This was crazy...I went in blind and wow!! What a world we dive into!!
There are Fae and Shifters who are at war with each other and our FMC Sadie is whisked away from years of indentured servitude to an Alpha and Beta training academy. She is the first female Alpha and is in a "pack" with three other male Alphas.
Sadie has this inner voice that makes her abnormally strong and a skilled fighter, but when that voice leaves her to recharge she is left without those abilities. There is lots of sexual encounters of all types (MM, FM...) and a why choose element. There are multiple POVs, Sadie's and the other 3 alphas (Jax, Cobra and Archer).
I was able to listen to the audio and we get different narrators for the POVs. It was a lot but also a quick listen/read.

Right off the bat, I'm hooked on the world building. I really enjoyed this book and found the mystery to be intriguing.
It is shame this book ended on a cliffhanger because I'm very interested in knowing what will happen next.
The story was good and I'm always down for an underdog storyarch. The narration was good as well.
I look forward to the next book in the series from this author.

Loved this!! Spicy and hilarious fantasy.. ends on a cliffhanger.. definitely recommend for fans of zodiac academy.
The audio was perfection and I can’t wait for the next one to come out.
Thank you to htpbooks and thehive for the gifted audio!

I loved every minute of listening to this audio. The narrators were AMAZING, such good picks. It was hard to stop listening, but as a mother of 3 I unfortunately had to. I found myself constantly thinking about picking it back up again.

Thank you to Netgalley and Harlequin Audio for giving me an early copy of Psycho Shifters.
I first discovered Jasmine Mas through Blood of Hercules and instantly fell in love with her sharp wit and addictive writing style. While shifter romances usually aren't my go-to, I couldn’t resist diving into Psycho Shifters just to get another taste of Jasmine's storytelling, and I’m so glad I did. Add in Teddy Hamilton narrating? There was no way I was passing that up.
Psycho Shifters is a wild, fun ride packed with the same dry humor that hooked me before. Sadie is a fierce, no-nonsense FMC who doesn’t back down, even when surrounded by intense, dominant alphas. I loved the mysterious undercurrent running through the story (I definitely need the rest of Ascher's story), and getting the POVs from Jax and Cobra made it even better. You can see how much they’re all drawn to Sadie, even if they try not to show it. I’m totally hooked and can’t wait to see where the rest of the series goes!

Psycho Shifters is a spicy, dark paranormal romance featuring reverse-harem vibes, “why choose” polyamory, and supernatural shifters. Sadie, is an underdog—small, underestimated—but is fierce as she starts bootcamp with three alpha male shifters: Jax, Ascher, and Cobra. Psycho Shifters is unhinged, addictive, and hilarious.

This book was just… bizarre. I honestly don’t understand how it has such a high rating.
I felt like I had whiplash from Sadie’s constantly shifting personality—every chapter, she felt like a completely different character. It seemed like the author couldn’t settle on who she was meant to be.
The love interests were some of the worst I’ve come across in a while. Ascher was downright awful—calling all women "sluts" was gross and irredeemable. Jax was forgettable, and Cobra’s personality was just as inconsistent as Sadie’s. Even the best friend, Aran, gave me the ick.
The concept had potential, but the writing felt incredibly juvenile. Every interaction was painfully awkward and cringey. While the story was creative, the execution fell flat. Overall, I’m really disappointed.

Gah! I had already ARC read this beforehand and wanted to listen to the ALC version and what can I say? Y’ALL outdid yourself! The duet style with four narrators was immaculate, the tonality and engagement of the voice really colored the story and made me have an AMAZING time again with this book! I love it! 😍

This was my first Jasmine Mas book and I am ready for more.
Sadie is an indentured servant who after getting tested is reveled to be the first female shifter. She is sent off to help guard a portal with 3 other alphas. Having never shifted or experienced fighting or battles she's in for a big adjustment, needing to train, learn to shift, and help guard a portal from monsters sent in by the fae queen.
Loved the multiple narrators and POVs.
Bully Why Choose
Ends on a cliffhanger
I am so ready to start the next book.

*Psycho Sifters* by Jasmine Mas is a wild, fast-moving story with plenty of chaos, dark humor, and over-the-top characters. The premise is intriguing and has bursts of creativity, but the pacing can feel uneven, and the plot sometimes gets muddled beneath the mayhem. It’s entertaining in moments but doesn’t fully deliver on its potential. A 3-star read—fun for those who enjoy zany, unpredictable stories, but not the most polished.

I loveee Jasmine Mas' writing. This series has always been so intriguing to me. It have everything i love about a why choose romance. the men are all so different and i couldn't help but want to know more about each one. The boys really didn't blend at all. i knew who i was reading about and was able to separate each character. the narrators had done perfect job the story was so compelling and i listened to it within a couple hours while doing household chores. I think its the perfect fast paced read and i cannot wait for the rest of the series, The writing is so realistic and weird but fun to read. I don't think i have ever read about a character suffering from extreme diarrhea in a book before. I literally couldn't stop laughing. I Overall enjoyed it but i could see where others may not .

Disclaimer: I received an audiobook arc of this book in exchange of an honest review
I'm not entirely sure how I felt about this book. As a concept, I liked everything about it. Strong characters and world building, alpha/omega trope, romance, action. But for some reason it just didn't really grip me. It felt like I kept waiting for more, and it just never really landed. Again, I liked the characters, but I did find it hard to keep track of who was who. The voice acting in the audiobook was well done though!
The spicy scenes felt a little flat or not completely written well enough.
It kind of reminded me of a wattpad story? Not like, in a negative way, just in general.
Kind of just a miss for me but I don't regret taking the time to explore it.

