I was curious about what a diplomat's life entails and reading this book answered some of those questions especially around strategy, forming alliances and building trust.
The most surprising part had to be the 24 protocols on etiquette-because little things like seating, attire and handshake- or even just how you introduce yourself and to whom- these felt minute to me but apparently, they matter a lot.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.

Didn’t quite work for me. There were some real nuggets here however the presentation wasn’t clean and succinct and it was difficult to seperate the detail from the key takeaways. Thank you to the authors. Thank you to #netgalley and the publisher for an ARC.

Informative and educational. I appreciate the nuance take of the author and their point of view. I also really enjoyed the format of the book.

While concise and helpful, the formatting is jumbled and confusing. I'd love to buy it as a gift for graduates with design and formatting edits, including better headers. Practical or real-world examples could be expanded upon to be more narrative.
