Dating Dr Love is a charming and witty fake-dating romance by UK author Rachel Dove, who was new to me! This lighthearted story follows Chloe, a dedicated doctor vying for a department head position, and Logan, a charismatic TV doc with dreams of breaking into the big screen. When they team up for a mutually beneficial fake relationship, their plans for career success take a hilarious, sometimes slapstick turn toward love. If you’re in the mood for a sweet, funny, and fast-paced romance, give this one a try!
Big thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read and review this fun book.

Thank you Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the ARC!
I love romance novels, and was super excited to read Dating Dr. Love based on the description. And it delivered in many ways! I always enjoy a meet cute, and there was fun banter and dynamics. That said, it was hard for me to connect with the characters - I wanted more depth, and to find them more relatable to really make the sparks fly. I also wanted more spice, but that's clearly just a preference.
Overall, a fun, quick read for those that want less spice, and a cute premise. If you're wanting something with more yearning, depth or spice, I'd maybe reconsider.

Rachel Dove's "Dating Dr. Love" is a charming romance that skillfully employs the fake-dating concept to offer up laughter and real emotional resonance. The premise involves Dr. Chloe Henry, a straight-shooting surgeon in pursuit of advancement, and Logan Broderick, better known as "Doctor Dante Love," a smooth but problematic TV host who wants to fly under the radar. A cringe-worthy, laugh-out-loud meeting leads them to pretend to be together for PR, which creates the perfect stage for a lot of banter and accidental chemistry.
What sets this book apart is that the fake relationship builds slowly, organically, into a real one. The author takes their time with the connection, letting readers really get to know Chloe and Logan as they develop as individuals and as a couple. Aside from the sweet romance, the novel also explores issues of self-confidence and asserting oneself, especially in the case of Chloe at work. "Dating Dr. Love" is a warm, readable, and really hilarious book, ideal for anyone who enjoys a well-written, sentimental romance.

Fake dating
Happy Ever After
Romance and banter
I was quite surprised by this one, I was instantly hooked. The writing style is just so easy to follow and the story had great flow and the right level of banter.
Chloe is the daughter of one of the most successful medical family's. Logan is a wild child TV star who has more writing about his personal life than his acting. When a mix up at a hotel causes the two to bump into each other in the most dramatic way, what follows is a fake dating journey for both Chloe and Logan to get what they want.
Over the space of a week, two people who didn't realise how much they need each other fall hard. But can it all be that simple?

Dating Dr Love is a light and fun rom com of a real doctor and an actor who plays a tv doctor, I really enjoyed the book and the relationship between Chloe and Logan.
There is fake dating, banter and a whole load of chemistry!
Highly recommend!

This was a really fun hearwarming romantic comedy that follows Dr Chloe Henry, a hard working driven surgeon determined to get a promotion. Chloe goes to a medical conference and decides that is her chance to shine and try to get the promotion. However, things change once she meets Dr. Dante Love, a scandal-prone TV hearthrob pretending to be a doctor. After a viral mishap, Logan proposes a fake relationship to save both their reputations. Chloe agrees and then it quickly turns into something more. Chloe must decide if she is willing to risk falling in love.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a refreshing read and I would recommend it to anyone interest and a light hearted romantic read.
Thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood books for the advanced copy.

Dating Dr. Love was a hilarious, swoon-worthy, and thoroughly entertaining read! I read this in one sitting. I loved the banter between Chloe and Logan—Chloe more than earned that “wildcat” nickname, and I was cracking up at every single exchange. Their first meeting? Absolutely priceless. Picture this: Chloe, our fierce doctor, is attending a medical conference and showering in her hotel room—only for world-famous TV star Logan Broderick to walk in and catch her completely naked. Naturally, Chloe threatens his life (as any self-respecting woman would), but things spiral when paparazzi snap a photo of her in a towel with Logan. Instant PR disaster—especially for Logan, whose career and image are already hanging by a thread. Enter Pete, Logan’s manager and one of the best side characters ever, with a solution: fake dating. This was my first Rachel Dove books, but I will definitely be looking up her back list. Thank you to NetGalley for an early copy.

Rebelling from family pressures and expectations
Wanting promotion on her terms, no family revelations
Doctor Chloe Henry is determined to succeed
To thwart Dr Carson's aspirations is what she'll need.
A one week medical conference is where decisions will be made
She's packed her power suits and has presentations ready to be played.
What she hadn't counted on was at the conference to discover
When exiting her shower, a famous actor who is trying to go undercover!
Logan Broderick has had lots of bad press, most not true,
So cleaning up his image is something he needs to do.
Being caught with the Doctor wasn't part of any plan
To avert more bad publicity, they need to do what they can.
Fake dating seems to be the solution for them all
But can they fool others who come to call?
What about the press and her promotion chances, too?
What will they both have to go through?
Crashing into each other is the start of their romance
Will they find a way to give each other a real chance?
Or will it remain fake from beginning to the end?
Will they end as lovers or, at least, friends?
A lovely read where family attitudes and secrets play a part
As there's lots needing changing to save a broken heart.
A cat, a sister and a PR specialist, too,
All play a part as fake dating starts to be true.
I really enjoyed this laugh out loud read
And hope it is one that you also need.
For my copy of this book I say thank you
As I share with you this, my honest review.

