This was such a sweet second chance small town romance which dialled up the spice once the relationship has started. I loved both of the characters and the extended friend group which we have been introduced to by the author. I loved the setting which we have been put in and can see the chemistry which we have seen and I can not wait to read from the other men in the pact

Desired Hearts is the perfect small town romance book.

I was rooting for Parker and Delaney since page one, and it was amazing to see how Parker truly cares about her, and tries to always keep in mind her trauma and give her her space and communicate. Even though the book is a little short, the romance is at no point rushed. They go from friends to lovers in the most natural and nice way, knowing both of their backgrounds.

Cissy Mecca is slowly becoming one of my top authors, and I can't wait to keep reading and seeing what the rest of this group of sworn forever bachelors is up to.

Also, thank you Boldwood Books for an ARC of this book.

One can always be sure of a feel-good romance by this author. Having returned to Cedar Falls after her entitled boyfriend broke up with her - again - Delaney is nursing a broken heart, and home seems to be the best place to lie low and nurse her wounded spirit. Apart from her parents, she is fortunate in her friends who are always there for her. When Parker collects a script for his father at the pharmacy where Dalaney works, it causes some moments of hilarity, but a chord is also struck in both their hearts. What starts as lighthearted banter evolves into a steamy, no bars held romance, one which neither party is ready for. Together, Parker and Delaney learn to navigate an attraction that will not be denied, as well as assess what they both want from life. Reaching for answers puts them on a rocky road, but ultimately the choice is so easy that they surprise themselves. I received a copy of this delightful romance as a gift through NetGalley, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

The Bachelor Pact is in full effect until...it isn't? Four college friends all have great reasons for putting the bachelor pact into effect, but they have already lost Mason to his soul mate. Parker, Beck and Cole won't fall like Mason did, will they?

Well, not all at once, anyway. Parker and Delaney are instantly attracted to each other, but neither want a relationship. Delaney has just come out of the worst relationship ever and Parker did agree to the Pact with his buddies. But, what is the harm in having some fun, right?

As they talk and spend more time together, both realize that it's just easy and they want to be around each other all the time. But what about Delaney's pesky ex? And can Parker get over the fact that he could end up just like his dad and hurt anyone he gets into a relationship with?

Cissy Mecca brings us another steamy, feel good love story in Desired Hearts. I loved this one, and can't wait to see how hard and fast both Beck and Cole fall!!

Desired Hearts was another great read from Cissy Mecca. I enjoyed Parker and Delaney’s story; it was very different from Pia and Mason’s. There wasn’t as much angst as in the previous book; this love story felt more straightforward than the last, with some added spice as well. Delaney and Parker have yet to encounter each other, despite knowing some of the same people; however, an awkward encounter occurs between the two at the pharmacy. Their introduction itself wasn’t awkward, but the reason he was there was. Set up on a “coffee date” by their friend in order to get to know each other ends up clearing the air, but they also come to enjoy each other’s company. They have a natural chemistry with each other, which makes it very easy for them to communicate. Delaney is coming off a bad breakup and doesn’t want to pursue anyone, and Parker respects her decision. It’s her decision whether she wants something to happen or not. I love how Parker is very respectful about the situation, but still makes it known that he enjoys her company very much. Commitment is a huge issue for both of them, but Parker and Delaney seem to have a very strong connection that is hard to ignore. They end up gravitating towards each other as if they had known each other forever. I enjoyed reading about Parker and Delaney’s love story!!! I loved how natural and easy it was between them. Can’t wait to see whose story is next — Beck or Cole?

My sincere thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read Desired Hearts by Cissy Mecca. I give my unbiased opinion of this book in the following review.

Parker doesn't trust love ever since his father cheated on his mother. Delaney is getting over a bad relationship with I guy who not only broke up with her once, but twice. Parker and his college friends made a pact never to get married and if they do, they have to put money in a pot which will go to the last man standing. Mason was the first to fall and he and his fiancé Pia thing Parker would hit it off with Pia's friend Delaney - of course no pressure. Well, they do hit it off and it doesn't take long for them to get physical when left alone at a mountain cabin. They both are firm about it not being a relationship as neither of the wants to get serious. We know where that's headed, right?

This was a cute, low stress contemporary romance. The relationship progressed a little fast for my taste, but they did talk and get to know each other. They shared their pasts, their future goals, and spent time with their good friends. As with the first book Fallen Hearts, I really loved the guy friend group. They drop everything to be there for one another. Many times in romance books, the female friend group is the focus. I like that this series is the opposite. I recommend this book if you want a straightforward fun romance without a lot of angst. I'm curious enough about the last two in the bachelor pact that I plan to pick up those when they come out.

