Sometimes you just have to suspend a lot of disbelief—like falling in love in two weeks after someone steals your purse—but that’s the kind of ride A Mother’s Love takes you on. While the setup was a bit over-the-top and the romance fast-tracked to the extreme, the warmth in Danielle Steel’s writing still shone through. I enjoyed the characters and the layered family dynamics far more than the central love story. It wasn’t my favorite of hers, but it was still a comforting, easy read.
⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (3.5 stars) with a PG rating for mild language and light romantic content.

Danielle Steel has done it again. *A Mother's Love* pulled me in from the very first chapter, and I found myself completely immersed in the story, unable to put it down, in fact I finished it in less than a day! The depth of emotion, the compelling characters, and the powerful themes of love and resilience kept me hooked.
The narration was excellent, bringing each moment to life with warmth and authenticity. The pacing was perfect, and while certain parts were predictable, the journey was so engaging that I didn’t mind. Steel’s signature storytelling shines through, making this a must-read for anyone who enjoys stories about family, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
Highly recommend, this is an emotional, riveting read that stays with you.

It's been a while since I've read a Danielle Steel and oh how I've missed her! This novel did not disappoint. What I like about her books are her strong female main characters. She really champions women. 5 stars!
