I absolutely LOVED how different this story was from anything else I’ve read. It was so funny and sweet! I love a second chance romance and I love how the main character came into her own! Amazing book! Hannah Brown is always an automatic read for me.

A year after her wedding was cancelled, Sybil is encouraged by friends to use the Hawaiian honeymoon hotel voucher about to expire. She expects a relaxing getaway, but encounters her ex-fiance shortly after arriving. What happens after that is a mixture of humor, angst, and still simmering romance. I enjoyed the characters who were nicely portrayed by the narrations. This was a great summer audiobook and I highly recommend it!
Thank you to Hachette Audio and NetGalley for providing an advance review copy of this audiobook. My opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this audio book, the storyline kept me engaged and wanting to carry on listening to. The ending of the book was brilliant . I loved all characters , sebastian was such a fun character .

I loved Mistakes We Never Made.
When I seen book two The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain by Hannah Brown on NG I had to request it!
And y’all she did not disappoint!
I absolutely loved this book and I devoured it in almost a full day. I didn't want to put it down and when it was put down I was thinking of it.
The storyline was fun and different. Characters were all well developed.
One of my favorite reads so far this year!

Thank you Forever and Hachette Audio for my #gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I tandem read and listened to this one.
lThis was such an unexpectedly fun summer read equal parts chaos, charm, and second-chance comfort.
After a non-wedding and an about-to-expire honeymoon voucher, Sybil Rain sets off solo... only to find herself unexpectedly reunited with not one, but two of her ex-fiancés—including Jamie, the most recent and most emotionally raw. What unfolds is a wild, romantic rollercoaster that somehow balances heartbreak and hilarity just right.
Zany plots like this can so easily tip into cringe territory, but Brown pulls it off with a breezy confidence that totally works. The story knows exactly what it is—and leans in. There were times Sybil was a little intense and too much of her own worst enemy, but overall I really enjoyed her character growth.
The miscommunication trope shows up alive and well in this one, so consider yourself warned.
For those who despise the miscommunication trope, here is your fair warning that is strong through this book. But somehow, it fits the chaos of the world Brown has created.
Overall, this was a whirlwind of fun— I would absolutely recommend it, especially if you need a lighthearted beach read.

First off, thank you to Netgalley and Hachette Audio for the ARC of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. There were a lot of things to love about this book; the narration of the audiobook was clear and nuanced. Hannah Brown's prose is another thing that really stands out in this book; there are times when her word choice and turn of phrase are nothing short of perfection. Jamie is a great book boyfriend, and Sebastian isn't too bad of a second fiddle. However, Sybil is a bit frustrating, and what is worse is that a lot of her growth happened off-page prior to the present action so you don't get to have as much catharsis with her as her character calls for. But as aggravating as Sybil was at times, Brown made you care about her. I wanted things for Sybil in a way that is hard to create in a novel. The narration was engaging enough that it assisted in creating attachment to the characters. I was invested from jump and walked away from this book satisfied. Solid 4.25 stars.

Rating: 4.5/5 stars
This book was never dull. So fun and unexpectedly deep. I absolutely loved Sybil and all the flashbacks to her past relationships and broken engagements. It’s one of those slightly improbable setups where multiple exes just happen to be at the same resort, but it was executed so well that I didn’t even care. I was fully in.
I’m obsessed with the narrator. She brought so much sass and emotion to Sybil’s character. I’m already looking up what else she’s narrated.
This is the second in an interconnected standalone series. I do wish I had read Mistakes We Never Made first. I actually just bought it and will be adding all of Hannah Brown’s future books to my TBR.
Also, that cover is stunning. I’ll be grabbing a shelf trophy copy for sure.
Thank you to Hachette Audio and NetGalley for the audiobook ARC in exchange for my honest review!

this book was a bit of a ride. i loved that it has all the characters from the previous book. i thought it was pretty ok until the last bit. then it got a little unrealistic and seemed to take forever. the way the narrator got so into was fun and made it more enjoyable.
thank you #netgalley and #hachetteaudio for the arc.

Sybil’s story is a delightful rom-com that had me grinning through my headphones. After being left at the altar, she jets off to Hawaii on honeymoon vouchers that were about to expire… only to run into her ex-fiancé Jamie at the resort. Mortified, she lies about having a boyfriend, and things get even messier when Sebastian, fiancé number two, shows up and plays along.
I’ll be honest: I usually struggle with miscommunication tropes, and this one leans into it hard. But I’m so glad I pushed through. Sybil’s journey from feeling lost and unworthy to truly accepting her worth was touching and empowering. It was wonderful to listen to her realize she deserves love and happiness on her own terms.
The audiobook narrator was fantastic — she perfectly captured Sybil’s vulnerability, humor, and resilience. I could practically feel the Hawaiian sun and hear Sybil’s internal pep talks. The performance brought every scene to life and made Sybil’s emotional arc feel real and relatable.

This was good but not a favorite. It definitely gave the Forgetting Sarah Marshall vibes it promises! I really liked Jamie but Sebastian drove me nuts but that may have been the point. I loved all of the staff at the resort. The narration was not my favorite so I may have enjoyed this more as a physical read. I could definitely tell that Brown pulled from her experience on The Bachelorette.

