I found Jasmine Mas when I read Blood of Hercules and fell in love with the snarky, self deprecating, sarcastic FMC. Since I loved that book so much I thought I’d give this one a try and so glad I did! This was fantastic! The exact right amount of sarcasm, self deprecation and messed upness to make for a really fun story. Almost everyone in this book is a walking red flag, but in a fun, glad I’m reading about this and that it’s not actually real, so I can laugh without feeling like a horrible person kind of way 😂 I’m finding Jasmine Mas’ may be a must read author for me. This is such a fun read! If you ever have a dark, dry, sarcastic sense of humor, this book will be perfect for you!
The narrator’s did a phenomenal job and absolutely enhanced the story making the whole experience more submersible. The FMC especially was perfect! She nailed the sarcasm and self deprecation and had me literally laughing out loud at her tone and intonations. Just perfect!
Special thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin audio for giving me an audible copy in exchange for my honest review.

Such a fun audiobook and loved having multiple narrators, made it so easy to follow the story and differentiate the characters from one another. The audio production having mixed narration is greatly appreciated!
The book itself is a good time and entertaining, definitely will listen to the second book next year.
Between Blood of Hercules and Psycho Shifters you really get a feel for Mas’ voice within her work and recognize it easily, which is so cool to notice as a reader.

Love the duet style of the audiobook. I love the FMC and her resilience and sass. The 3 MMC are dynamic and intriguing. The twist at the end left me wanting more for sure!

I loved this book!! As a huge fan of Blood of Hercules, I knew I wanted to read more of Jasmine Mas's books, but when I heard Psycho Shifters was coming to audio, I held off until I could get my hands on it. The narrators for BoH were insanely good so I just knew these would be too. And I can wholeheartedly say they delivered! I love the main characters energy and snark and the narrator, Mollie Stark, brought her to life perfectly! The story is so good. Every mmc is voiced to perfection. This was so entertaining the whole time. It's a why choose fantasy romance with tons of tension, humor, action, and heart. I can't wait to read the other books in the series! Thank you to Net Galley for the copy to review!

I was so excited for the audio of this book! The world building is fun and you can’t help but root for the FMC. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Jasmine Mas, and I was so excited to be approved for this audiobook. Without a doubt, every book, Mas has been able to make me laugh out loud so hard I start crying. Psycho shifters is the first book of a why choose shifter omega verse, and although book one doesn’t have that much spice, the inner dialogue definitely helps make up for it. Mas does not hold back.
This is an audiobook review, so I should probably talk about the narrators… This cast is stacked! The FMC narrator doesn’t just speak the words, but she acts them, and she has the raspy voice that Sadie has. It was definitely easy to get lost picturing the book in my head while listening to this one. As for the MMC narrators… Teddy Hamilton and Jeremy York, need I say more? They always do a phenomenal job and this book is no exception. I’m not super familiar with Jamie Lincoln Smith, however, I really enjoyed his voice and style and he really made Jax sound like the sweet and lovable, big alpha that he is.
From the author to the narrators, everyone really knocked this one out of the park for me!

HAHHAAH! I should hate this, but I don’t. This is what ZA wished it could be. 🤣🤣
I’m going to tell you right now that if you don’t like the “oh I’m so small and tiny… and he/they are so big and huge” annnnnnd it being pointed out constantly? You’re going to HATE this 😆😆😆
There is 1000% a misogynistic man.
Bully romance etc.
This was soooo funny too. I found myself laughing over and over again. I ate this up and I cannot wait to read/listen to the next book.
P.s. FULL cast of narrators and it was FANTASTIC!
Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the ALC!

Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.
After reading Blood of Hercules, I really wanted to read more by this author and I am so glad that I picked this up because I really like this series.
I was a little confused about a few things, but I’m sure they’re going to be answered in the second book so I cannot wait. I’m probably going to start it immediately.
I actually laughed out loud so many times in this book. While some things were very cringey (the bathroom scene) most of it was actually pretty funny. I’ll definitely continue the series because it was such an easy read and fun.
Four out of five stars and I would definitely recommend it.

