My nephew is starting kindergarten in the Fall, and my sister NEEDS this book. It is the perfect transition book for a small person starting school or preschool. I love that it has a little token (a button) that a little person can get sewn to their backpack or shirt. Such a cute book with cute art.

I received an ARC of this book from Net Galley in exchange for a review. This was a cute story about ways to remember your manners and control your feelings.
My 5 year old says “It was good. Zozo was a silly bunny name and animals don’t go to school!”

What a sweet book! I think separation anxiety is something that all kids go through and I think this book is really a great way to help them. I think this would be really sweet for parents to read to their kids, maybe introduce the buttons too. I loved the pictures, overall really great!

Awesome book! I thought that it was a wonderfully unique idea to make the "grounding objects" different kinds of buttons. Buttons are easily accessible, so readers can definitely copy Zozo's skills in their own everyday lives. This is crucial because it teaches readers early on how to get through stressful/unpleasant situations. Yet another great thing about this book was how much thought and detail was put into it. It was clear to me that the author worked hard to give each button a "superpower", and it added some extra depth and personality to the overall message and story. The final thing that allows the author's point to really shine through is the story's ending. Readers get a chance to see the positive outcome of Zozo's use of the lucky button, which encourages readers to follow Zozo's example. Overall, bravo!!

This book was great, and was a big hit with my 5 year old. It deals with a bunny named Zozo who is dealing with separation anxiety while at school and is missing their Mom - something almost every child deals with at some point in time. My child is in full-time daycare and used to bring away from us, but we just did kindergarten orientation a few days ago so this hit me in all my feels…
I liked that this book included some parent resources at the end.
Thank you to Netgalley for the advanced copy of this one!

It's an inspiring children’s book that teaches kids the power of positive thinking and resilience. Through the story of a young boy who believes a mysterious button brings him luck, readers learn that true “luck” comes from their attitude, choices, and inner strength. With relatable situations, vibrant illustrations, and a gentle message about self-empowerment, the book is ideal for helping children manage emotions and build confidence. It's a perfect resource for parents, teachers, and counselors looking to support emotional growth in young readers.
I personally connected with the bunny's story because I lost my dad almost 3 yrs ago now, I wear his rings almost 24/7 I have his wedding band and it has now became mine. It makes me feel more connected with him everytime I miss him I kiss the ring and it makes me feel like his still by my side.

We absolutely loved this book. It had so many good lessons. I like how it focused on different skills that children struggle with. My daughter really enjoyed it when I finished she said again! Thank you, NetGalley for the arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A cute book for kids to help them with separation anxiety. I especially appreciated the tips for parents and educators. Thank you to NetGalley and Boys Town Press for the ARC.
One star off because it seemed like it was supposed to be about separation anxiety but then there was randomly information about manners mixed in, which is confusing. Are we talking about manners or separation anxiety? Separation anxiety isn’t a matter of impoliteness.

Adorable art throughout the book. I totally love the story and I like how the book not only taught children to be ok at daycare/ school/ away from parents, it also taught shapes and colors of each button as well! Very well done book

This book was so cute. The rhymes, the illustrations, the lessons of leaning on friends and spreading kindness. My three year old boy asked to read it again!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this title.
This title is a great read! It subconsciously talks about separation anxiety which is explained at a child’s level.
I loved the ideas behind the words in this book and the illustrations were bright, and colorful.

This is a wonderful book for children about being independent and learning to be brave without having Mom or Dad around. The illustrations are beautiful and bright. I loved the message that it’s okay for children to miss their parents when they’re away, but still keep something nearby that comforts.
Thank you to Boys town Press and Netgalley for the ARC of this novel; all opinions are my own.

A very sweet book about dealing with separation anxiety in children. The book offers a real life practical idea that parents and teachers can implement using the book as a supporting tool. Overall, this I think this book would be great to have in a classroom, or in the toolbag of a school counselor/ therapist.

A very sweet children’s book on separation anxiety and manners. As a Mama of two littles with Autism and a baby, the story was adorable to read to my youngest two kids, and had some amazing suggestions to help with separation anxiety in real life at the end of the book.

The wording didn’t rhyme all the time, so some of the lines sounded a little odd. But the story and lesson were cute, teaching kids that it’s okay to be away from their parents when going to school and whatnot. I would have liked to see the bunny (whom the story is about) reunite with his mom at the end of the school day in order to show more closure.

This is a really approachable story about separation anxiety and how to deal with it. This would be a great addition to daycares, preschools and kindergarten classrooms! Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me read!

So cute! My daughter loved this so much. She was instantly drawn to the purple bunny on the front. Such a cute and fun read. Thank you!
