I love this book and can not wait to go right into the next one! I listened to this on the newly released audiobook and it was fantastic. All of the narrators did a fantastic job at portraying each character. I loved Sadie and all of her humor, it was sarcastic and dark at times. The men in this book were top tier. They were all different but complimented each other in the story.

The ending had me so surprised, I did not see the twist and betrayal coming. It was so well done.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ALC.

Well...I did not love it but it was entertaining enough for me to finish it.

A book full of overly immature and over sexualized characters. The men are too big and she is dainty and small and covered in scars *eyeroll*. I am confused what kind of world we are in there are guns and phones but they also ride horses and shift into big scary monsters. They are also fighting the fay. Like what? I hate when there is no world building and we are just picking up bread crumbs trying to figure out where the f we are.

I have very little to say about the lore or anything else in this book because nothing happened. We spent more time in these characters heads listen to them lust after one another than we did learning or caring about anything really.

ALSO! You made me go through this whole book and I DIDN'T get to see all of them get it on all at once. That was just diabolical.

The performances of all of our very talented voice actors was top notch and honestly was the reason I finished this book and gave it 2 stars.

An addicting start to the series! Sadie was such an interesting character and I am really enjoying her relationship development with Jax, Ascher, and Cobra, as well as the dynamic between the three male alphas. My only complaint here is that I feel like the bully aspect of the romance could have been a bit stronger. I am wondering if this was because in the male POVs, their feelings didn’t fully match with their treatment of her. It would have been better if there was more hate mixed with the lust at the beginning and have that dissipate slowly as we go along, especially for Cobra.

I loved the twists and betrayals sprinkled throughout and it is a really interesting take on an Omegaverse story, having a female alpha in a reverse harem. I have seen side characters in other Omegaverse books with female alphas and a male omega, but not a female alpha with other alphas. Excited to see where this goes!

The audiobook definitely added to this book experience. I knew as soon as I saw Teddy Hamilton was one of the narrators this was going to be good and I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the full cast, especially since the book was multi-POV, and Molly Stark did an excellent job capturing Sadie’s personality and raspy voice.

I loved this! The narrators do a great job (even with a few words mispronounced). The story is actually really engaging, the FMC is flawed but badass, and the 3 Alphas are all dark, twisted, and incredible! This book is so fun! I'm going to have to physically read the next few books while I wait for the next audio book to become available!

this was so good. I am a strong and faithful Teddy Hamilton fan. And, oh my gosh (best Janice voice) it was so good. I was interested from page one to the end. I loved how the main characters size did not define her. i have no triggers so the on page/off page abuse didn't affect me. but do i have a new auto-buy author 100%. I love it so much i ran to KU to look into the rest of the books. im now on book 3 of the series. i can not wait to see what happens next. the cliff hangers absolutely drove me wild with excitement for the next book.

I'm shocked how much I liked this! The production quality is next level with a full cast and big narrator names. The world and spice was fun, but I'm glad I listened to it and didn't read it because I could see getting bored in the middle.

I'm super intrigued with where it's going, and am just happy to be back in the Omega-verse.

It reads like a horny teen girl's shifter fantasies, and I'm here for it!

Psycho Shifters is a solid vibe read/listen. It was entertaining and easy-to-follow.

As an audiobook, it shines – Teddy Hamilton is a personal favorite, and the full cast narration brought Sadie’s journey to life. I followed along on my Kindle occasionally and noticed that the audio added a few minor changes that deepened character understanding and the emotional stakes of the story.

The story is very much an intro book – we get hints of the larger conflict between realms, and the world building raises more questions – I’m sure to be answered later in the series. Still, it was entertaining watching Sadie grow into her strength and begin to embrace the alpha she is becoming. There’s A LOT of tension between her and the other alphas, but don’t expect a full romance just yet – this is a VERY slow burn.

That final twist though? It’s enough to keep me invested – I need to know how the alphas will react and what it means for their crew moving forward.

Thank you to NetGalley, Harlequin Audio, and Jasmine Mas for the advanced audio copy in exchange for an honest review!

This is 100% a vibes and spice read/listen, and I. Am. Here. For. It.

Mollie Stark and Teddy Hamilton are the stars of the Psycho Shifters audiobook. Teddy is an auto listen narrator for me, and he did not disappoint as Cobra. He was sinister, threatening, and radiated Cobra's intriguing Alpha energy all through his performance. He also did a fantastic job narrating side characters in a way that made them sound completely different than Cobra.