Jasmine Mas does it again with her signature blend of fierce, emotionally complex heroines and broody, alpha men who can’t quite admit their feelings, but oh, do they burn for her. This FMC has been through it, yet continues to rise and show up for herself in the most powerful ways. The sexual tension? Absolutely electric. And that twist and cliffhanger at the end? I was screaming! Book 2 cannot come soon enough.
Also, the duet-style audiobook narration was an absolute highlight. Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York were perfectly cast and brought so much depth and emotion to these characters. Their transitions were seamless, and the chemistry they created through voice alone made the story even more addictive. This was an incredible listening experience from start to finish.

This was… just a hair shy of awful. I’m so sorry. I have read one other Jasmine Mas book (Blood of Hercules) and I think I can say with certainty that her writing just isn’t for me.
I didn’t like any of the characters. All of the MMC’s were so bland. Asher is misogynistic, Jax is just… there? Cobra was the only one who actually interested me and he wasn’t even a big part of the story. Besides being in love with Jax and having a bad past.
Sadie’s whining was beyond frustrating. How many times do we have to hear that you hate running?
As for the audio, the performance was 10/10. The narrators were cast perfectly in my opinion and I loved the full cast duet style.

This story was a fantastic introduction into a fantasy world of far and shifters. The main characters all have some trauma that we are starting to on cover and the twists and turns of the court intrigue is tantalizing. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series because the ending had me hooked.
I read the e-book and listened to the audiobook and both were amazing. The cast of narrators were phenomenal and the story was given the telling it deserved!

This is for the lovers of reverse harems, bully romances, and omegaverse. It’s a little odd, but definitely an enjoyable time.
Thank you Net Galley and the Hive for the ALC.

First, I loved the audiobook. I really like the narration. The story was good. I did order the physical copies for the bookstore I work at and they are so pretty!

Great narration with very distinct voices (loved Cobras!).
Soooo what the heck did I just read, and why do I want to continue the series??
SO MUCH of this is just generic shifter filler, but with very odd choices of modern language (and lots of bathroom and vomiting details- no thanks)

I went into this book knowing only that there were shifters, omegaverse, and why-choose. That checked a lot of boxes for me. The story was so entertaining! I loved Sadie's humor and personality. With all that she went through in her life, it's shocking that she could even still joke.
I have so many theories running through my head about the characters and where the story is going. There's definitely more to what the alphas mean. Speaking of alphas, I like them all for Sadie. Their unique looks and personalities drew me in. I'm so glad this is a why choose series. I would hate for Sadie to have to only choose one. I can't wait to continue this series! It's so addictive. I finished this book too quickly. I highly recommend it!
This audiobook was well produced and easy to listen to. The voices the narrators used fit well with the characters they were portraying. Even the monsters had fun voices that went along with them. I love how Sadie's narrator portrayed her sarcastic humor. It made me love her character even more. The audiobook was a great way to experience the story.

I received the ALC of Psycho Shifters, and it was utterly unhinged and completely fantastic! If you loved the audio for Blood of Hercules, you definitely need to listen to this one as well. It was full cast duet narration by Mollie Stark, Teddy Hamilton, Jeremy York, and Jaime Lincoln Smith, and I couldn’t stop listening to it. All four narrators perfectly brought the characters to life, and I was fully invested in Sadie and her alpha men. It had everything I’ve come to expect from Jasmine Mas’s books: gallows humor, witty banter, a snarky, sarcastic inner dialogue from the heroine, and a dark and twisted why choose romance. I need the next book immediately!
This was set in a brutal and intriguing omegaverse world with alpha, beta, and omega shifters. Sadie has lived a terrible life as an indentured servant and is treated very poorly. Once she turns twenty, she finds out that she is the first female Alpha and is sent to train with a group of three morally grey alphas who don’t trust her and despise her. Sadie is such a great protagonist. She’s sarcastic, a little bit mean, and a total survivor. Jax, Cobra, and Asher couldn’t be more different from each other, but I’m in love with all of them. Their personalities complement each other perfectly, and they are all feral over Sadie and are completely obsessed with her. I couldn’t get enough of their dynamic.
If you’re looking for a dark, intense, why choose romantasy with complex, morally grey characters, power struggles, forbidden romances, inappropriate humor, unhealthy coping mechanisms, and a high-stakes world filled with danger, deception, and betrayals, go read this one right now. Also, go buy the new edition with sprayed edges because I was lucky enough to be sent a copy, and it is stunning!
Thank you to HTP audio, the Hive, Mira Books & Canary Street Press, HTP, Jasmine Mas, and NetGalley for the ALC.

