This book was a rollercoaster! I spent most of it shaking my head at Leah, but deep down, I understood how someone could get caught up in that kind of “love.” Pastor Isaac knew exactly who to target, and Leah—fresh off a divorce and craving something real, fell for the fantasy. It’s sad, raw, and way too familiar for some women out here. The story was quick but heavy, and as wild as it all was, I couldn’t put it down.
Thank you, NetGalley, and Black Odyssey Media for the e-book in exchange for my honest review.

I was hoping to really enjoy this messy book but after reading it i had more questions than answers. I felt like the ending was rushed but the middle was drawn out (i understand it’s a novella). All we got for resolution at the end is the wife didn’t die, Leah kills herself but did the wife find out that Issac was in on it?? Did she talk to her son? She mentions her sister a lot but we don’t really get a conversation with her. The story just didn’t feel complete.

I really enjoyed this book! It gave me the vibe of SZA song snooze, Leah did it all to have Isaac in her life down to the very end. I found myself fussing at her because she could not be this gullible. I had to laugh at Leah when she came for Victoria, because she tried it! The mess that came out Issac mouth to play with Leah’s mind had my jaw on the floor, because Leah wake up lol! Thank Briana Cole for this psychological joyride and not giving it a slow burn beginning and that ending I wasn’t ready (in my Kevin Hart’s voice)! I am looking forward to reading more of Briana’s work!!

Blind Devotion is a page turner! A recently divorced woman meets and gets involved with this pastor. Red flags everywhere! Super quick read that you won't be able to put it down! If you like thrillers packed with drama, this is a must-read. Didn't see that ending coming though. Thanks to NetGalley and Black Odyssey Media for this Advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Whewww this quick read was a ride! Had me on edge the whole time because this…this is chaos 😂 Secrets, infatuation, and betrayal all up and through. First of all—girl, you are CRAZY! Love is blind no hun love is delulu in your case I was into it tho lol.
She’s a broken, divorced mama with a cheating ex and her self-esteem in the trenches. So when meets Issac she is gone gone dickmatized just like her sister Deana said lol! She falls for Issac—who is messy, manipulative, and MARRIED PASTOR out here twisting Bible verses for evil 😩 Leah, be serious. Ain’t no way!! That man is a whole walking red flag 🚩
And GIIIIIRL not you out here being the other woman??? GAGGED. That ending?? Had me like the hell just happened lol SHOOKETH
What you won’t do for love is wild… but this right here?? Next level 💀

Blind Devotion had me in a chokehold. The storyline and genre is a little different from my typical reads but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The story was a little fast paced but it gave me the feels of how fast you can fall under the spell of another. You don’t see enough of the reverse age gap so it was refreshing to see the MFC involved with a younger man. I would recommend this read.

Blind Devotion by Briana Cole had me hooked from the first page! It’s a tense, twisty psychological thriller about a woman juggling a risky double life. The suspense and emotional drama kept me guessing the whole way through. If you love dark, gripping stories, this one’s a must-read!

The story follows a 43 year old woman named Leah. Leah had been somewhat unlucky in life when it's come to men. After spending a decade loyal to a cheating partner, a unfavourable divorce, loosing custody of her son and now working a lowly waitresses job to survive...Leah is vulnerable and alone. So when a handsome man, 12 years her junior, knows all the right words to make Leah feel seen again, she falls hard and fast. She is practically hypnotised by Pastor Isaac and she's under his spell before you can blink. What would you do for love?
This is a very short read. I wonder if it's to really highlight the speed in which the right victim can be taken under control. Creating the perfect storm of blind devotion.
While, admittedly, this isn't my favourite genre of reading, it still managed to captivate me and Im betting it's one that'll stick around in my memory banks.

This book was INSANE, in the absolute best way! I was completely hooked from page one and finished it in a single day because it was so fast-paced and unputdownable.
I found myself deeply connected to the FMC; her emotions, her struggles, and her questionable choices had me feeling everything right alongside her, even when I wanted to shake some sense into her! That’s a testament to Briana Cole’s ability to craft layered, flawed, and real characters.
The writing style flowed beautifully, with short chapters that kept me flying through the pages. The tension and anticipation built perfectly, keeping me on edge the entire time. Every twist hit hard, and I truly loved everything about this reading experience.
If you’re looking for a gripping, addictive read that will have you yelling at the characters and unable to tear yourself away, this is it!

