I've been slumping lately, and this audio just cured me. Within 24 hours, I'm already 60% into book 3 of this series and loving it. I was a little hesitant at first because I'm not the biggest fan of wolf shifter books, but none of the main characters are wolf shifters, and I clearly went all in. The best part of why choose is not having to pick a favorite because I really couldn't for these guys. I love when there's MM in the why choose as well, and the relationship between Jax and Cobra just makes sense with how opposite their personalities are. I love Sadie's personality as well, she's super funny and relatable to me despite the shifterverse being super unrelatable.
The narrators for this were SO GOOD. I loved that there was one for every character, and I was fully immersed and listened straight through. Despite finishing the series on KU, I will definitely be looking forward to a re-read when the next audios come out!

It’s my own fault going in blind to this book as I’m not a big fan of why-choose, so take my review as a grain of salt. I know Jasmine Mas of her other works & quite honestly the cover was stunning so I ran for it.
Unfortunately this book did not resonate with me, trope aside, the FMC was not clicking and I started getting annoyed when she stepped back into the picture.
Lots of repetition in here which also threw me off. I feel like I got details of things I didn’t care for details of and not enough details of things I actually cared about.
It’s a quick read/listen but not for me.

Okay… This book was so weird but so addicting. Jasmine Mas knows exactly how to deliver a reverse harem/why-choose romantasy that has you on the edge of your seat and ignoring your responsibilities. And of course her signature touch... the boyfriends are boyfriends. And I ate that up.
Set in a gritty omegaverse world full of alphas, shifters, and fae, Psycho Shifters gives us Sadie: a tiny, traumatized, saber tooth tiger shifter who also happens to be the first-ever female alpha. She’s fierce, vulnerable, and totally in charge of her three protective (and extremely territorial) alpha shifter warriors. I adored up every moment of their devotion to her. They call her “princess,” they guard her like treasure, and their possessiveness? You can't beat that.
The plot? Shifters vs fae war with secret betrayals (I’m STILL shook about that!), and a twist I did not see coming. It’s also a slow burn in the romance department but with lots of forced proximity, alpha dynamics, and of course... TONS of sexy moments.
Bonus points for Teddy Hamilton’s voice in the audiobook. Yes, that was a treat I did not know I would get to taste today.
Recommended for anyone who liked: Pucking Around, Blood of Hercules, and Crescent City.

I was given a free audiobook of this title in exchange for an honest review. Thank you, Netgalley, for this audiobook.
Psycho Shifters follows Sadie as she uncovers her alpha shifter power and the trials she faces as the first ever female alpha, as they battle the evil fae. This book is perfect for those who love reverse harem and bully romance. I was surprised by the lack of romantic action that Sadie experiences in this first book, but it does make sense for her character. The ending was surprising and definitely leaves you wanting more, so great for anyone who enjoys series!
The full cast of narrators was awesome, and they all did a great job bringing the characters to life. The female narrator also did a great job of making Sadie's voice raspy as described in the book.

This audiobook was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how we had a full cast narration for Sadie and her alphas, and all the narrators were literally perfect. I could not stop listening. This audiobook was a reread for me, and I have all of my fingers and toes crossed that this cast will return for books two and three!

I loved the book and gave it a 4.75 but now having listened to the audio book took it to a 5 for me. All the things I loved about the physical copy were just amplified now that they were being described by voice actors. The humor and banter just hit so much harder when there is a real person delivering them and the scenes really came alive. This book has 4 narrators! And they each did an amazing job, but I have to say my favorite actor is the one who did Cobra's voice (sorry I don't know which actor it was) but he just seemed to embody Cobra, and I hope with the next book if they do another audiobook, they bring him back bc he gave me chills.
I loved this as a physical, but the audio was just the cherry on top.
I received this as an ALC from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I knew I was in for a wild ride with this one but nothing prepared me for the chaos, the spice, or the sheer power this main character brings. 😤✨
She’s underestimated by everyone especially the three towering, horned, tattooed shifters she’s forced to train with but watching her rise, fight, and prove herself? Addictive. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
If you love dark paranormal romance, a touch of monster heat, and strong, savage female leads who don’t back down, Psycho Shifter needs to be on your shelf.
Let’s just say… that shift scene? I felt that.
🖤 I’m obsessed. Jasmine Mas did not come to play.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. I started this book and almost DNFed because it was different than what I was expecting and wasn't in the mindset. I restarted it on audio and am glad I did. The narrators did a great job, and I ended up enjoying the story. I will definitely be reading the next book. I need to know what happens next.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Addicting with a Bite of Sass
Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas surprised me in the best way. I loved that it brought together two of my favorite fantasy elements—fae and shifters—into one chaotic, drama-filled ride.
The narrator absolutely nails the main character Sadie’s dark humor and smartass personality. Her delivery really brings the character to life, and honestly, it’s one of the highlights of the book. That said, I did find it a little annoying how often Sadie is described as weak or small—it felt repetitive after a while.
The pacing dragged a bit at times, but overall it was a fun, easy read. And somehow, it was completely addicting—I didn’t want to stop until I hit the end. The sneak peek of the next book? HILARIOUS. I’m already looking forward to diving into book two.
If you’re into sarcastic heroines, supernatural chaos, and don’t mind a few pacing hiccups, this one’s worth the read!
Thank you Netgalley for the ALC