This was my first listen with Mollie Stark, and she was fantastic! Jasmine Mas knows how to write snarky, sarcastic yet vulnerable FMCs, and Mollie brought Sadie to life with all the personality that Jasmine intended.

Although Psycho Shifters won't be for everyone due to some of the content, I definitely had fun with it. It was fast paced with hilarious banter along with intrigue and a FMC that you can cheer for.

This book has everything a reader could wont. Drama, shifting, strong men, and a women you doesn't quite know all the power she really holds. It left me wanting to know what was going to happen next. I am sad that it left me on a cliff hanger but that will just make the wait for the next book worth it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Stars – Dark, Twisted, and Addictively Wild

Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas is an intense ride from start to finish—equal parts brutal, sexy, and unhinged in the best way. This dark paranormal reverse harem throws you straight into a gritty world full of secrets, power struggles, and a heroine who refuses to back down.

The dynamic between Jax, Ascher, and Cobra and our fierce lead is deliciously chaotic. The bully vibes are strong, the tension is palpable, and when the spice hits…it hits. The slow-burn pays off with scorching MMFM scenes that are not for the faint of heart. Plus, the Omegaverse twist adds a fresh spin that fans of the genre will devour.

My only reason for knocking off a star is that the world-building, while intriguing, could’ve used a bit more clarity early on. It drops you in headfirst and takes a minute to find your footing—but once you do, it’s impossible to look away.

If you're into dark, bloody romance with unhinged alpha shifters, secrets, trauma, and lots of heat, this one's for you. Just make sure to check those trigger warnings—this book does not hold back.

I couldn’t love Psycho Shifters more. The way I DEVOURED this audiobook is unreal. If I had even a minute to listen, I did and I’m so sad it’s over - because that cliffhanger!

If you loved Blood of Hercules I beg you to read Psycho Shifters. Jasmin Mas has a way of writing FMCs who are down on the luck but still have a spark of self preservation if not shown via self depreciation.

Sadie is an orphan living in a shifter world, believed to be of lower power. She and her little sister were taken in by a local Beta who owns a bar and likes to use force to keep Sadie in line but is kind to her little sister. One day she finds herself in a predicament that gives her more questions and a new found life to live… and three Alpha Shifters who she’s NOT really found of.

Jax - a bear shifter and our oldest shifter and most “easy going” if you HAD to label someone that…

Cobra - a snake shifter and our most disgruntled Alpha - he literally is covered in gems.

Asher - our ram shifter and resident hot head. He plays the a**hole well and likes to call Sadie Princess.

The cliffhanger begs more questions than answers and I have a bone to pick with Ms. Mas! Can’t wait for the next one!

I love this book. Sadie is so funny and the band are between her and cobra is beyond awesome and I also like that the fact that she’s gaining friends and it’s not just her with the men. highly recommend it has the great world building in it, and it kept me tied and interested and it’s also has a mystery to it which I love.

This book is addicting! I started and finished the Audio version in one day! Somehow the slow burn was there but also I was hooked. Usually I get kinda bored and wander but not this time. The men were def toxic and had experienced trauma so I was able to ignore it enough to enjoy the book. Is this a super healthy example of how to treat people? No! But is this a fantasy book that can do whatever it wants? Yes! And it just got better with the ending! I am glad she set up the ending so I didn’t feel as strongly about what happened. I just want more! People had been telling me to read this and I kind of just ignored them but now I’m glad I did! The ending was great in my opinion and the sneak peek of what’s to come had me SPRINTING to audible to see when the next book was out on audio!

This is the first book in the Cruel Shifterverse series told from multiple POVs. Sadie joins Ascher, Cobra, and Jax when, after being tested, it's discovered she is the first female Alpha shifter. She is thrown into a new world, training for war against the Fae. Sadie comes from a traumatic past. Before being discovered as an alpha, she was a severely abused indentured servant. But she puts on a brave face in front of the other alphas to show she is not weak and hides her scars. The attraction between the alphas is hot and intense, giving off why choose vibes. This is a slow burn, spicy reverse harem with a new take on the Omegaverse. I think the author did an amazing job with Sadie's character. The story has plenty of dark humor, an unhealthy coping mechanism as Sadie endures more traumatic events, and ends on a cliffhanger, leaving you wanting more.

I listened to the audiobook. It was narrated by Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton and Jeremy York. They are all great narrators and some of my favs. They all did a great job capturing the emotions and personalities of the characters. Mollie Stark and her ability to capture the raspy voice of Sadie was amazing!

