Jasmine has done it again. I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️She’s become one of those authors if she writes it I buy it. I am now making Sadie’s inner monologue my entire personality. I mean I already tell people if you see me running you should run too because I’m obviously being chased, so what’s a bit more self deprecation 🤷🏻‍♀️. Jax is literally a teddy bear and I’m here for it. I picture Cobra almost like Edward in the sunlight just more color 🤣. N Asher can suck it, however he might like that 🤔. I’m excited to move on to Psycho Fae and see what happens next!

I didn’t enjoy this book unfortunately. It was very repetitive & slow. I can only read how small and fragile the FMC is for so long. Also a lot of vomit scenes?? I couldn’t establish a connection to any of the characters. The narrator’s did a good job, but I couldn’t get into the story.

Spice Rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I really try not to DNF books—especially when I plan to review them—but this one tested my limits. I made it to 57% out of pure stubbornness and denial, hoping things would finally click… but I still had no clue what the actual plot was.
The excessive amount of misogyny and self-deprecation was exhausting, and the writing just didn’t deliver for me. Sadly, I won’t be continuing the series.

I read this book last year and I loved even more the second time around as the audiobook. The narrators did a fantastic job being Sadie, Jax, Cobra, and Asher's story to life.

The dark, sarcastic style humor just really does it for me. Ten out of ten. Infinity stars and beyond.

Jasmine Mas writes it = I will buy and read it or listen to it. And my copy that I preordered of this book came in the mail today so it just brings it around full circle.

This is one I will always want to relive and remember. It holds such a special place in my heart. It's funny, an amazing plot, and such a great story. It's addictive and thrilling all in one. I couldn't get enough of this book either time I was reading it.

The audiobook just really brings it to life and I felt like I was right there with Sadie throughout this book, her story, her life, her journey. Pure romantasy gold. ✨

This is a re-release in duet style with four narrators.

After growing up as an indentured servant, Sadie discovers that she isn’t powerless, instead she is a powerful shifter that is thrown into protecting the realm with the other alpha’s, even if physically she doesn’t look like it. When she first comes to the fort she finds out the other alpha’s are three 6’5” roommates/trainers which are some of the most attractive men that she has ever seen. Sadie has to figure out how to survive training, and get back to protect her sister from their past.

This was my first omegaverse book with the omega, alpha and beta hierarchy, and I enjoyed it. Mas’ writing is engaging and makes me giggle with the internal monologue of Saide. She is very relatable in the fish out of water scenario that she finds herself in. I appreciate the growth that she makes in both her physical and emotional journey through the book. The overall story was entertaining and I listened to this book in under 48 hours. With the four narrators, the listening experience was extremely engaging. I’m glad that this is a completed trilogy so I can continue with the story, but will definitely be listening to the re-releases when they come out.

Thank you to Harlequin Audio, and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Well this was more taboo than I had expected! Whew. Psychotic shifters, angry Alphas, broody Betas and a mysterious cat. There’s an otherworldly fae realm and those fae and their queen have been at war with the shifters for a very long time. Sadie is a lowly servant all her life, thrown into the shifter world unexpectedly on her 20th birthday. She must learn combat, control, and strength in more ways than one. This one has a LOT of MM spicy scenes and was a bit much for me. The storyline was good and overall plot intriguing, but I felt some of the spice could’ve been eliminated, as it didn’t feel like it should be the main focus. Overall, I enjoyed Sadie’s story, but I’m not sure this series is for me and may not continue it with the next book. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting me an ALC. These opinions are my own.

Most people would say it’s the most cliche book ever written. And they will not be wrong. The tiny, so petite, she’s almost see through FMC and the MMC’s hate EVERYONE, including her, but she’s special. With all of this said, sometimes we need a classic reverse harem romantasy, and that’s what I got here. I throughly enjoyed it all. The plot is interesting, the tension is building.