This is one of my all-time favorite series and Sadie is tied for my favorite FMC ever with Aran. This book has everything you want in a fun shifter series: hidden powers, a hilarious FMC with dark self-deprecating humor, why choose, and fast pacing that keeps you engaged from start to finish. I just listened to the new audiobook as well and it was SO FUN: duet style narration with a full cast - cannot recommend enough. This is a series I will reread over and over again and never get tired, it's just that good. If you've been on the fence about reading this series, this is your sign to go for it!

The book itself gets a three but the audio gets a five. The narrators truly brought the story to life and even with the issues I have with the book itself it was a truly enjoyable listening experience. I would definitely seek out books these narrators have done to listen to.

I consider myself blessed because this audiobook was my introduction into the Cruel Shifterverse trilogy. I planned on getting to Psycho Shifters.. so when the all new audiobook popped up, of course, I had to request it! And I am SO GLAD I DID.
Not one, not two, not three, BUT FOUR narrators (Mollie Stark, Jamie Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton and Jeremy York) who absolutely ate up the narration of Psycho Shifters and left ZERO crumbs. I read along on KU and I don’t think my inner-monologue could’ve even touched the level of intensity that was brought by those four. While it’s super intense, brutal and dark.. Sadie brings a level of humor that had me cracking up more than once. We all love some comedic relief and unhealthy coping mechanisms sometimes. 😂
Psycho Shifters is a dark (heavy on the dark, watch your triggers 🖤 this one is deep in the bully side of things) paranormal reverse harem. The spice is SPICIN in this one (MMM/MMFM). I was listening to it with my eyes wideeeee open and blushing like 99% of the book. 😮💨
The ending had me SHOCKED. I literally was like, “No, tell me it’s not trueeeee. 😭😭” but the next book is out so I am immediately jumping in to see what the heckkkk just happened.

Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas (Audiobook + New Edition)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Okay, so, Jasmine Mas did it again. I devoured the audiobook of Psycho Shifters and was instantly hooked from the growl-worthy first chapter to the unhinged, chaotic shifter drama that followed. If you loved Blood of Hercules (like I did), this is another reverse harem dream that does not disappoint. Sadie is amazing! She's the FMC with claws, trauma, and alpha energy that takes zero crap, and I loved every second of her rise. Jax, Cobra, and Ascher are each phenomenal and terrible in their own rights. The tension? The banter? The feral vibes? Chef’s. kiss.
Can we take a moment for the new edition dropping June 24? It. Is. STUNNING. I preordered it months ago just to display it and whisper sweet nothings to the cover. :) Haha!
Audiobook listeners, this one is so good! The narration adds so much grit and emotion. You’ll be pacing your kitchen, gasping mid-dishes, and wondering how fast you can get to book two.
Warning: You may experience uncontrollable grinning, aggressive bookmarking of spicy scenes, and a sudden need to challenge the local alpha.

1.5 Stars
So I think I actually hated this lol I don’t see the appeal in any of the alphas and I actually found them to be a bit problematic. Sadie annoyed me so much and had me rolling my eyes most of this book because of course she’s just not like the other girls… I really enjoyed Blood of Hercules by this author so I didn’t think I’d hate this as much as I did but I will stick to that series and probably not continue this one.
Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the ARC!