Was this book on the same level as blood of Hercules? No. However, this is book one of six. I feel things will be more in depth as far as the world and characters throughout the books to follow in this series. Did I enjoy this book? Yes! The characters are definitely psycho and have their issues. So the title is fitting. The MFC is strong and fierce despite all that life has handed her. The MMC’s are tattooed, jeweled and horned beasts of hotness. There was a plot. There was things I didn’t see coming. There was also some humor and good banter between the characters. I liked the uniqueness of the characters and their shifter abilities. As far as the romance and spice, there are some steamy scenes but, not much happens between the main characters.

Overall it was a good, fun, steamy read and I’m looking forward to the next book. The way this one ended has left me with questions I need answers to!
I give it 3.75 ⭐️

If you like fantasy, steamy romance, morally gray alphas, a strong, fierce heroine and tropes like why choose and enemies to lovers, I’d recommend giving this book a try. The cast of narrators for the audiobook didn’t disappoint. I loved the narrators! There are some things that won’t be for everyone and that some may find triggering so keep that in mind before starting this.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this ALC!

What would you do if you woke up one day and everything changed? That change including 3 alphas training you 🥵

Sadie grew up as a servant for 20 years being beat everyday. And then a hooded man comes and says she needs to be tested. The Sacred Lake shows her as being an alpha, so she whisked away to go to a portal and help guard from the fae.

Jacks, Cobra, and Ash are the alphas there and they have to train her. I loved their banter and the character development from all of them.

I finished this book in a day it was so good I couldnt put it down.

Thank you Jasmine Mas, Harlequin Audio, and NetGalley for letting me listen to this and review it

Psycho Shifters takes place in the Cruel Shiftersverse series about Alpha and Beta shifters tasked with protecting the realm. The book came out in 2022 but has been rereleased with a special edition paperback with sprayed edges as well as a duet audiobook with multiple narrators.

Ever since reading Blood of Hercules, this series has been on my tbr and I can tell you, if you loved BoH as much as I did, you’ll probably love this series too. They have very similar tone, characters, plot, themes and just overall vibes. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The narration was spot on with the multiple narrators all doing their own characters throughout the chapters so it made it easy to follow along with which character was speaking.

This is a quick, easy to digest omegaverse romantasy. It was fun, a bit wild but the world building was really easy to follow along with. Some great humor mixed in. I would recommend it to friends.

Thanks to NetGalley, Harlequin Audio, Harlequin Trade Publishing & Canary Street Press for the eARC and ALC copies to read and listen to.

I loved every minute of this full cast, duet-style narrated audiobook! The narrators embody all the best feral, unhinged, and chaotic elements of these characters.

Sadie is tenacious and resilient—a survivor with the heart of a warrior despite her frail and small stature. Jax, Ascher, and Cobra are frustratingly handsome, intriguing, and unnerving in equal measure.

The narrators explore the highs and lows of each character and their warring emotions towards Sadie. I loved the shift transformations, Sadie’s unique abilities, and the evolving relationships between the characters. Sadie’s journey is just beginning and I cannot wait for what’s next.

Huge thanks to the author, Harlequin Audio, and NetGalley for the audio listening copy. This is my honest and voluntary review.

🎧 Audiobook Review: Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 for performance
🎭 Full cast • Duet narration • Dark paranormal RH

I had the absolute pleasure of listening to the ALC of Psycho Shifters, and WOW—the audio experience ate. Every single narrator brought something unique to the table and made this wild, bloody, and chaotic world come alive in the best way.

Mollie Stark was phenomenal as Sadie. Her delivery had the perfect blend of sharp wit, vulnerability, and bad bitch energy. She nailed every emotional beat—from the sass to the heartbreak—and made Sadie feel like a real, fierce, and layered woman. I honestly can’t imagine anyone else voicing her.

Jaime Lincoln Smith, Jeremy York, and Teddy Hamilton? 🔥🔥🔥
Each brought serious alpha energy to the table. Jaime’s growly command, Jeremy’s intensity, and Teddy’s signature charm and emotional depth made Jax, Ascher, and Cobra completely irresistible. And Teddy? Ugh. Chef’s kiss. As always, he delivered the kind of narration that makes you forget you’re listening to fiction. I melted every time he spoke.

The duet style narration and full cast format worked perfectly for this story—it heightened the tension, deepened the dynamics, and honestly made the spicy scenes hit harder (in the best way). If you’re a fan of full-cast audiobooks and want something bold, twisted, and steamy with stellar voice acting, this one’s a must-listen.
