It's an easy 5 star for me. I have loved this series so much. The family dynamics, their hearts to find happiness and a sense of belonging. Their abilities to see past mistakes as just that and to recognise the grace of God in all aspects of their lives. My favourite part of this book was the mending of bridges between Beth and her mum. It was beautiful.

C is For Courting by Shelley Shepard Gray. This is the third book in her ABC series. I have loved getting to know the 4 Schrock children/adults finding their path God is leading them too. Great characters that you will become invested in, while reading about their personal journey to overcome obstacles in their lives. Put this in your must read series. Releases Oct 28, 2025. Thank you to #NetGalley and #Kensington Publishing for this Arc. This is my honest review

This series has had me since the very first book and I have been waiting for this, the third and final instalment since the beginning. The entire concept - four siblings leaving the English world and embracing the Amish life of their grandparents - is an intriguing one. I have followed each siblings journey and was invested in what direction Martin and Beth’s life would go. Shelley Shepard Gray did not disappoint. This was a fitting conclusion to the series and was a satisfying read from start to finish. I appreciated how each sibling and their significant other came together and lived their truth. It was inspiring and thought provoking. I’m giving C IS FOR COURTING the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

This is book three of a series where 4 adults think they want to become Amish.
Enjoyable read, good characters.

“I know you’re scared, but everything will be good soon….The Lord doesn’t make mistakes.”
Out of the three books in this series, I enjoyed this one the most. I have rooted for this family from the start, and now it is Beth’s turn to deal with past decisions and plan for her future. Junior is a wonderful character who is much more than he seems at first. I was glad to see her mom make an appearance as they work on their relationship. I also just love the grandparents as they continue to be an ever present source of much needed wisdom and support.
This is an excellent wrap up for the story of the Schrock siblings, seeing them all settled in their chosen paths. And yet the author has said she will continue the Amish ABCs. I eagerly look forward to whatever she has in store for us next. I highly recommend catching up if you have not read them all and be ready to welcome more adventures and lessons from Holmes County.

I really enjoyed the third book of the Schrock siblings.. this book was about Beth and Martin and their journey toward choosing to be Amish or not. And also got to catch up with Kelsey and Jonny. I think Beth is my favorite she's funny, smart and goes for what she wants. This was a good book, keeps your attention and great story. As always Shelley Shepard Gray has written another great book.
My thanks to Netgalley for the chance to read this book, I wasn't required to leave a review.

Loved reading the inspirational and awesome story. Even though Beth is pregnant and learning about becoming Amish, she misses working and goes to work for Junior. Meanwhile, Patti and Martin are in love and don't know how things are going to work out for them with Martin not wanting to become Amish. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of captivating characters, and another must read riveting story by the amazing author, Shelley Shepard Gray.

I have really enjoyed this series. The four siblings are very likable and I especially liked that their Mom
was brought into the story.
There was great chemistry between Junior and Beth. The interactions with Cherry were hilarious.
Martin and Patti also made a good couple. A lot of big decisions for them.
Can't wait to read D is for .......
Thank you NetGalley for this advanced ARC.

Nice continuation of the series as we’ve moved from A to B to C in the series titles. Looking forward to D as I especially appreciate the love and care provided by the grandparents who serve as great supporting characters as their grand children explore what it means to be Amish through well-designed stories.

This is the third book in a series about four young adults who decide whether or not to "go Amish" by living with their Amish grandparents.
In this story, it's Elizabeth's and Martin's lifelong decision to leave or stay in the modern "English" life.
Martin has a good job in a nearby city but he is in love with Patti, who has her own bookkeeping business and a farm.
Patti already joined the church but she adores Martin.
Beth has some issues too, she is pregnant by a friend who wants nothing to do with his baby. Beth accidentially meets Junior at Patti's home,he has his own candlemaking business which Beth imagines is run from his house.
Will they stay or go to find their own paths?

When I started this series I really didn't like it but I really loved this one.
This one had me giggling at Junior and at the same time I kind of wanted to strangle Beth.
I didn't like Cherry at all. Simply because shes an instigator. Just something rubbed me the wrong way about her.
I learned about candle making which is interesting to say the least. I felt like I was there learning how the business went along with Beth.
Patty tickled me pink! I loved her instantly! I love how she doesn't let people walk all over her and how she stands up for herself.
There were a few other characters that I really didn't like at all.
Mommi and Dawdi are two of the sweetest Amish people that I know. I really enjoyed being a part of their amazing family.
Faith, Hope,Love, Family and Trust are all the ingredients that makes this a wonderful story and a reminder that God and family are what's important in one's life.
5 stars for a job well done and for keeping me engaged to see what happened next with Beth's family.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

A sweet Amish romance story. Beth returns home, pregnant, and unwed, and meets up with Junior, who is shy and awkward. Liked this one and would highly recommend it.
