The premise of this book is fantastic. Life after death, mystery and adventure with action from the get go. Although I initially struggled with the clunkiness of the writing it became intriguing and I began imagining the story unfolding as a movie in my mind. With vague similarities to the movie “The Adjustment Bureau” which I incidentally loved. Frank’s journey in the “spirit” world after his death guided by Michael comes across as a funny yet thought provoking. Good versus Evil, Observer (Angel?) versus Demon…then it segued into this strange world of Gods and Spirits walking the earth, bizarre stories of Adam and Eve, Jesus and…it lost me. I tried and tried again to get into it but I just failed, I turned the page to Abel and a Dnf…I might return to it in time…maybe an observer can tell me the future?