A sweet steamy read I loved Parker and Delaney such a great couple.
Both of them are set against a relationship, but their attraction is undeniable. In order to find love they each have to heal first.
Plenty of banter between their group of friends, I’ve a soft spot for Beck I can’t wait to read his story.
A good small town romance that I really enjoyed.

Thank you for having me on this tour

( A prescription for erectile dysfunction) Delayne is the Pharmacist. She is attracted to Parker. But also embarrassed by the medication he is picking up. As Parker has the same name as his father. She assumed it was his prescription. She’s sworn to patient confidentiality. She gets tricked into a date with Parker. She tried to skirt the issue of the medication he picked up. Parker calls his dad to find out what the prescription was. They shared a good laugh over the situation. Once Delayne, found it wasn’t really for this Parker, but his father.

Parker decides Delayne is exactly who he needs in his life. She has sworn off dating as she recently broke up with a guy who was a total jerk.

Can he win her over?

Delayne is realizing how unhappy she is working at the pharmacy. Her heart is the artwork she does.

Parker is tried of working for someone else. He dreams of his own business.
Can Delayne and Parker find love and careers that make them happy? This is a must read book!

A sweet, entertaining, and enjoyable read about two people who, for one reason or another, do not typically engage in relationships but have an attraction they cannot ignore. Ms. Mecca has given us a storyline that is easy to read, well-written, and characters who grow personally at the turn of every page.
Delaney feels that relationships are not in her future because of her ex and their past. Parker never wants to be in a relationship because of his father and his cheating past. They have a cute meet but it is awkward. Enjoying one another's company, they decide to be friends; however, we all know how that goes; friends to lovers is a great trope. Add in that Parker has a dirty mouth that melts the panties off Delaney.
Desired Hearts is book two of The Bachelor Pact and is a wonderful addition. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

During their college days 4 close friends decided to form a Bachelor Pact, all due to their experiences of their parents’ marriages. The final line of the pact – never say ‘I do’!

Mason was the first one to fail the pact (#1 Fallen Hearts, the story of Mason and Pia) and now it seems like another one is heading that way. Parker has just met a close friend of Pia, Delaney, and they’re both immediately attracted to each other. The problem? Parker is broken by his father’s many infidelities and its effect on his mother and he’s terrified he’ll be the same. Delaney has been dumped, again, by her long-term boyfriend and can’t get over him, despite knowing he was no good for her and worries that she won’t be able to trust a man again.

It's an easy read and the characters are engaging but I found it less enjoyable than the first book, which to me had a more interesting story line.

this book was a light-hearted read about finding the one even though you have sworn not too. Parker and Delaney were brilliantly written characters and I loved how their relationship developed. This plot was a fun read and I enjoyed how the plot flowed and was just perfect.y written,

This is book 2 in a series that I'm going to guess will contain 4 books in total. I hadn't read book one, but they appear to be a series of interconnected standalones, each focusing on a different person from a four way friendship group so you dont need to have read the first to know what's going on.
The tale flicks back and forth from Parker to Delaney's viewpoints in different chapters. I really like this format in a romance.
Speaking of romance, this has many, many spicy scenes and they are H.O.T! Parker has got a dirty mouth on his sweet face.
I really loved the friendships in the book, between the four boys, the girls, and the entire group. You can feel the love they have for each other oozing off the pages.
There's lots of humour and warmth, but there's also plenty of depth. The characters have all obviously had tough dealings with matters of the heart, personally and witnessed in families, and its important to see their journey through that.
This is a super quick read that fans of small town romances will love!

This is a story about Delaney and Parker. Both with past issues that make them reluctant to fall in love or start a new relationship. This story is cute, and happy, with no major drama. Both Delaney and Parker respect each other and work through their differences and issues together as a team. They have great chemistry. The story of the boys bachelor pact is good (4 friends, sworn to be bachelor's forever!), and I wonder who will cave next. This is a good, quick read, if you're looking for something with little drama and good, kind characters!

This was my first book by this author and it didn’t disappoint! I love discovering new authors. Desired Hearts is the second book in the series but I don’t think it matters. I didn’t feel like I’d missed anything. This book focuses on Parker and Delaney’s story. This felt like a fairly straightforward love story, with a bit of spice.

Delaney has sworn off men after getting out of a bad relationship where her ex really made her doubt herself in every way. She’s working in the local pharmacy as the lead pharmacist in the small town she moved to as a teenager, dreaming of another job. She’s just trying to get over her ex and to start living again.