I got an auido book arc for this, and I loved listening to it. Honestly Teddy Hamilton could read a phonebook to me and I’d be happy. But Mollie Stark was great as Sadie, with assertiveness in her tone, but still soft portraying the tiniest FMC. Loved that each of the male characters had their own narrator: Mollie Stark, Teddy Hamilton Jaime Lincoln Smith, Jeremy York.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for providing me with an advanced listener copy of this book.
Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas is the ultimate guilty pleasure read, and one I don’t mind re-visiting over and over again. I originally devoured the entire series in just three days last year, so when the opportunity came up to grab the advanced listener copy, I jumped on it without hesitation. Like many of Jasmine Mas’ books, each installment ends on a cliffhanger, keeping the momentum going strong and the binge-reading energy high. While you won’t find a literary masterpiece here, what you will get is a fast-paced, entertaining story with just the right amount of spice.
The audiobook absolutely elevated the experience. The cast of narrators—Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York—nailed each character perfectly. The dual narration format? Chef’s kiss. It brought so much depth and personality to the story.
The plot centers on Sadie, who has lived her life believing she’s a Nil (someone without alpha, beta, or omega traits), only to discover after testing that she’s actually an alpha. She’s dropped off at an outpost and forced to train with three alpha-holes who refuse to believe she belongs. Sadie is a great mix of tough and vulnerable. She knows her flaws, leans into her sarcasm, struggles with self-doubt, and rolls with the chaos of her miserable reality in a way that makes her incredibly relatable.
The three alphas she’s thrown in with offer a great dynamic. Jax, the strongest of the group, is the first to warm up to Sadie. Cobra, burdened by past trauma, keeps his distance but challenges Sadie to reach her potential. And Ascher? He’s clearly holding something back, giving off major mysterious vibes. The slow burn is painfully slow—but the payoff? Totally worth it. The open-door spice scenes are hot and well-timed, adding a sultry edge to the tension.
If you’re in the mood for a snarky, steamy shifter romance with drama, grit, and addictive characters, Psycho Shifters is a solid pick.

I was SOOOO excited to receive this audio book- it has all the best narrators and I was obsessed with Blood of Hercules. Unfortunately, this story fell a little flat to me. The audiobook is so well done! The narration is top notch and I have zero complaints. They made the book more interesting. However, I just had a hard time getting into the rest of the story or connecting to any of the characters.

The cast of narrators are doing a great job in the new audio version that was just released. Definitely an improvement!

Sadie and her younger sister Lucinda are orphans. They were abandoned at Dick’s tavern when they were young kids, and while Dick liked Lucinda, he always had something against Sadie and beat her often. Sadie is now 20 years old, full of scars and trauma, and after all those years of being nothing more than Dick’s slave, she finally has an opportunity to leave when she is tested on her 20th birthday and discovers that she is an alpha. The first female alpha ever. Sadie is then forced to train with 3 other alphas and to take part in a war against the fae Queen who wants the shifters' lands. If the war and fae monsters do not kill her first, it might very well be the 3 gorgeous, but hateful alphas she now has to live with.
I like this new take on the shifters and Omegaverse. There is the usual classification of Alpha, Betas, and Omegas, with the Alphas being the leaders and war generals, the Betas being the enforcers and the Omegas being the rarest shifters. There are also nulls who are another category, they are the "regular" humans. There is a little twist though: the alphas can shift into a beast form that varies for each person. The alphas and omegas are also immortal, while the betas have an extended life span and the nulls have a regular life span.

There is also more than one realm, the two main realms in this book are the Shifter realm and the Fae realm. A few portals connect them, and those portals are the places where the soldiers and alpha generals are situated because it's where the fae monsters enter the shifter realm to wreak havoc.

Sadie is an awesome main character. She is strong, and so resilient! It was impressive to see what she went through and how she remained strong and determined to have others respect her, in between bouts of nihilism and dark sarcasm. She has her down moments, but she is not one to let others step on her toes, and she also has very colorful language when she is pissed (but she knows how to pick her battles and when just to let go and ignore others). She is snarky and I adored her strength and her interactions with the alphas. She takes no shit from them, and she does not care if they are happy or not with her, she does what she wants now that she is finally free from Dick.

It was a good mix of a badass main character who can hold her own, but who also ends up being in dire situations where she needs the alpha to help or rescue her. Just enough to bring out the protective (and also possessive) side of the alphas. They don't want anything to do with her, and they don't want her to remain at the compound, yet they don't want her to be on her own, and they go crazy and become aggressive if someone else touches her or shows her affection. They will have to man up and admit that they care for her, or let her go on with her life as she sees fit.

Sadie had a tough start with the other alphas. First of all, they don't believe that she is truly an alpha since there has never been a female alpha before, and even when they realize that she is not lying, they let her know that they don't give a shit about her and think that she is a useless girl. The dynamic between the four of them reminded me of the dynamic between Lilah and the pack members in Pack Darling: Part One, and that's probably one of the reasons why I finished this book in one sitting. I just love this mix of snark, angst, and strong-willed characters.