ARC Audio Review:
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Jasmine Mas, and the publishing company for sending me an advance readers audiobook copy of Psycho Shifters.
Jasmine Mas, you have helped me through some of the hardest times of my life, I just first must thank you for that. I listened to the book that caught everyone’s attention Blood of Hercules on the way to my uncle’s funeral, it helped give me the mental break I needed after losing a man who meant everything to me. Thank you for writing such crazy wonderful world that I am so happy to get lost in.
This Audio ARC was on fire! I am surprised that they were able to get this much heat in one audio because good God, it had me sweating. Bravo to all the voice actors Mollie Stark as Sadie, Jamie L. Smith as Jax, Teddy Hamilton as Cobra and finally Jeremy York as Acher. All of them were wonderful and the way that these men growled! I know some people are not into a dominate bully romance, but they were six five if that makes a difference at all.
Jasmine Mas has such a way of sucking you into a world and not wanting to come up for air. I love how unapologetically her female characters are human. They are so flawed and maybe a little psycho, they have gone through their battles coming out stronger on the other side. This style of writing will not be for everyone and that is okay, it is one hundred percent for me. I love the women that she creates, and I appreciate the level of crazy she lets them be.
What made this book different from Blood of Hercules was this is based in a total fantasy world instead of a post-apocalyptic United States. We get more character-to-character interaction verse just being in the main female characters head. I enjoyed both books, in this one I did not have to guess as much to what the male main characters were thinking. We got their perspectives constantly which I loved learning about them helped me understand why they were so hard on Sadie.
Now Jasmine, I have already started book two because the end of this book will have you running to pick up the next. I cannot wait for the audio version of book two Psycho Fae comes out January 27th, 2026, mark your calendars! You can got listen to Psycho Shifters on your preferred audiobook platforms now.
Psycho Shifters deals with sensitive topics such as physical abuse, violence and past traumatic events sometimes explained in detail. I believe this book is written in a way that handles these topics with care, detailing them in a way that shows sometimes humor is how we cover up our pain. If it is triggering for you, please read with care.
For all the women who like their men a little obsess with a dash of crazy these books are for you. Psycho Shifters will be my current obsession until I finish the series, I am already 80% through the second book. Congratulations Jasmine Mas you deserve all the praise and attention you are getting for you writing I cannot wait to read your next books!
Thank you again to the publishing house and NetGalley for my audiobook ARC.
Rating 4/5

This audiobook was such a blast! The narrator kept me engaged throughout the book. The twist at the end was ahhhhhhh. I will continue with this series.

💜 Dark Omegaverse

Thank you NetGalley for the ALC
This was such a fun ride! I've been wanting to read the Cruel Shifterverse for some time now and this ALC was the perfect opportunity. The duet narration was perfection, all the narrators were perfect, especially the voice actor for Sadie.
Although this is a dark shifterverse, the comedy was top tier and Mollie Stark's performance really took it to the next level.
I can't wait to listen to the rest of this series! 💜

I love when the boyfriends are also boyfriends! I ate it up and I am not ashamed about it! I’m unsure if I’ll continue the series but I really liked this first book

One thing you can count on Jasmine to not give you is a cute and feel good romance! However if you want a bad a$$ female character who literally doesn't take any man's crap and just proves herself over and over again while a couple of hot alpha-holes fall for her, then this is defiantly a book that you want to pick up.
I really enjoyed the dual narration and thought it really elevated the story. This story keeps you intrigued an on your toes. Great for lovers of why chose romance without all the lovey dovey parts.
After that cliff-hanger I will for sure be picking up the next one.

Sinfully addictive. This one was gripping from the first page. I honestly could not stop reading it. Once it gets more into it, it seems like The Never List. A bit of "why choose" blended with a whole military training academy feeling. The FMC is empowered and not ok with men overpowering her, but she is small in stature, and is very self-aware. She is strong and resilient, which makes her incredibly relatable. The MMCs are sexy, strange, and mysterious. There is a whole "werewolf shifters" type trope in this one - down to smell for alphas. So many emotions. Multiple moments of political intrigue. And an ending that you won't believe.
The cast of narrators did an amazing job embracing the inner dialogue of each of the characters. It really brought the story to life.

This is book one of the Cruel Shifterverse Series. It ends on a cliffhanger.
Reading Psycho Shifters was entertaining, but listening to it, brought it to another level! I love duet audiobooks! But a different narrator for each character? YES PLEASE!!!
Jasmine Mas is a new to me author but her world building is great! I was invested in the FMC, Sadie, from the beginning. She’s got a past she wants to keep hidden and now she’s thrown into the limelight, as the first female Alpha. We get little POVs of the MMCs; Jax, Cobra and Ascher. I can’t wait to learn more about these Alphas and their past! Looking forward to continuing the series!
If you love paranormal, slow burn, reverse harem, dark & broody, bully romance, then this book is for you!

This was such a fun audiobook! I was sucked in and loved that I was immediately thrown into the story! I am a sucker for male narrators and this did not disappoint! I immediately downloaded the second book and wanted to know what happened after the twist at the end.
