I was struck by the fresh feel and contemporary value of this book. These devotions were tightly written, and transported my mind and outlook to a different state by the second paragraph. Then came a wonderful hook, the kind that makes you suck in your breath. What a ride!. Each devotion was a five-star WOW. I would trust this book to give to anyone— it’ is hopeful and reassuring enough for a new Christian, fresh and substantial enough for a seasoned believer, and gentle enough for an honest seeker of Truth. Bravo.

Lori Hatcher does it again with powerful story-driven devotions rich in biblical truth that strengthen our faith in hard times—and also when life is good. Lord, I Believe is one of my favorite Hatcher devotionals. After Lori grounds us in 60 vitals truths about God in her warm and gentle style, she helps us remember how to “Embrace the truth” with a memorable phrase and a prayer we can offer up to God. As she does so beautifully in her devotional "Refresh Your Prayers," Lori not only leads us through prayer, she also models how to pray and further writes these life-changing truths on our hearts. Some of the devotions make me laugh. Others make me cry. All of them make me believe God and His promises even more. My shelf of Hatcher devotionals is growing—and I’m so grateful.

The perfect book to read again and again. Each devotion includes life experiences, Scripture, prayer, words of wisdom, and more. As I read the words on the pages, I felt the presence of God and His comfort. A beautiful book to share with others. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.

Perfect for anyone who is experiencing loss or heartbreak. This is a 60 day devotional with a Bible verse and an encouraging and uplifting story followed by a short prayer. This will only take a few minutes of your time each day to read. It helps the reader to focus on who God is and how He helps us in times of need.

Thanks to NetGalley and Our Daily Bread Publishing for a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.
