This book was phenomenal. I absolutely love Jasmine Mas’s writing. Sometimes all you need in live is an inappropriate humor..um yes thank you. I loved the world building throughout the book. The four narrators were TOP NOTCH. I’m so excited for Jasmine that this is being traditionally published you won’t regret listening to it.

Thank you so much to Harlequin for the ALC and to NetGalley for this one.

Psycho Shifters said “what if we just rewrote Ruthless Boys but, like, slightly different?” and honestly… same hat, different font. The narrators carried it hard, but the plot? Meh. I finished it, but I’m not starting a fan club.

One of the things I've noticed for Jasmine's books are how morbid the heroines are and it's the best. This one was no exception, Sadie and the guys are so unhinged and it makes for such fun reading. I'm so intrigued by everyone's dynamics and I can't wait to see what happens throughout the series!

If you’re looking for a fun, fast paced shifter romance with easy world building, moments that will make you laugh out loud & characters you have no idea if you love or hate, then this one’s for you! Also, I had been in the weirdest reading funk & this just did it for me 😌

I did the audio & honestly this was such a fun time. The audio was full cast, which I absolutely love, the narrators were amazing & really did such a great job bringing the plot & characters to life. Some of the narrators were new to me but I really enjoyed them & anything with Teddy Hamilton in it is always guaranteed to be a good listen. Highly recommend it! 🎧

Sadie was so funny & said the most random things. She really had no filter & said whatever came to mind which made for some many funny moments in the story.

The MMCs were so different from one another but made complete sense together. Jax was big ol’ teddy bear, Cobra was straight up an asshole but honestly it was working for me & Ascher…idk how I feel about you yet 👀

For why-choose, this wasn’t really spicy but we do get some 🫦 moments between the MMC’s throughout the book so I wasn’t mad. I didn’t care much for the “modern slang” in the dialogue, I feel it took away from the “fantasy” (I’m using the word fantasy loosely here 😅) vibe of the book but the cliffhanger at the end was so good & I’m still definitely reading book 2 ASAP cause I got questions & I need answers!

- Why-choose
- Shifter romance
- Slow burn
- Forced proximity
- Mild bully
- Cliffhanger ending

I would like to thank the publisher for giving me an audio-arc in exchange for an honest review through NetGalley.

Sadie and her sister are orphans. Being an indentured servant, Sadie has undergone an excessive amount of abuse and lives with the scars as a reminder. When she turns twenty, she takes the test and learns that she is the first female Alpha and is taken away to train and fight the fae. But when she ends up stuck with three extremely large, psychopath, alpha roommates, she'll have to prove that she belongs there, or they might just kill her.

All right, so this was full of that same humorous voice that I've come to associate with Jasmine Mas and I loved it. Sadie is a badass main character who has suffered through a lot of trauma, and her coping mechanism is clearly a huge dose of snark. i loved seeing her verbal sparring matches with these gigantic shifters and not backing down. What I really enjoyed about this, though, was the fresh take on the shifter omegaverse kind of books as these alphas don't shift into a particular animal but into individual monsters. I loved the way the world is set up, and I'll be curious to see more of the other realms as the series continues. But my biggest draw for this book in particular was the characters. I love the dynamic between the three shifter roommates and each other, and while they're already together, the slow burn between them and her is intense and I can't wait to see them go at it (hopefully) in the next book. Warning, there is a HUGE cliffhanger at the end and I am now dying to read the next book because I need to see where this is going to go. So overall, this is fast-paced and highly addictive and I definitely recommend it.

Give this ALC its stars because this one sucked me in from the very beginning. Jasmine, ma'am. I don't know how you do it but you are constantly making me laugh, gasp, and question myself. This book has me reaching for the next installment but guess what?! I can't get it because it doesn't come out until 2026!! You're going to make me eyeball read so that I can find out what happens next. Someone recently said this is a 6 book series and I am GIDDY!!

Mollie Stark, Jamie Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York-- yall did a phenomenal job narrating and I'm going to need yall to continue for the next books. Super jobs! Mollie, you are a Rockstar in the inflections and had me cackling with laughter. Thank you for putting your heart into this.

Thank you to @netgalley and @harlequinbooks for this gifted ALC.

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin audio for the ALC of Psycho Shifter!

I loved this one! It was wild, dark and crazy! The banter was hilarious and I enjoyed the world building. It was so much fun to listen to! The narration was perfect! I love when an audiobook has multiple narrators. The ending has me needing book 2 now!