Absolutely loved this one.
Seeing how Chloe never gave up was motivating, the author did a really great job with her character as well as with the mmc's.
The fake dating didn't disappoint.
Would recommend.

This was a fun easy read! I was really excited about it because it was giving total Greys Anatomy vibes, but unfortunately it fell a little flat for me.
It’s written in 3rd person, with lots of internal monologue that I felt was incredibly distracting. I wished it had been written in dual POV, because the 3rd person switching back and forth felt really confusing.
The character development lacked, and i didn’t really feel a genuine connection, and did not find myself rooting for them or excited about the relationship. Some parts of the story were explained in great detail, and others felt skimmed over and underdeveloped. It did have a few shining moments that made me smile, but when Chloe tells Logan she loves him, he doesn’t say it back. Like, WHAT?!
In the end, not a book I’d recommend to a friend, and did not make me want to read more from this author.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Oh my goodness this book was alot of fun, I loved Dr Chloe and her ability to cut through all the nonsense and get to the point I found her to be so relatable and I enjoyed the way she handled herself in all of the bizarre situations they end up.I love a fake dating book and this on hit on every level, I enjoyed the banter between Chloe and Logan it was such a joy to read.

Dating Doctor Love is an incredibly cozy romance. While the plot doesn't have any major surprises, it was an incredibly fun and relaxing book to read (I read it in almost one sitting in a bubble bath) and it was a great escape. I do wish that the book had shown us a bit more of Logan and Chloe's bond, rather than simply telling us through narration that the two feel so connected and close. I did really like that the book is refreshingly supportive of Chloe's career - in most books, I think it is still more applauded for men to be ambitious, but the book applauds that Chloe feels strongly about the importance of supporting frontline staff and running a department in the NHS. I have found that Boldwood Books seem to be quietly supportive of the NHS and it makes it a lovely, reassuring reading experience.

This is such a fun, fast-paced rom-com with just the right mix of sass, steam, and chaos. Chloe is a fierce, no-nonsense surgeon trying to climb the career ladder, and the last thing she needs is a half-naked, washed-up TV doctor crashing into her life—literally. But Logan, aka “Doctor Dante Love,” turns out to be more than just a pretty face and a PR disaster. Their fake-dating setup is full of hilarious moments and sizzling chemistry, and watching their snarky banter turn into something real is pure rom-com magic. I really enjoyed this one!

This is a light hearted easy read and insta love was a big part of this book.
Logan is a famous actor in a medical drama and he's accidentally given a key to Chloe's hotel room so their chance encounter happens as she's getting out the shower. However the moment doesn't end up being a private one it's gets papped. What's left for them to do other than fake a relationship? A real doctor and a fake doctor.

I absolutely LOVED this book!
The story follows strong Doctor Chloe Henry and onscreen Dr Dante Love... AKA Logan Broderwick.
Working in a Manchester Hospital, in a male environment, is hardwork for Chloe. She wants a promotion, but the old boys' club stands in her way...
She was an incredible character, so strong and resilient. Working in a primarily male environment as a woman can be awkward and frustrating at times but Chloe dealt with them well - a real role model for any woman having to deal with misogyny.
Logan... I LOVED Logan. Initially I felt the same way as Chloe (that he was a bit of a jerk).but Rachel has a way of revealing his true nature slowly and you suddenly find yourself loving this character so much. He is utterly perfect for Chloe.
I also adored how Chloe lives and works in Manchester. As a Northener, while I love stories set in big Southern cities it is really lovely to be able to relate to a more local city and one I viated regularly at one point!
The story is serious in that it shows an intelligent and hardworking woman fighting the old boys club but it's heartwarming and light, in that it shows us two people qho are evidently made for each other... just the world around them has other ideas!
It is a beautiful book and one I just devoured!
I highly recommend this to romance lovers everywhere!

Fake dating and TV star MMC are my autobuys, so I knew I was going to enjoy this one!
The banter was so much fun, but I also enjoyed the way Logan defended Chloe and helped her stand up for herself too.
While I love that he called her 'wildcat', I love even more the name of her actual cat... LOL at that scene.
I had a few other LOL moments througout, but the feels were there too. Tears aplenty!
Love, love, love Dating Dr Love!

the blurb was so interesting but unfortunately this book wasn't for me so I decided to dnf.
Thank you Netgalley for providing me with this eARC.

A real doc and a fake doc. Add in a fake romance, and the components are there to tell an interesting story. The setting is authentic, and the stress the characters feel seemed authentic, too! Great read for relaxing.

Chloe Henry is a smart, dedicated doctor who is trying to get out from the shadow of her family name. Logan Broderick is a hot TV doctor with an unearned reputation for being a player. Obviously, they randomly meet and are pushed into fake dating for both their sakes. The slow burn/obvious attraction was soo good! And I liked the way they each improved the other without an agenda. Just two people who were meant to meet.
Highly recommend!

I liked it, but don't remember much of it. She was from a medical family, he was a TV star, both happened to be in the same room by accident, and somehow, paparazzi found them and caught them, so they had to fake a relationship.
An okay read, but had much room for improvement.
3 stars.