Thank you to NetGalley for this gifted audiobook ARC in exchange for my honest review. I appreciate it!

This book is pure chaos.. in the best way. Jasmine Mas delivers exactly what I expect every time: something that feels like binge-worthy reality TV in book form. It’s messy, unhinged, spicy, and downright entertaining.
Summary:
Sadie is a shifter with a brutal past and a monstrous secret—literally. Thrown into a world of elite alpha shifters who underestimate her at every turn, she’s forced to survive, adapt, and eventually show everyone just how deadly she can be. Between battling inner demons and external threats, Sadie’s sarcastic, self-deprecating humor is what kept me cackling through the carnage.
She didn’t choose her psycho roommates (Jax, Ascher, and Cobra), but now she’s stuck with them, even and let’s just say, they’re tattooed, horned, possessive, and emotionally damaged. So naturally, we love them.
Tropes:
• Reverse Harem / Why Choose
• Bully Romance
• Fated Mates
• Found Family (the unhinged variety)
• Monster Girl / Shifter Lore
• Slow Burn
• Forced Proximity
• Enemies-to-Lovers energy
• OmegaVerse-inspired dynamics
This isn’t trying to be high literature and that’s the point. Go in for the vibe. The spice is real, the blood flows freely, and somehow in the middle of it all, there’s heart.
The narrators for Psycho Shifters truly brought the story to life with their dynamic and emotionally charged performances. Each character was given a distinct voice and personality, making it easy to get swept up in the chaos, chemistry, and danger of the world they inhabited. The tension, heat, and dark humor were amplified through their delivery, elevating the already gripping story into a fully immersive experience. Whether it was a whispered threat or a growled confession, the narrators captured every nuance, pulling listeners deep into the twisted world of the Shifter Psycho Academy. Their performance didn’t just tell the story; it unleashed it.
If you love chaotic alpha energy, a badass heroine in disguise, and books that don’t take themselves too seriously, Psycho Shifters delivers. It’s violent, funny, hot, and a little bit unhinged. And honestly? I’m here for it.

What a fantastic audio version of an already AMAZING series!
Thank you to the author, NetGalley, & Harlequin Audio for the audioARC in return for an honest review!
I would first like to say that I am a huge Jasmine Mas fan and if you haven't already read "Blood of Hercules," then you have done yourself a disservice and you should already by on Amazon or your Library online catalogue getting your copy NOW. She is a fantastic writer with BIG worlds and characters that you will remember months after reading the book. Mas's "Psycho Shifters" series has been out for a while now, but I am thrilled that she is finally moving them into an audio version. The narrators, Mollie Stark, Jamie Lincoln Smith, & Teddy Hamilton were fantastic and spot on for the emotion and level of snark and sarcasm that is essential in Mas's characters. This is what makes her books so good, and the voice artists nailed it.
If you do not enjoy bigger than life, flawed MFCs and morally gray alpha MMCs all vying for the same woman, but also a bit of bully kink (okay more than a bit), than this may not be the series for you. If that is your bag baby, then don't just get the first book to see if you like it...get them all. Please see any trigger warnings beforehand; there are a few in this series.
No Regrets!!!!
5 outta 5

4.5 ⭐ 1.5 🌶️ 5 🎧
I'll be honest, I picked this up because in my sleep deprived state, I thought it was Jaymin Eve... The next morning I was like Oh, okay... But thankfully I regret nothing, because I absolutely loved this story. The characters, the story and the world are all fantastic. And while this first book isn't super spicy, I just know it's gonna get hot hot hot as the series moves on.
Sadie is so incredibly strong. I absolutely loved her attitude and resiliency and the way she handled herself. The twist regarding who she really was in the beginning was fantastic and I loved watching the Alpha men react to her.
I'm really excited for book two to come out on audio. This one was amazing with Mollie Stark, Jamie Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York as our cast. They all did such a wonderful job and I loved this listen.
Thank you so much to Harlequin Audio for this advanced copy!
