I’d like thank NetGalley & Harlequin for the audio copy of this book. I am forever thankful and my review is a honest reflection of my feelings towards this book.
So, first and foremost I had read this book previously but I for sure got a different point of view with the Audio book.
The narrator brought Sadie’s trauma sarcastic as hell fiesty but to life. Jasmine knows how to bring to a vicious world to life. It’s for sure dark and brutal but I was hooked from the opening scene.
This book is spicy and raunchy but in a balance that a lot of authors can’t accomplish.
I would for sure recommend this book but will give a healthy warning that this book has a lot of dark topics but if that doesn’t bother you, jump right in!

Such a fun read! I went into this book fairly blind with just friend recommendations. The pacing at which the world building was doled out made it a very intriguing way to figure out what was going on.
The narrators were all phenomenal. While it was done as a duet style, the combination of voices felt clunky at points. There were also many points where the volume was not consistent, like a line was spliced in as a correction or something.

I’m going to be honest, the reason I wanted to read this one was because my friend sent me a TikTok about this series that was recommended as Why Choose and done really well. SOLD.
When I saw the narrator lineup, I was even more excited! I’m new to shifter/omegaverse books so I didn’t know what to expect with that sub-genre but I’m here for it! The protective "alphahole" vibes are equally frustrating and enticing at times, honestly, but each MMC is alluring in their own way that makes you want MORE. They’re not the typical shifters I’ve heard about in other books either. They each have their own unique body characteristics that get your mind going with all the fun ways they could be explored. *wink*
The FMC, Sadie, is seriously a badass from the very beginning and gets even better and stronger as she manifests her true abilities.
This book was also HILARIOUS. I found Sadie’s inner thoughts to be SO relatable and I laughed out loud several times.
Be sure to check the trigger warnings for some dark content and beware it leaves you on a cliffhanger. I’ll definitely be continuing the series!

Thoughts:
- The narrators fit the characters perfectly and were extremely enjoyable to listen to. The FMC’s character, in particular, played up the dramatics perfectly - just enough, but not too much 👌 Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Jeremy York, & Teddy Hamilton
- The vibe of the book and the universe created by the author is a little out there, but it definitely had my interest and needed to find out the answers to some of the mysterious questions that kept popping up!
- The enemies to lovers dynamic holds true for most of the book and it leaned a little bully once in a while, but I felt like it rode that line really well. It never crossed over into them being so mean to Sadie that it would be unforgivable for me.
- As Sadie came into herself and started to make friends, I really appreciated those side characters 🥰
- Sadie kept concussing herself and that felt ridiculous to me 😂🤦♀️
This is nothing like the plot of Zodiac Academy, but the vibe of it is a bit similar to me in a good way. It has a lot of the positives of ZA, but not some of the things I didn’t like about it. I’m pretty anxious to continue the series and see where things go!
Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the advance copy 💝 Available now!

Love this story. I can’t wait for the next chapter of this story. Will we know if they are friend or foe it’s about to on and popping in the next book.

My first read of Psycho Shifters was as soon as I finished Blood of Hercules, which let's be clear, is and will continue to be one of my top reads of 2025. Psycho Shifters has been out since 2022, and I had seen SO MANY REVIEWS and comments about how hilarious it is (specifically in audiobook) over the years. Once I finished this, I was kicking myself for waiting so long to start this journey. Psycho Shifters gives everything I loved about Blood of Hercules: RIDICULOUS jokes, hot, hot men, a badass FMC, and a great plot! These books are fast paced, entertaining, and FUNNY. And the narrators did such a fantastic job!
I recommend Jasmine Mas to fans of the Twisted Sisters all the time. Perfection.
"The fact that I don’t have a d*ck doesn’t mean I’m any less likely to slit your throats if you treat me like shit. I can learn to piss standing up too, f&#(ers."