My gosh, this book was so good but I love this offer anyway all of her books are really good. I enjoy each and every last one of them but the main character the female she was very stupid and in love and I just wanted her to grow back bone Lotion, not hurt and the male character. He was such a narcissist, and I really hated him for his ways, but it was so good. I loved it. I loved it. I loved it.

Imagine being newly divorced and just trying to figure your life out—then boom, here comes a smooth-talking pastor who love bombs you, takes you to church, and has you second-guessing everything 👀. That’s Blind Devotion in a nutshell.
This was a super quick read and I flew through it. The story was written so well and kept my attention the entire time. The main character? Whew, she was definitely naive, but honestly—it felt real. A lot of women end up in situations just like this when they’re vulnerable and looking for love, so I appreciated that it didn’t feel too far-fetched.
If you’re looking for a fast, one-sitting thriller with drama, red flags, and a plot that keeps you flipping pages, definitely check this one out. It gave major “what would you do?” vibes.
Thanks to NetGalley and Black Odyssey Media for the ARC!

this is very much a clear and definitive case of a victim and the predator. for they know who they seek, they know who they pick. and our victim was chosen. and i felt sorry for her and all the others out there i knew this was happening to by the monstrous horrors in our society. imagine picking someone to manipulate, lie and ultimately destroy.
Leah was desperate for someone to love her. and Isaac saw it, new it, took hold of via it. she promised so much. of course she was. it was a shaking of the head and wanting to shake the people involved kind of book. but still you could ultimately understand every moment of how it was playing out.
a good book. a little sad because of the reality of it. but still ever so good.

May this type of love never find its way to me. Leah was a different breed of woman who fell for the first man that made her feel good. Isaac knew how to pick them because he had Leah wrapped around his finger. I was shaking my head the entire time I was reading this book. I was trying to understand how she let herself be reeled in by all that foolishness. The good pastor had her convinced they were destined to be together by God. If you have ever watched an episode of Fatal Attraction, For My Man, or Snapped this book fits those shows. The ending saddened me though, but I know that karma is coming in hot for good ole Pastor Isaac Pope.

Blind Devotion by Briana Cole
The cover art is beautiful!
This is the type of love I don't want or need! Leah let that pastor play all in her face, and she was blindly devoted to the things he told her and did for her. But at Leah's age, and given her previous relationship—a divorce—she seemed crazy or desperate. I don't know! But she was delusional. The book's realism is mind-blowing! This is a quick read; it's a novella! If you're a fan of Octavia Grant, you'll love this book.

Let me just say that I NEVER EVER EVER wanna experience the type of love she was feeling 😂

Y'all this novella was absolutely insane! Like the main character Leah, was so in love with this Pastor that she did every single thing he said. Believed every word out of his mouth. And when I say this man had an explanation for everythingggg!! Still with his wife? Explanation. Multiple women? Explanation. Like he don't leave no stone unturned y'all!!
She falls so head over heels for this man and blindly follows every word he says that she ends up doing something crazy. The last chapter was definitely unexpected and I hate that it happened to her.. but you live and you learn I guess. I would like to know what happens after.. will the story continue from here? Will we see what happens with Isaac or Victoria or even Christian?
Thank you so much Briana Cole and NetGalley for the ARC! You guys be sure to get a copy of this when it drops on June 10th! You won't regret it!! 🥰

Leah, now at your big age you should knnnnnnnow better! I can’t believe you let this young whipper snapper get you caught up! BLIND doesn’t even touch it Miss Lady! Now, I for one know the heartache that comes when something that’s been established for years comes to a nasty end but there AINT no heartache that could convince me to do ten to fifteen years for a man I met less than 6 months prior! You have to be weary of those religious men sometimes chile lol!! Issac played my girl like a brand new fiddle! And then last revelation just tore me all the way up!

Oh my god!!!! That’s all I can say. WOW.
The very first page had me HOOKED! I honestly wish it didn’t end like that but wow, poor Leah. That was an amazing ride and im at a lost for words. I need moreeeee. Do Isaac and Victoria get a HEA or will he be held accountable??? What a great read!!!!
