Are you looking for your next read? Check out The Deadly Book Club by Lyn Liao Butler. I really enjoyed this one. It's available this fall.

The Deadly Book Club follows the women who form the online club that attracts thousands of followers. When one of the members is killed while the group is online, the thrills begin. The reader finds that each woman has something to hide and perhaps has offended a member of the group. It's page turners as you want to figure out who did the killing. Thanks to NetGalley for the arc.

The Deadly Book Club was a lot of fun to read. It was fast paced and once you start, it's hard to put it down. I stayed up waaaaay too late trying to finish it! There are quite a few characters but they are all easy to keep up with so you don't feel lost at any point. All of the women in the Bookers have their flaws and motives for wanting to harm one another so trying to figure out who ACTUALLY did it any why, was quite a task. After all the guessing and mental accusations I was making, I will admit, I was WAY off. Lyn Liao Butler did a fantastic job of keeping you on your toes throughout the whole book. I can't wait to see what else this author has in store!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

The world's top virtual book club comes to a screeching halt during a meeting when the screen freezes and the audio fills with screams from one of them being murdered. Who's the victim? The killer? Are the rest safe or will one of them be next? This sizzling tale kept me up way too late and now my bedroom light will stay on 'til dawn while I add author Lyn Liao Butler to my auto-read list. Thriller fans will devour this!

The members of a virtual book are in for a nasty shock when a glitch causes their cameras to freeze. They may not be able to see what’s happening, but they can hear the sounds of one of their members being brutally murdered. Now it’s up to the readers to discover the identity of the killer, could it be one of them? I loved this wholly original plot line.
