Kate wants to try her hand at being a submissive after finding interest in the kink community. Banner wants a 24/7 slave. This description drew me in right away, longing to see how this played out. Banner is protective and intense but his heart is pure and he's the nurturer of his family. He cares deeply and does all that he can for them. Family comes first. Kate is scared and doesn't want to give up control. Her bratty personality had me grinning and anxious for Banner's response. The descriptions of Kate and Banner's physique and how they dress: to the minute details of ripples, curves, cuff links, suits fed into my sensual side. I imagined being able to see these images myself as if they were painted on a canvas before my eyes. Sparrow Beckett provides the perfect blend of training and angst filled sessions of "training" with their time spent with friends and family. We're provided with a bigger picture than just inside the bedroom: one that includes advice from friends, family and friends challenging Kate and Banner's choices, and connections within their workplace. I enjoyed Kate and Banner's group of friends and imagined myself in attendance at one of their parties. This is a hot novel, again with a perfect balance of kink and reality.