Three alphas are already at the compound Sadie is sent to: Jax, Ascher, and Cobra.
Jax is the leader, the biggest, but also the calmest of the three. He is still a jerk with Sadie at first, but he actually gives her a chance to prove herself every once in a while and does not openly despise her... The fact that he has 5 younger sisters also forces him to be more empathetic and sensible I think, and I love his fierce protector vibe.

Ascher is the newest member of the alpha trio, and he does not like Sadie. At all. All he does is bring her down and insult her, but at the same time, he is obsessed with her and does not know how to deal with it. He has had bad experiences with women and now sees them only as commodities to be used before they use him.

Cobra is the usual grumpy one who does not accept the girl and blatantly shows his disgust and hatred. Somehow there is almost always one like that in the reverse harem series I've read. I have to say though that he is probably the most complex of the three alphas, and even though he is cold as f*ck and an ass with Sadie, he's the one I liked the most. He is a very interesting character, and he kept me on my toes because I never knew what to expect from him. He is also clearly obsessed with Sadie and believes in her enough to let her fight against the fae monsters, but at the same time, he is the one who seems to hate her the most. As I said, a very complex, but interesting character that I hope to see more in-depth in the next book.

This series will be a slow burn, as there is no insta-love or insta-lust at all. Sure the guys are insanely hot, and they are a little obsessed with Sadie, but they are all a long way from being on friendly terms. Jax and Cobra were already involved in a romantic relationship before Sadie came into the picture, so this might become something that is more a polyamorous relationship than a reverse-harem one. Honestly, I would not mind it at all as I think that Cobra and Jax are a good fit together and I always enjoy reverse harem with polyamorous romances.

There is some explicit smut (some FFM, MM, and MF), but it's not the most explicit book I've read. There will most probably be more smut in the following books as this is a slow burn, and the guys are just starting to tolerate Sadie, but I can't wait for more heat and spice between them all.

As I said at the beginning of the review, this is not a perfect book, and I know it is a hit-or-miss in general. Luckily, it was a big hit for me, and I never tire of Sadie’s sass and this addictive and hilarious series.

*Thank you to NetGalley for gifting this ARC audiobook!*

I loved Blood of Hercules so I was very excited to read this one!
The narrators were exceptionally talented in this book. I was immediately drawn into the story and Sadie's resilience really spoke to me.
I loved the aspect of her having to fight for herself and find her worth.
It was a little similar to Blood of Hercules with the trials, combat, and why choose aspect. I still really enjoyed this one!!!

This was a "reread" as I had previously read the whole series a few years ago. I really enjoy Jasmines books, I can't remember who narrated the OGs but I did enjoy this duet narration. So good!

I don’t know why I find Jasmine Mas’s books so incredibly addictive, but I just can’t put them down.

I listened to the re-released ALC with cast, so I’ll review the story and narration separately.

Story:

Sadie is a 20 year old null, a regular human with no powers except her incredible snark and devotion to her younger sister Lucinda who was abandoned at Dick’s tavern. Dick, her guardian, is a beta who hates her, belittles and beats her. When she discovers that she’s the first ever alpha female, she’s taken away from everything to shifter boot camp where she’s forced to train and live with 3 alphas who don’t know whether to hate her or f*ck her. It’s a dilemma. Ascher, Jax and Cobra are her alpha roomies and they’re all the best at being alpha ever.

Some things I’ve come to expect from a Jasmine Mas book:
* lots of trauma and abuse in the FMC’s past. It’s shown on page, so beware your triggers
* FMC is always a bit unhinged. Always.
* FMC is gonna have powers and abilities she’s not aware of that change her life and take her away from someone back home that she loves and protects
* slow burn reverse harem
* some sort of plot twist betrayal at the end that leaves me with SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. It keeps me coming back for more.

The dialogue can be a little cringy, but I couldn’t stop reading. There are signs that Sadie is more than just an alpha, hints throughout of the plot twist at the end, and so many questions about the world and realms that exist. Sadie’s inner dialogue had me laughing out loud multiple times! And I loved her friendship with Aran.

Narration: the narration is 100% in point with one exception. Jax keeps saying “harbingers” with a hard g. This made me insane. It was jarring EVERY time. But the voice acting was really great. Mollie Stark delivered and I loved the humor in her delivery of Sadie’s inner voice. Plus, I will never get enough Teddy Hamilton. Having him voice Cobra and numerous side characters was a joy. Jaime Lincoln Smith does a fantastic job portraying Jax in his leadership role (aside from the unfortunate hard g) and Jeremy York as Ascher makes me love/hate/want to slap the character just like I’m supposed to.