Thank you to Harlequin Audio @htp_hive @htpbooks Jasmine Mas for the #gifted ALC/ARC for an honest review. #hiveinfluencer
I listened to this audiobook and it was so good! Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton and Jeremy York did such a fantastic job. I love when each main character gets a narrator, it helps me differentiate between all the characters and it makes listening a lot more fun.
I really liked Sadie. I loved her inner monologue and how she was sarcastic. She was also very strong and independent. Sadie endured years of abuse. She knew what she had to do to survive and would get into a certain mindset when it came time for her training. I loved when she would prove the alpha males wrong. I knew she’d get a badass shifter form.
There are three alphas that Sadie has to room and train with, Jax, Ascher and Cobra. They each have their own personality and relationship with Sadie. I, personally, loved Jax the most. He was the one to warm up to Sadie the quickest and was very protective of her. As time went on, all the alpha males saw who Sadie truly was and it made them all become protective of her. They each have their own stories and backgrounds that I hope we get more into in the next book.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I am very excited to read the rest of this series, especially since this one ends with a cliffhanger. I would recommend it if you enjoy the omegaverse and shifters. If you’ve read Blood of Hercules, this does have a similar feel to it in the beginning. So, if you enjoyed that book, I’m sure you’d enjoy this one as well.

This message is for Jasmine Mas and Jasmine Mas only.
Ma’am THIS AUDIOBOOK WAS ADDICTIVE. I could not stop listening. The narrators? Absolute chef’s kiss. The story? Obsession level. We’ve got tension, banter, shifters and not just any shifters, but fine ones. The duet narration was flawless, and I genuinely fell in love with every single alpha. Why choose, right?
Psycho Shifters follows a girl thrown into a world of secrets, danger, and three powerful shifters who don’t make her life easy… at first. If you’re into enemies to lovers, slow-burn tension, and that delicious banter, you need to read and listen to this one ASAP. So. Freaking. Good.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this audio ARC!
If you loved Blood of Hercules (like I did), you'll love Psycho Shifters. It has the same sarcastic FMC, and a bunch of broody MMCs. This one right out of the gate is much spicier, including all MMM. It has twists, turns, and things I didn't see coming. Built in a unique world of shifters, Mas has managed to combine a lot of feelings, spice, and humor into this dark romantasy. I need book two yesterday!!

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for this ALC. I listened to it twice because that ending could not have been the ending. I need the next books immediately.
Mollie Stark; Jaime Lincoln Smith; Teddy Hamilton; Jeremy York- the performers. I LOVE TEDDY HAMILTON. I am new to the other three; they were all good. My only thing (and this is more on me and I own it!)… I listen at a 2.0-2.5 speed. The performer for Jax, I did have to slow down to 1.5. It made me laugh (at myself and my impatience).
As for the story, here are some thoughts I had while listening:::
The shifter is bejewelled?
Sadie is my spirit animal, pun not intended.
How many piercings? Eek.
Let me at those Sadie haters. I’ll mess them up.
Cobra. Sheesh. Cobra. Is this Teddy narrating? Well, IYKYK.
Jax? TBD.
Ascher. Hmmm.
How many piercings? How does that work?
Second time through is FUN.
The touch her and die- fawk.
Annoyed at them calling Sadie, Princess.
They can smell each other… cranberries.
Twins. Pass.
Maybe being the filling in a Cobra/ Ascher sandwich would be- um, nm.
Jax is sooooo Coach from New Girl! That’s the reason I don’t care for him. Makes so much sense now.
Sadie on the toilet. Ha! (Not funny haha, ha as in fuck, I sympathize)
The homicidal rage inner voice. Love it. Seriously, love it.
SQUEEE SQUEEEE SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Dressmakers!!!
How short is Sadie’s dress? How tall are those heels?
Fizzy drinks. They saw how many richards on display or in use at this party.
Hmmm. I bet (blank) is (blank).
Tiny. Closet. Fire!
Called that “plot twist”.
I forgot about the prophecy… interesting.
WAIT! Just, WAIT. What?! That’s the ending? Are you serious?! How dare you!!!

This book was such a great time. I am a big fan of Jasmine Mas after Blood of Hercules so when I saw this I was so excited. And it didn’t disappoint.
This story was crazy in the best way. A lot of twists and turns but the humor is were it is at. If there is one thing I love about Jasmine Max writing it the characters. Sadie is a strong willed, hilarious, badass main character. I loved her sassiness. And all of the Alphas are clearly defined characters with their own issues. While there isn’t as much spice and you would expect ( there is some MM action) I need to see where this series goes.
However the best part of this was the narration. It brought this book to the next level! Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York all absolutely delivered an incredible performance. Definitely one of the best audiobooks of the year for me. I would definitely recommend this for the narration and the craziness alone.
Thank you to NetGalley, Jasmine Maas, and Harlequin Audio for the ALC.

Wow! This audio blew me away! As usual, Jasmine Mas’ writing is easy to follow and engaging. Reverse harem sure is a fun time! I can’t wait to read/listen to the next one!