If you loved The Bonds That Tie series, this book should be next on your list!
I was lucky enough to get an ALC from Harlequin, and I absolutely LOVED it. The voice acting was incredible—each character had their own narrator, and the duet narration style made it even more immersive. It pulled me right into the story and didn’t let go.
Sadie’s character really stood out to me. She’s been through so much, and you can feel how it’s shaped her into someone stronger and more resilient. I also adored Cobra and Jax—not only were they their own thing (which I LOVED), but the way they were protective of each other was everything. Their bond felt deep and real.
And can we talk about that ending?! I did not see it coming. Like—WHAT?! I need book two immediately.
The magic system was super unique and refreshing, and each character had such a distinct personality. I also really appreciated how inclusive the story was, especially with its LGBTQ+ representation. It felt natural and meaningful, and it made me care about all of the characters even more.
This book had it all—emotion, action, magic, representation, and a twisty plot that left me begging for more.

Absolutely love this series. If you are looking for a why choose paranormal/fantasy read with hilarious kick a** FMCs you have to give this a try. This series has all the tropes you could ever want!

Audiobook Review – Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
Psycho Shifters was a wild ride from start to finish. The audiobook format elevated the entire experience—the narrators captured the tension, chaos, and chemistry of the story perfectly. Each character had a distinct voice and presence, making it easy to stay immersed in the fast-paced, unhinged world Jasmine Mas has created.
This story has all the elements I love in a paranormal romance: dominant, morally grey shifters, a fierce and witty heroine, and intense enemies-to-lovers energy with a dark twist. It’s feral, addictive, and impossible to pause. Fans of reverse harem dynamics and high-stakes paranormal drama will devour this.
Highly recommend for listeners who crave bold characters, unpredictable plots, and audiobooks that feel like an experience, not just a story.

My thoughts:
📚This was an enjoyable start to a RH omegaverse shifter romance, clearly laying the groundwork for bigger things to come.
Sadie is small, feisty, and commands attention with a fierceness. Her traumatic past has left deep emotional and physical scars, and the story does a great job peeling back those layers at a steady pace. She’s just beginning to tap into her potential, and she’s definitely destined for something huge. Being the first of her kind adds a unique twist, and her refusal to take any nonsense from her new roommates brings plenty of spark and sharp banter.
Each of the heroes brings something unique to the table, and they’re all intriguing in their own right. I loved the dynamic forming between them and Sadie which created some great tension and banter. The slow burn here is almost agonizing! I have a feeling things are about to ignite in book two and I’m ready for it!
Overall, this is a strong setup for the series, and I’m excited to see what’s next for this pack.
🎧 I thought this cast did an excellent job bringing the story to life! Mollie really shined as Sadie, capturing her wit and sass with ease. Her delivery added just the right amount of snark, energy, and pain and made her feel relatable and yet fierce.
I love a multicast audio when there are multiple main characters to a story like in an omegaverse. Each guy had a distinct voice, which helped define their character and personality. I thought they did a great job in their performances adding depth to the pack and individual relationship.

I was excited to read this after Blood of Hercules. I thought the narrators were amazing. The writing I found cringey at some times but it kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat. I’m excited to see what happens next.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas was AMAZING! I literally laughed out loud several times throughout the story. It has action; it has banter; it has tension; it has shifters. Fantasy paranormal books are not my first choice to read, but this one (more to come!) could change my mind.
The audio was FANTASTIC! The narration by Mollie Stark, Jaime Lincoln Smith, Teddy Hamilton, and Jeremy York could not have been better! I hope all of these stories will be narrated by them; they were WONDERFUL!
NetGalley and Harlequin Audio, thank you so much for this audiobook. I truly ADORED it!