I was really excited when Hannah Brown's first book came out because I loved her as the Bachelorette and knew she'd have a fun story to read. It was a solid first attempt, but just okay. This second book was a huge step up though! The title suggests it to be more light and funny, which it had some of, but it was actually quite raw and emotional. I loved the narrator and I was hooked to this listen! I haven't been sucked into an audiobook in a while, but I found that I couldn't wait to continue playing it. I absolutely recommend it and I can't wait to see what Hannah does with her next book!
Thank you to Netgalley, Hannah Brown and Hachette Audio for this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

Sybil never expected to run into her ex-fiancé, Jamie, a year after her wedding was called off. Still struggling in life, she decides to take her unused honeymoon vouchers and escape to paradise. She must look into where things went wrong in the past to determine what she wants for her future.
I requested this audio at the recommendation of a friend and I’m so glad I did. This turned out to be such an amazing audio experience for me. I’m a big fan of second chance romance. If you are looking for some summer vibes with a little bit of angst, friendship and self discovery, definitely check this out. I can’t recommend this audio enough. Cherami Leigh is a new to be narrator. Her performance was truly incredible.

Thank you Hachette Audio and Forever Pub for the gifted audio copy!

This was a very cute summer romcom. I enjoyed it as much as I did Hannah Browns last novel. It felt a little long and I was unsure of who the main character was going to actually end up with, but in the end I was happy with the ending.

A delightful and heartwarming follow-up to Mistakes We Never Made—yet it stands strong as a captivating standalone for new readers as well.
With its breezy, escapist setting, this book is the quintessential summer read. A runaway bride, the whisper of a second-chance romance, and a beautifully atmospheric backdrop make for an irresistible combination.
Sybil’s journey felt deeply authentic and emotionally resonant. I especially appreciated the vulnerability woven into her arc of self-discovery—learning to confront the past, embrace self-love, and move forward with clarity and grace.
And for longtime fans of Hannah’s Bachelorette era, keep an eye out for a few clever Easter eggs that add a playful, personal twist.

Thanks NetGalley of the ARC of this audiobook. I was hesitant to get this book since I couldn’t even finish this authors first published book. I’m glad I had the chance to review it since I actually loved it. I thought the main character was funny, it had great development throughout the entire story and I enjoyed the plot. I loved the MCs friends and their perspective throughout the entire book. This was a fun book for Summer unless you’ve been engaged 3 times.

I really enjoyed this book. I went in thinking it was just going to be a flighty rom-com but there was some seriousness to it that touched my heart. I laughed a lot and cried a little. I will definitely be recommending this book to “My Core Four”.
I listened to this on audio and the narrator was superb! The production was great! I really felt immersed in the story.

A chaotic story turned love story with Forgetting Sarah Marshall vibes. Sybil Rain is trying to figure out her life after her third broken engagement (to 3 different guys) and is working on getting over her most recent ex-fiancé Jamie. Her friends convince her to take a solo trip to Hawaii, the supposed to be location of her honeymoon. Shocker: She runs into Jamie and his female “colleague”¿ Now she has to decide if she’s gonna run away like she typically does or try and enjoy her Hawaiian vacation while avoiding Jamie. Of course avoiding him is impossible at the resort, so old conversations and fights are brought up, old feelings may be starting to resurface, along with other ex-fiancés. 🫢👀
I love a rom com in the summer and this lovers-enemies-lovers was a perfect beach read/listen. Super easy listen with a great narrator that I thought sounded like how I pictured Sybil to sound. So cool that Hannah Brown from the Bachelor wrote this. I can’t wait to read the other book in this literally world of Sybil’s friends!
Thank you to the people who made it possible for me to get an ALC through NetGalley!

Thank you NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review. I loved how quirky and relatable Sybil is and that even through her struggles in life and engagements, that hasn't stopped her from believing in love and second chances. On her getaway vacation using her honeymoon voucher, she runs into not one, but three of her ex fiancé's. She soon realizes that she has feelings for her latest ex fiancé and though avoiding him like the plague can't seem to stop running into him. They can't deny the chemistry still there and decide to give it a second chance.

Thank you NetGalley, Hachette Audio, and Hannah Brown for the review opportunity and audiobook. First off, Cherami Leigh was an amazing narrator and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story! Second of all, I’ve been a fan of Hannah’s since her Bachelor days and am so happy for her success in the writing world.
I would like to start my review of the story by saying that it was a perfect summer read. I also want to note the emotion and depth of this story was beautifully unexpected. The characters were vulnerable and felt real while the plot was intriguing and heartfelt. The setting of this story was really brought to life with Hannah’s use of details which was nice. This story is a perfect mix of coziness and adventure. I was able to laugh and also get a little teary eyed. (For some reason, the moment Jamie sent Sybil ranch, I completely lost it! - it was such a small detail but the gesture of it was huge.) I absolutely loved Syb’s moonstone ring purchase and thought it represented so much growth and self love which really hit home the theme of the book. Great job!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain is a charming journey through love, self-discovery, and second chances. Hannah Brown delivers a witty and emotionally layered story about Sybil, a woman navigating the chaos of four proposals—and the truths each ring reveals. The audiobook narration enhances the storytelling with a warm, engaging performance that brings Sybil’s internal monologue and quirky cast of characters to life. While a few plot points felt slightly rushed, the heart, humor, and vulnerability made it a truly enjoyable listen. A delightful rom-com with depth and sparkle.
