheesy, this is the book for you. I had the best time reading this book and pausing to tell my husband the particularly hissterical ones. His smirk😼 was worth it.
If you are like me, a humor and cat enthusiast, this is a must have book. You can pull it out when guests are over and even play party games with it. Give the first line and whoever gets the punch line gets a point (I play games at my parties so I'm always looking for new ideas.)
My recommendation is BUY THIS BOOK! RIGHT MEOW!😻
Thank you to the author, Thomas Novak, NetGalley, and Chronicle Books for an Advanced Reader's Copy in exchange for an honest review.

The Impawsibly Good Book of Cat Jokes by Thomas Nowak is a simple and silly read that's purr-fect for kids. The jokes are light, easy to follow, and full of cat-tastic puns—exactly the kind of humor that gets young readers giggling (and groaning) in the best way. While the book doesn’t aim for complexity or surprise—many of the jokes earn that classic “that’s it?!” reaction—it actually works in its favor. This isn’t a deep dive into feline wit, but rather a charming collection best enjoyed in small, paw-sized doses.
Honestly, it shines brightest as a quirky coffee table book—something guests (to a cat cafe, purr-haps?) or kids can flip through for a quick chuckle. Not a must-have for everyone, but definitely a fun little gem for cat lovers. Thank you, NetGalley!

There are 165 Hissterical jokes pertaining to cats in this book., along with adorable illustrations of different kinds of cats, all with their own personality. First, this book is a great getaway from the daily news offerings and made me laugh. The observations are cute and will resonate with anyone who has ever known, or loved, a cat. This book will lighten the heart and produce oohs and ahhs and a bit of wit, which is exactly what I need to escape reality for a bit.
One of the illustrations in this draft copy has a page of multi-colored mice that look almost like computer mice. This is cute and light-hearted.
This would be a cute book and perhaps a conversation piece on my coffee table.
Some of the jokes might elicit a slight moan, but they are cute and lighten the mood. All of the made me feel better. I laughed but never cried because the book i "purr-fect."
Children can enjoy the jokes and adults can send them off with lots of cat-titude! (Oh my goodness! They have me doing it too!)
This was cute and made me smile. Sometimes, when I feel stressed, I look for something light and cute, and this is hiss-terically helpful. No cat-astrophes here!
Thank you to the author and the publisher for allowing me to read this book. . All opinions are my own.

Ok I've read the I Could Pee on This, so I kind of figured what I was getting myself into, and that was exactly what was delivered. There are a lot of mediocre cat puns, with a few that actually got me to laugh out loud thrown in. I wouldn't recommend reading the whole thing at once, but sprinkle them in every now and then, especially if you have some cat lovers in your life or really want some to roll their eyes at you. It's a fun and silly way to pass the time.

"The Impawsibly Good Book of Cat Jokes" by Thomas Nowak is a hilarious collection of 165 cat jokes and puns that's sure to bring laughter to cat lovers of all ages. With playful artwork and groan-worthy yet entertaining jokes, this book is a purrfect gift for anyone who loves cats and humor. From "mewsical chairs" to "feline fancy," the jokes are clever and fun. With 160 pages of jokes, it's sure to provide hours of amusement. Whether you're a cat enthusiast or just love a good pun, this book is a lighthearted, fun read that's sure to delight.

Fun little book, could be fun to give to kids or a cheesy coworker or family member. The jokes aren't quite good enough to repeat, but it's a cute little book!

If you went into this book thinking you’d come away with a bevy of sophisticated cat jokes to regale your future lovers with, you clearly didn’t read the description. All I know is that I will be baking Mice Krispy Treats for my cats’ birthdays and referring to ketchup solely as cats-up from here on out. If you didn’t give this book 5-stars, I bid you a most meowserable day.

Oh man..this one was read now and I love cats so I thought I would try it. First off there wasn’t as much artwork inside like I thought there might be and the jokes were horrendous lol. Worse than dad jokes which I do actually find funny. I feel bad giving it a 1 star but there was nothing good or interesting

This is a super cute book that any feline lover will find amusement in it. The adorable pictures and colorful backgrounds on each page makes the book pawsitibly purrfect . The jokes are alright, couple of them did make me chuckle and the puns are cute but feel like some are a bit overly used.
I would say this makes for a good coffee table book or a gift stuffer for anybody that just loves anything to do with cats. I myself love cats so I found it cute. Thank you NetGalley and Chronicle Books for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