Thanks so much to NetGalley, Harlequin Audio and the author for the ALC. All opinions are my own

I absolutely ate this up! I was lucky enough to get the new audio arc for this, and it was so well done. The duet narration was perfect and I honestly had the best time listening to it. The did such a good job and I feel like their voices matched the characters perfectly. They really brought this book to life. My only complaint is that I have to wait until next year for the next audiobook to come out! I can tell you right now, I’m not waiting that long… I already borrowed the omnibus on Kindle Unlimited because I need to finish the series already.

Now for my review of the actual book:
Sadie is a such a badass and her character is absolutely hilarious. I’m so glad that the book mostly consists of her POV because she carries this entire thing. Don’t get me wrong, the other guys are fiiiiine, but my favorite MMC is Cobra. And not just because of his narrator either—which is Teddy Hamilton btw—although that definitely contributed a little bit.

I thought the plot was unique, especially with the shifters and the multiple realms (that we have yet to learn all about). And the descriptions of the MC’s was so weird, yet cool at the same time? I dig it.

Big thank you to Harlequin Audio for this audio ARC, it was amazing!

Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas, audiobook narrated by Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York, is a Fantasy, Reverse Harem, Enemies to Lovers, Paranormal Shapeshifter Romance

I listened to this all in one go and couldn't stop. It was fast-paced, the FMC was strong, and the MMC's are super grumpy. I won't get into the story with this review since I feel it's best to go in a bit blind to avoid spoilers, but if you enjoy this type of fantasy, jump in.

If you want to know what to expect, here is a little list

Multiple POVs
3 powerful MMC Alpha shapeshifters
A stubborn FMC that doesn't back down
They fall first (MMCs)
Orphan with unknown power
Abuse/Trauma with FMC and MMC
Anger Management Issues
Spicy MM and MF
Touch her and die
MINE
Prophecy
Deception
Spice (not a ton, but what is there might not be for those who don't like it)

I received the ALC from Netgalley and Harlequin Audio in exchange for an honest review. I can't wait for book 2 because it was left with one heck of a cliffhanger.

The narration? Flawless. The story? Kooky, maybe too kooky, and saved a lot by the narration I think.

This book will be for someone but I don’t know if it would be for me if it wasn’t in audio format. It scratched an itch and I’ll probably read the next one because it’s kind of like when you scratch an itch but it just gets itchier, but I won’t be (entirely) happy about it.

Thanks NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for letting me in on this one.

Psycho Shifters follows Sadie as she navigates life, going from being a lowly servant who gets beaten regularly to the world's first female alpha, all while having three male alphas constantly bully her. The story is exciting from the beginning, and the world-building is easy to follow. Although many dark subjects are tackled in the book, they are handled in a respectful manner that doesn't detract from the rest of the story; instead, they add to it in a meaningful way. The only really issue I had with this book is that I wanted more to happen when it comes to the progression of the story, I felt as thought it was all just Sadie getting her footing with the training and standing up to the guys, but I have since realized that this is a 5-6 book series and this The narrators did an amazing job bringing the many characters to life in the audiobook, it really felt like I was in the mind of whoever's POV we were on. I will definitely be continuing with this series. Thank you for the opportunity to listen to the audiobook.

I really enjoy Jasmine Mas’ writing and the humor in her books. From the start I was immediately drawn into the story and blew through the audiobook in no time.

The narration was fantastic and helped make the story even more enjoyable. Safe to say Cobra is my favorite but that might just be because he’s narrated by Teddy Hamilton lol.

I’m not sure I can wait for the next books to come out on audio so I’ll be reading the ebooks. But I’ll definitely grab the audio once released because the narration is too good to pass up!

I had such a good time reading this book! I don't think i've ever laughed so much during a book before. Sadie was the perfect amount of snarky, real, raging woman that I fell so hard and so fast for her! I swear I highlighted at least half her quotes. 😅
I absolutely love my book boyfriends to be alpha-holes and this book delivered 3 perfect ones! 😍
The plot was great and the pacing was perfection. An amazing book one that has me dying to dive into book 2!!

I just LOVE Jasmine Mas writing style! She writes one hell of a RH series! I have read this whole series now and I really enjoyed it! I just listened to the audiobook for the first time and it was a whole new experience!

Cannot recommend her writing enough! Especially if you enjoy paranormal RH romance! This series has found family, touch her and die, he falls first vibes!