Parker made a pact with 3 of his friends - Mason, Cole and Beck, that he met in college. It’s a bachelor pact, to stay single. They each made it for valid reasons after witnessing the unhealthy relationships of their parents (although in Mason’s case it was watching his heartbroken dad after his mother passed away). Parker has moved to the same small town and is working in construction dreaming of owning his company. Mason has already reneged on the pact and then Parker meets Delaney. Whilst they have friends in common, they’ve never officially met. The first meeting is funny. They’re ’set up’ on a coffee date in order to get to know each other which ends up clearing the air, but they also come to enjoy each other’s company. They both realise they have a natural chemistry, which makes it very easy for them to communicate. Although Delaney is adamant that it’s not a date and Parker, whilst respecting her decision really wants to get to know her better. And makes it known.

Throughout the book, I love the relationship between the ‘boys’, how they tease each other like brothers would. I love how supportive the girls are of each other and how they integrate seamlessly with the boys.

Parker as a character is lovely, I love how he teaches Delaney that are still genuine nice guys out there, and they just can’t stay away from each other. There are no real bumps in the road that stop this couple from being together and it's not long before their romance is all systems go and then the spice starts.

This is a fun, straightforward romance that’s a perfect summer read with HEA.

This is the second trip to Cedar Falls with The Bachelor Pact guys. This time Parker falls hard for sweet Delaney.

It was an easy read that was really enjoyable. There wasn’t a lot of angst (which was kind of nice) but there was a lot of cute flirting. And Parker seemed to really enjoy flirting with Delaney!

It was fun to run into old friends from book 1 and catch up with all the guy gang friends. Lots of clues dropped for Beck and still lots of mystery surrounding Cole!

This is the second book in the Bachelor Pact series, 1 group of friends all with a pact to stay single forever….
After the first book focused on Mason and his relationship with Pia, Desired Hearts focuses on Parker and Delaney, both from broken families with tough past relationships. This story focuses on their relationship and how they build up from their past.
This covers both of their POV’s. It is a face paced, sweet small town romance. Set between a log cabin and Cedar Falls.
I really enjoyed this book, although I did feel at times it moved so so fast.
Thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood books for a copy of this E-Arc in exchange for an honest review.

Even though this was the second book in a series and I hadn't read the first one, it didn't stop me enjoying the book. I loved everything about this cute and easy to follow read. Parker and Delaney's chemistry was off the charts and I wanted them to have their happy ending. I really enjoyed this small town romance and I highly recommend it to other readers. I look forward to reading more by the author.
💜 Thank you to Netgalley, the author and publisher for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

The Second book in the Bachelor Pact series , and it was just as scrumptious as the first one.

This one follows Parker and Delaney through their journey to find love.
I loved this one , Cissy has a special talent for making you fall in lust with her characters. Parker had my attention from his first page. If Delaney doesn’t want him 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m here.

The story is sweet, endearing, engaging and funny in places, especially when the banter between the four men is going strong.
Beck is my next favourite I’m looking forward to seeing him fall.

Recommend read for all who love, love and romance.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

I enjoyed this book it’s part of 2 book series I couldn’t put it down!!

Blurb

Parker

All I ever wanted was to be part of a family. But that’s what I have found in The Bachelor Pact.

That's why I’ve moved into the Heritage Hill Inn in Cedar Falls. To help with the renovations and plan my next move.

I wasn’t looking to meet anyone, but sometimes people are meant to show up in your life I guess. Delaney is everything I didn’t know I was looking for. But I made a promise to the guys…Never stay the night.

Delaney

I should know better than to fall for the dirty-talking confirmed bachelor Parker.

But no one said anything about getting stuck in a cozy, snowbound log cabin together and indulging in a scorching, no-strings fling!

Parker Scott may have a reputation as “the nice guy,” but he’s also a ruggedly sexy commitment-phobe who does more than just sweet-talking! So despite the sizzling chemistry crackling between us, I don’t take his flirty innuendos too seriously. And that suits me fine, I’ve sworn off relationships for good.

But everything changed that weekend. Now I’m hopelessly addicted to Parker’s unique mix of tenderness and sin. Was this eternal bachelor perhaps not so sworn to the pact after all?

Desired Hearts is Parker and Delaney’s friends to lovers, small town romance set in Cedar Falls. It’s book two in The Bachelor Pact and it’s a well written, entertaining and engaging read.
Parker has lived in Cedar Falls all his life and he swore he would never get married after his father cheated and left his mother. Being part of the bachelor pact was aways the plan until a new woman arrives in town.
Delaney needs a fresh start so she takes a job as the local pharmacist in Cedar Falls. She has made friends and it looks like her life is turning around. From the moment she meets Parker a connection is formed but will either of them take a chance and risk their hearts.
I was captivated from the first chapter to the last line, I loved the characters and the camaraderie the residents of this small town share.
An enjoyable and entertaining read that touched my heart.