I just listened to the new multi-cast duet style audiobook. The narrator performances are fantastic and I my have screamed over where the cliffhanger leaves you.
I am now obsessed with the series and can't bring myself to wait 6 months for the re-release of book 2 so I'm off to read the print version so I can satisfy my need to know what happens. But I will definitely be listening to the next audiobook when it come out because this seems like a series I will enjoy revisiting

This audiobook is everything. A 4 person cast duet narration with Teddy Hamilton? Absolutely phenomenal. When this book came out, I dropped everything I was reading to start this book because Blood of Hercules is my ultimate comfort book. Jasmine's humor is next level, and her FMCs are so relatable. There is also always at least one MMC that I become obsessed with (and I already know mine). This is definitely a vibe read, meaning that you should go into this expecting to laugh and have a good time, rather than receiving some serious piece of literature. And while I love both, this is just something I can read again and again.
This book starts out with the FMC Sadie living her whole life as a servant, only to then realize she is a shifter. She is forced to join a pack of alphas that do not welcome her, especially as the only girl in their group. This book can be considered to be a bully romance a majority of the book. However, while I do not usually like bully romances. this author writes her characters, plot, and humor so well that I never care. Her books are truly the epitome of "who did this to you?"
The book, of course, ended on a brutal cliffhanger and I am crying for the next book ASAP!! I already know it's going to be amazing. Rating book and audiobook 5/5!

Really enjoyed the duel narration audiobook for this one. The FMC is hilarious and the tension makes the (little taste of) spice that much better 😍

I want to say that I've already read this book physically and was blown away by the world, story and the characters and after listening to the audiobook, it's still just as good, possibly even better.
I missed being in this world, and Jasmine Mas was actually the first author who introduced me to the world of paranormal romance, specifically dark paranormal romance, and now I'm obsessed.
This series is phenomenal, and I will most definitely be listening to all the following books as soon as they're released. The casting for each character is perfect and EXACTLY what I imagined they sounded like. I am so ready to be back into this series!!

Thank you to HTP and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
I fear that Jasmine wrote Sadie from my thoughts because her and I are almost the exact same. LOL. I couldn’t wait to dive into this one after falling in love with Blood of Hercules and it did not disappoint! I had so much fun listening to this! The narrator’s were great. I enjoyed how well they meshed. It made the story that much more enjoyable. I love how they did a full cast. It brought the story to life.
I love a why choose and the representation in this one was excellent! But that ending? I’m suing for emotional distress. I need the next one ASAP!

I absolutely LOVED this book. I had the opportunity to go on a little road trip last week and purposefully kept this audio book for it. I listened to the whole thing on the drive up and eat it up. The FMC had me laughing out loud. I loved the FMC’s inner dialogue, her spunk and honestly badassness. Plus all the MMC’s 🥵. I already wish book two was an audio book but I can wait to start reading it, because that cliff hanger!! I need to know what happens. I love Jasmine Mass writing and can’t wait to read more of her work!

Thank you NetGalley & Harleyquin Audio for the opportunity to listen to the first installment in the Cruel Shifter ease!
I’m obsessed with jasmine mas’ work and I swear I’m a life long fan! She could write about the history of the garbage bag and I would read it lol
I really enjoyed the unhinged possibly mentally unstable fmc’s that she loves to write, listening to each character was absolutely amazing and perfect! The story was fluid and beyond easy to follow but still had its little plot twists. The men were all to die for, i looooved Asher the most but thankfully its a why choose so I don’t need to pick ;) Sadie was great, her story, her trauma, and how much of a strong character she is had me hooked from the start!

Teddy Hamilton is a standout narrator for me. Whenever he’s involved in a book, I’m all in. His performance in this audiobook was amazing and definitely made the experience that much better. Mollie also did an amazing job at voicing Sadie's emotions and thoughts.
As for the story, it was… okay. The plot revolves around Sadie, who’s been abused by her caretaker before being sent to a "boot camp/military camp" filled with Alpha and Beta guys. I couldn’t help but feel like I was reading a never-ending cycle of Sadie getting her ass kicked, and at times, I just wanted to shout, “Give this girl a break already!” On the flip side, she does dish out some punishment too.
Also, I tried SO hard to keep a straight face during the part where Sadie talks about her watery bowels. LOLOLOL.
Overall, I really enjoyed the audiobook, and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the ALC.
