🐈⬛ The illustrations were BEAUTIFUL. The colors. The cats. 10/10. The jokes were so cute and cheesy; and I could not expect anything more.
🐈⬛ Also my 6 year old LOVED them and it gave us both lots of laughs.
Note- appropriate for all ages and really fun for cat weirdos like myself.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. As a cat mom and someone who loves a good pun, this book hit all the right spots. I laughed, I giggled, and just enjoyed the simple silliness. The illustrations were colorful and playful. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys joke books, wants to build up their joke bank, loves cats, or just wants to smile and laugh.

Some we’re good some we’re not.. I think kids will probably get a lot more of a kick out of these jokes than the adults would. It was still entertaining and easy read

I could not see some of the jokes due to the copyright logo in the net netgalley reader, so this is based on the jokes that I could read. I found some of them funny, but most of them were better to share to the older generation because I read them to some of my family members and they laughed at almost every one. So this might be more popular with an older or adult audience. Overall, it was a good book to have at a gathering, an awkward gathering, or a cat Café.

Feline lovers, mark your cat-landers for this book's release date. The jokes are quite cute and I smiled frequently while turning the pages.
Absolutely purrfect for the intended pawdience. (See what happens when reading this!)
Many thanks to NetGalley and Chronicle Books for this title. All o-paw-nions are my own.

Thomas Nowak’s "catpendium" of silly, giggly cat jokes is a perfect cookie treat for die-hard cat lovers, or those who have experienced a cat-world of lordly felines, or someone who needs a laugh right now, or just anyone who would enjoy its much-needed lightness in our world. Yes, it is for someone who needs a laugh, for I am one of them. I lost my beloved royal feline two weeks ago, and this is grand – a blessed reprieve from the painful loss - even for a little while, to immerse myself in all the remarkable ways cats are their own marvelous, often condescending, exceptional creatures. The writer captures them splendidly. The illustrations are charming and cheerful. The jokes range from puns to the unbelievable, oddball, demanding, regal behavior of cats. I found my kitty on page after page, and I enjoyed every minute of it. What a great gift to give – and I plan on sharing this when it is published with others, especially those other crazy cat ladies in my world. And one for myself.
I am grateful to Chronicle Books and NetGalley for early access to this pawsatively and litterally (this is addictive!) delightful book. This opinion is all my own.

A very ameowsing book indeed!
Some were good, most were bad (and I’m pretty sure I’ve read it elsewhere), but I enjoyed this book and had a good time 🤣
I love the illustrations and color schemes ♥️
Thank you to NetGalley and Chronicle Books for providing me with the digital Advanced Reader’s Copy in exchange for an honest review ♥️

Coming from a wanting to buy almost anything with a cat on it family…… this book is not good.
Read it with my family… a lot of them didn’t make sense. The rest were just really pushing it, way past awkward dad joke level to just bad. Repetive art made the book more boring.
There were 2 jokes that were actually really good… I think the book would be better if it wasn’t trying so hard to force answers involving cat things… and more cat reactions to things. Like the how many cats can fit in an empty box.

With its clean, bright presentation, cute pictures, and hilarious and sometimes groan-worthy jokes, this is a fantastic gift book for an adult or a child. This was so much fun.

Thank you Netgalley, Chronicle Books, and Thomas Nowak for sending me this advanced review copy for free. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book was so much fun! There was 1-2 jokes per page, and they were a ton of groan worthy puns. The artwork and graphics were incredibly cheerful too. This would a really fun addition to a gift basket for a new cat owner. It's so silly and cute, that nobody could stay grumpy after reading it.

Cute illustrations and jokes are fun. They are light and easy to read. I would recommend this book for children and adults.

A purr-fect little book for kids and cat lovers alike.

Such a cute joke book! The aesthetic of this book is so cute. I loved the colors and the drawings. Only thing of note is that the drawings do repeat, but obviously that is not a big deal at all. Would make the perfect coffee book for cat lovers!

Cute colors and funny little quips surrounded in cat themed art. I really enjoyed the pattern and layout in the book. Just full of little treats for the eyes as well. A few of them made me want to hang things around my house, but alas, I am reading a digital copy.
This makes a cute coffee table gift for cat lovers.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing this ARC.
This book was exactly what I expected and what I needed today. I'm a big lover of cats and terrible puns, so this was right up my alley and it delivered exactly what it promised.
If you have someone in your life that enjoys puns and loves cats this would be a perfect gift for them.

The illustrations are adorable!!! This is a great book to feature in a vet’s office, cat cafe or any animal loving space. It also makes a great gift for kids or cat parents.

This book is silly in the best way possible! The illustrations and colorful designs were so cute. I had a fun time reading through all of the jokes!

This book had me at the cover—hissterical? Say less. As a cat lover, I truly didn’t know what I was missing until I cracked this open. It would pair purrfectly—HAR HAR—with another gem in my collection, How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You.
The color scheme? Immaculate.
The illustrations? Frame-worthy.
The jokes? Every dad’s dream.
The execution? Claw-some—last one, I promise.
This book is exactly what it promises to be: a furociously—can’t stop, won’t stop—good time. Pun lovers, feline fanatics, and anyone who appreciates a good meow-ment—you’ll have to pry these puns from my cold, dead hands—of levity will find something to chuckle about here.
Thank you to NetGalley, Chronicle Books, and Thomas Novak for the privilege of receiving this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
