Thank you, Entangled Publishing, LLC | Entangled: Red Tower Books, for sending me over this ARC. 💫🖤
This book captivated me just like the first two. It was effortless to re-enter this world and connect with the characters. The storyline was perfectly structured for a trilogy - I enjoyed the pacing, shortish chapters, and multiple POV style. This trilogy is heavy on themes of deception, betrayal, and tested loyalty. The series' heart remains centered on the concept of "found family" and love, which easily resonated with me. Without giving away details, I think the ending was fitting for the series in a way, totally get why the author did it, but also don't love that open-ended feeling, either. Maybe there is a goal to do some kind of spin-off series??
I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy. This is a great series for dabbling in this genre.

*As always, all thoughts are my own! xx

I can’t wait until my copy arrives!!! The first three chapters got me hooked!!! I want to see what happens next.

The world Mai Corland has created in this series is so unique and from this little glimpse into book 3 I can tell it will be just as amazing as the other two books!

absolutely LOVED this book!!! such a perfect end to a fantastic series, I can't wait to see what this author writes next.

The preview of this book was amazing and made me so excited to read the full thing! This series has kept me hooked from the beginning and I’m so excited to find out what happens next!

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel going into this one, especially after what happened to one of my favorite characters in the last book… but it ended up surprising me in a good way.
The story had more emotional weight than I expected, and I found myself getting pulled back into the world pretty quickly. There’s a lot of tension, some great character moments, and a sense of things starting to shift in big ways. I didn’t love every part, but I appreciated how the author handled the complex relationships and darker themes.
Overall, it was a solid read and I liked it more than I thought I would. 3.5 stars for me

This preview definitely had me wanting the full novel! After the first two books, I am glad to have the conclusion in my hands and to finish the story. These characters have developed and grown since they started out as Blades.

The truth doesn’t always set you free, it can hurt the ones you love. Deceit and deception are everywhere. Who can you trust?
These are just a few of the things that’ll draw you into this richly woven journey that Mai Corland takes you on and will have you turning page after page to know more.

I did not like this one as much as the first two and that’s disappointing. I feel like Corland focused much more on Aeri and her storyline and allowed the others to fall to the wayside, especially at the end. Royo's ending was so lackluster and kind of hopeless that it felt like an injustice to him. I did not like how we left Sora and Tiyung’s relationship especially given how much it changed in the first book and that he was separated from the group for so long. Mikail broke my heart many times and I’m glad he got to have a sort of resolution with Euyn (even though I still stand by my Euyn hatred). But I feel like fallador was forgotten about or provided for the last book as just a useless red herring for mikail’s future. And the resolution of the kingdoms and who ruled happened with in two pages which felt anticlimactic and rushed for a trilogy. The resolution of Aeri and Royo’s storyline didn’t really make sense to me either I kind of thought it would be the other way around. Overall this was a bit of a let down but I do still like this series.

What an amazing start to the third book in this series! I was unsure how this final book was going to go for me. I absolutely adored Five Broken Blades but Four Ruined Realms lost me a bit. Three Shattered Souls brings me back in with fast paced, exciting ending to this trilogy. Can not wait to read it in full.

Great preview! I especially appreciate how these books give a character list and quick recap at the start, makes it easy to pick up the narrative again. Looking forward to getting a copy so I can finish!

This is such a great start to the book! I cannot wait to continue reading it! Thank you for the sneak peak.

This is a very good start and I’m curious to see how the story progresses. Thank you so much for letting me get a sneak peek of the next book.

This is a powerful and emotional conclusion to the trilogy. I was completely drawn in by the high-stakes plot, shifting alliances, and the raw grief that shaped the characters. The Blades’ return to Yusan, facing a dangerous usurper and nearly impossible odds, felt intense and well-earned. I loved how Corland balances action with deep, multi-POV character development, especially Aeri, Royo, Mikhail, and Sora, whose growth was both heartbreaking and inspiring. The dark humor and sharp dialogue made even the most painful moments feel authentic. This finale delivered on every level: betrayals, redemption, and emotional payoffs. If you enjoy found family, political intrigue, and morally grey heroes, this is a must-read. I’ll deeply miss this world.

PARTIAL ARC REVIEW ✨
The near devastation I experienced when I realised that this ARC was a partial copy containing the first few chapters only 😂
I absolutely binged Five Broken Blades and Four Ruined Realms and then was ready to devour this one - I literally resent it to my e-reader 4 times before accepting and realising that it was only a partial ARC and that no, it did not download incorrectly. That is how good this series is.
Those first few chapters - boy was I needing to know where this book is headed 😱. The multiple POV approach the story takes leads to a mini cliffhanger after close to every chapter, but at the same time you are so invested in all the characters that you are both screaming that one chapter ended and you don’t know what is happening to that character, but also needing to read the next completely different POV chapter because you’ve already dealt with not know that happened to these characters when a previous chapter ended. It’s an emotional roller coaster that keeps you glued to the pages!
A huge thank you to the amazing author Mai Corland, Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with a partial ARC of Three Shattered Souls in exchange for my honest review (even if the partial ARC was imho a form of torture!). I absolutely ordered the matching sprayed edges to complete my set as soon as it was released!

Thank you NetGalley for the arc preview of the first few chapters.
We are brought directly in to the action where we left off in the previous book so there is no lull to try and get in to things. It’s paced well and quick turning. I am especially fond of the “previously on” page in the beginning for those who haven’t recently read the books and need that bit of grounding before going in to the book

Three Shattered Souls is a gripping, emotionally charged story that explores the darker sides of love, trauma, and survival. The characters are deeply flawed yet compelling, and their pain feels raw and real. The writing is sharp, atmospheric, and pulls you in from page one. A perfect read for fans of morally gray dynamics, found-family themes, and slow-burn tension with real emotional stakes. I couldn’t put it down.

What an exciting start to this third and final book of the Broken Blades series! I absolutely cannot wait for more.

I've loved every single moment of this series and this latest installment is no exception. I was so excited to see this title I neglected to notice it was just a sample 😩 but happy for this glimpse none the less

Such a great start to the last book in this amazing action packed series! I loved the little recap section at the beginning too, all series sequels need to have something like that.
These first few chapters already have me hooked. The characters are dealing with the aftermath of the events at Quu, and we don’t ease into the action. Some of the characters are barely waking up and things are already starting to fall apart, but what else is new for this group of misfits?!
I’m so excited to keep reading the rest of this book. This preview reminded me how much I love these characters and Mia Corland’s writing. I’m scared for the end, and who will still be standing then.