𝖥𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍 𝗅𝗂𝗄𝖾 𝖺 𝗀𝗂𝗋𝗅... 𝖮𝗋 𝖺 𝗌𝗁𝗂𝖿𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝗈𝖿 𝗅𝗈𝗋𝖾
Sadie grows up with nothing. When she gains her freedom she learns that she is a shifter, an elite solider thats turns into a monster but she’s not just any shifter.

Sadie must learn to navigate her new role and keep up with the other alpha shifters or she’s in for it. They think she’s weak, can’t fight and not strong enough for war. But she’s going to prove them wrong.

Keeping secrets from her past and staying numb to it all Sadie doesn’t want them to learn the truth.

Doing her best to put up with the psycho alphas. Sadie does make a friend along the way but little does she know that friend is also keeping a secret. Truths unfold, identities revealed and banter is had!

I enjoyed this book and if you like a hilarious unhinged banter and badass FMCs then this book is for you!

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the ALC

This was just fun, and the narration is amazing. This was the perfect guilty pleasure listen/read. The fantasy world in this was different and I’m interested to see where it goes once we enter the Fae realm in book two. I enjoyed getting to be in each main character’s mind, each has their own version of snark which at times were hilarious. Honestly, it was just fun and don’t we all just need a little fun right now?

OMG—I need book 2 on audio like yesterday! I absolutely loved Psycho Shifters. I honestly hate that I waited so long to dive in, but now I’m fully hooked and will be (impatiently) waiting for the next audiobook release.

As someone who prefers audiobooks because of mild dyslexia, I am so invested that I’m already preparing myself to physically read book 2 if I have to. The cliffhanger alone? Brutal in the best way—I need to know what happens next.

The only reason this wasn't a full 5 stars for me is that a few scenes were a little hard to follow. I found myself rewinding to catch details or better understand what was happening. That might be more on me though, since I’ve only recently started exploring fantasy/romantasy genres this year.

I did love the back and forth, I laughed quite a bit through the book.

In a world full of monsters, shape shifters. Alpha, betas, and many more. Sadie is the first female alpha. After growing up being poor, abused, and neglected, she’s thrusted into the world of alphas. Now she has to learn and train her inner beast. All while dealing with three incredibly handsome alpha men, that love giving her trouble.

Tropes:
Reverse harem
Slow burn
Omegaverse + shifters
Paranormal Bully romance

This dark paranormal romance had me hooked !! It’s packed with lots of action!! Both in and out the bedroom👀

Thank you to the hive, htp books, Harper Collins for this ALC. This was such a fun listen. I loved blood of Hercules and was excited to read more by this author. Can’t wait for the release!

Paranormal romance
Why choose
Morally gray Alphas
Badass heroine
Multi POV

Multicast duet Narration -
Mollie Stark as Sadie
Teddi Hamilton as Cobra
Jeremy York as Ascher
Jamie Lincoln Smith as Jax

The narration was fantastic. Amazing voices.

Action packed shifter paranormal romance with steam. This why choose romance was fantastic I need book two in audio like right now. It does end on a cliffhanger so beware.

The tension and banter is top notch. Sadie is one badass chick and isn’t taking any crap from the three a**hole alphas. Love a strong FMC.
She starts off as a servant but discovers she is actually Alpha and is then taken away to train with Betas and Alphas.

The MMCs are three alphas that are a team in more ways than one iykyk. They aren’t too keen on Sadie but are also obsessed with her. This book does contain spice but not too much with Sadie yet. Hoping for more in book two. The spicy stuff is still very good.

I really enjoyed this book. A little more world building would help but I’m thinking we will get more as the books continue

Well, my horoscope told me to embrace my inner chaos, so naturally, I picked up Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas and devoured it in one day. 🤯

Besties, I literally could not put this down. If you were frothing at the mouth for Blood of Hercules, prepare yourself, because the setup here is super similar.

Tropes I ate up in this one:
* Slow Burn (the kind that makes you feral)
* Why Choose (because who needs just one?)
* Dark & Delicious (just how I like my romance)
* Touch Her And Die (always a favorite!)

Jasmine Mas is officially carving out her niche in the dark and delightfully unhinged corner of my soul, and I'm here for it. This book is pure entertainment. It's a slow burn, yes, but trust me, the anticipation is worth every agonizing minute. I'm now officially frothing at the mouth for book two.

And can we talk about the re-recorded audio with a full cast?! Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York absolutely brought it. Their narration just elevates the whole experience.

Seriously, go read this. Your inner alpha will thank you.

Thank you to Harlequin Audio for the eALC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an alc of the full cast narration in return for my honest opinion. This audiobook was fan-fucking-tastic! If you loved the audio of Blood of Hercules, you will absolutely love this one! Especially since Teddy Hamilton is back!

