The Love Fix is part of Sunrise Cove, however, you do not have to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one. This has elements of found family and enemies-to-lovers. This was an enjoyable read, it was light hearted yet still emotional. Lexi must return to her home in Sunrise Cove a year after her mother passed away. This is okay with her, because her relationship and job are both falling apart. She finds out that her late mother has requested that she and her step sister deliver envelopes to different people, one per week, and they must do this task together. This brings her and her step sister closer, and also her former enemy, who just so happens to be the executor of their mother's will.

The Love Fix by Jill Shalvis is the eigth book in the Sunrise Cove series but can absolutely be read as a standalone.
Lexi is going through a tough time with work and in her personal life. Her mother passed away last year and now Lexi is asked to return to her hometown of Sunrise Cove to honor her mother's last wishes. She and her stepsister Ashley are tasked with delivering letters that will repay their mothers debts and make amends with people in her past. Any money left over after delivering the letters can be split between the girls. Lexi's lifelong friend (and former crush) Heath is the executer of the will and is tasked with helping the girls out. Heath is also dealing with his grandfather and helping out a variety of townspeople with legal and physical work. We follow along as these three navigate dealing with the past, uncovering family secrets, learning to trust each other, and becoming a family.
While I enjoy the found family and friends to lovers themes and the fact that this is a feel-good, clean romance, I also found that the storyline was a little slow for me and a tad repetitive. While listening to this audiobook I found the narrator to be enjoyable and was eager to continue listening to just one more chapter.
While I personally think this story lacked depth, it was an easy and heartwarming read that many readers will enjoy.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest thoughts.

After Lexi's estranged mother dies, she is summoned back to Sunrise Cove to help her sister with the aftermath. Part of the chores include delivering envelopes to people listed in her mother's will. Enter the sexy next door lawyer neighbor who was Lexi's nemesis in elementary school. This is a heartwarming enemies to lovers story that also has a twist of mending family relationships and healing from childhood trauma. Excellent narration! Recommended.

The Love Fix is a charming and heartfelt read that beautifully balances themes of loss, self-healing, and the complexities of family dynamics. Though a quick read, the emotional depth packs a punch. The characters are relatable and well-drawn, each with their own flaws, strengths, and growth arcs. This made it easy to root for them, both in their individual journeys and in the romantic storyline. Whether you're drawn to stories of emotional resilience or enjoy a warm, hopeful romance, this book offers a satisfying blend of both.

Jill Shalvis can do no wrong! This book has everything: heart, humor, and romance. This story introduced us to more of her great characters and farm friends! My favorite thing about Shalvis is her ability to be so real in her humor, a lot of her characters are just so relatable in about every way.

I've enjoyed all the other Sunrise Cove series books and this was no exception. Lexi goes back home to help her sister a year after their mom's death and runs into Heath, her childhood friend/nemesis from years ago. There's a lot of family stuff going on...hurts from the past that need to be healed and communication amongst them that Lexi really doesn't want. Of course we get a very satisfying ending which means Sunrise Cove is always a sweet place to visit!
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to listen and review. Andi Arndt narrated this perfectly! All opinions are my own.

A sweet, sweet story about the love of sisters and in a way, going home again. It was nice to see the reconciliation, the clearing up of the past and enjoy time with this family!

I adored The Love Fix. This is a beautiful story about Lexi, whose life is falling apart. She returns home to Sunrise Cove to help settle her mother’s estate. Her stepsister, Ashley and high school nemesis, turned crush, Heath help fulfill her mother’s wishes. At its heart, this is a beautiful love story - the love of sisters, romantic love, and love a place - Sunrise Cove. It’s the story of found family while finding yourself. I know so many readers who will love this as I did. I’ll be recommending it all year long!

I love Jill Shalvis but this book felt a bit disjointed. The ending was very abrupt and the last quarter of the book seemed off pace compared to the rest. The narrator was fantastic as always but this book just missed the mark for me.

Jill Shalvis managed to bring on all the feels again in this book with humor, sister bonding, family drama, sexual chemistry, elder care, death of a loved one, childhood abuse (not on page), and the trauma and healing that goes along with these life challenges. I did experience a little confusion at some of the back story, but not enough to tamper any of my enjoyment of the main storyline. The setting is described beautifully and listening to the audiobook, narrated by Andi Arndt, was a delightful experience.

I enjoyed listening to the Love Fix. Jill Shavis writes very likable characters. The story was sweet, and entertaining. Lexi had to come back home to help her sister, Ashley, do some things from her mother’s will. Her life is a mess. So it’s as good of a time as any to face her less than stellar past. Heath is her nemesis from way back. He just won’t go away. Lexi finds herself, a relationship with her sister, and Heath. It’s a tough battle to overcome her negative emotions, but she dues find happiness.

This was a cozy summer read with the perfect blend of humor, emotional moments, and an emphasis on family bonds. Great narration .

Thank you to #NetGalley and #HarperAudio for an advance listening copy of #TheLoveFix. I didn't realize this was part of a series, I'll definitely look for more! Four stars!

This is the 8th book in the Sunrise Cove series but it can easily be read as a standalone novel. The Love Fix is an enemies to lovers romance with family, found family and forgiveness themes. It’s a quick read and just right when looking for something light and breezy to read between heavier themed books.
The narration by Andi Arndt is very good and kept me interested in the story.

The next story in the Sunrise Cove series is a heartwarming story of acceptance, forgiveness and love.
The last thing Lexi Clark wants is to return to Sunrise Cove. But with her life falling apart she returns and will face painful memories left behind: her stepsister Ashley and her childhood crush, Heath Bowman..
Can fences be mended and love bloom?

Jill Shalvis has blown me away with her latest book, THE LOVE FIX. This is a story that explores family, trust, and finding yourself. I found the plot to be clever and sometimes humorous. I loved these characters so much! Each one of them had some special qualities. ‘Enemies to Lovers’ is definitely one of my favorite romance tropes and this audiobook knocked it out of park. As a loyal fan, I can’t recommend her books enough!
Many thanks to HarperAudio for my gifted ALC.