This is a dark and twisted why choose (MMFM) romance with shifters and a unique take on omegaverse. We get morally gray alphas, a kickass heroine, extreme enemies to lovers, and that dark witty banter and inner monologues that Jasmine Mas is known for. AND THAT ENDING?? What the actual fuck? This book does have some dark scenes and situations, so trigger warnings need to be heeded. Sadie starts out as an indentured servant who is treated EXTREMELY poorly. Once she finds out that she is the first female Alpha and gets sent to a group of Alphas to train, her fierce personality starts coming out and sparks start flying between her and the hot AF males who despise her.

This book does have a slow burn between Sadie and the males, but we know it's coming! (There are some 🔥 scenes between the males though). I'm honestly obsessed with all of three of them and their own very unique personalities.

It usually takes me a week or two to listen to an audiobook but DEVOURED this one in 3 days. It's a top tier performance and the entire cast was absolute perfection! Mollie Stark and Jaime Lincoln Smith are new to me and I greatly enjoyed their performances as Sadie and Jax. Teddy Hamilton and Jeremy York are forever narrator favorites of mine and also loved their performances of Cobra and Ascher, respectively. All four of them brought these characters to life so well that I was literally transported into the book. I literally cannot wait for the next installment!

Thank you so much to Harlequin Audio for the advanced copy! 🖤

🌟 4.5/5 Stars 🌟

Would you enjoy reading a fun, action-heavy paranormal romance why-choose fantasy with three hot AF alpha males? 😏🔥 Yes please!!! Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas has everything—spice, action, character development, and a training scene that totally gives Fourth Wing vibes 🐉💪.

Sadie is such a relatable, fierce MC—I loved her girl-boss energy and refusal to let anyone control her body or her fate 🙅‍♀️👑. This body does contain some DARK scenes, so please read the trigger warnings and take them seriously! Sadie starts off as an indentured servant but once it's discovered she’s actually an Alpha, things get real. She’s sent off to train with a group of Alphas, and that’s when the sparks start flying.💫

While there’s not a ton of spice with Sadie yet (patience, friends!), there is spice with other MMCs, which sets the stage for things to heat up in future books. I’m already obsessed with all three MMCs 😍 and can’t wait to see how the romance builds from here!

My only wish? A little more world-building would help paint the scene better. Parts of this book went really fast, and there are a couple of times when it was hard to keep track of the who, what, when, where, and why. But honestly, Sadie’s first-person POV pulls you in so fast, you barely notice. It’s an immersive ride from page one 📖✨.

🎧 Audiobook listeners, rejoice! The narration is top-tier. Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Jeremy York, and (of course) Teddy Hamilton—aka the audiobook GOD—absolutely crushed it 🎤🙌. The duet narration and distinct voices really bring the story to life. It legit feels like they’re right there in the room with you.

If you're into omegaverse, why-choose romance, or just want to dive into a wild and spicy new world, Psycho Shifters is the perfect gateway into the Cruel Shifterverse 🌕🐺.

10/10 recommend. Let the obsession begin!

Thank you to Netgalley and Jasmine Mas for sharing this book with me!

3.5/5 ⭐️

Thank you to Harlequin audio, Jasmine Mas, and NetGalley for an advance listening copy of this book.

I had a good time with this one, and I went into it knowing it’s more about the spice (there are shifters in it after all), but I hope book 2 will have more substance with the plot. All of the MCs are shifters and there is a war going on between the shifters and fae. It seems like book 2 will have more of a focus on the fae and the war (vs. most of this first book being about shifter training), which I hope is the case.

In terms of the romance/spice, I really liked getting peaks into the MMCs (yes, multiple) points of views to watch their thoughts and opinions on the FMC change, and even have some revelations about their feelings towards her. Then in her POV, you can see how at least some of them start changing their actions and how they treat her (and got that before the very end, unlike another book by the same author I’ve read recently).

Something big happens towards the end of the book that has me intrigued enough to want to continue on with the series, but I think I will wait until the audiobook for the next book is available. I loved the production of this one essentially having a full cast (different voice actors for each of the MMCs in addition to the actor for the FMC)!

I love psycho shifters! And the narration is amazing. The fact that this is a full cast is amazing. So easy to digest and really brought the characters to life!

Such a weird and humorous book, yet so addicting that I WANT to read the next one! This was a book I picked up to branch out a little from what I normally read and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it lol!

I liked the characters for a majority of the book - finding the FMC to be a bit grating at times with her self deprecation and physical description… but it didn’t take away from the reading for me.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this book!
