I really wanted to like this and I did at the end but the beginning? it just dragged and dragged for me. I felt that until about 70% into the book it was just repetitive and not interesting. A little sad because I wanted to love this but this one wasnt for me!

It was definitely a fun ride. Sometimes celebrity based storylines don't hit the mark for me and it felt a little lacky what I find believable. Nice quick easy read for enjoyment.

A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

This was such a charming and feel-good read! The chemistry between the characters was immediate and engaging, and I loved the banter throughout. The academic setting added a unique twist to the typical rom-com formula, and it made for some fun, flirty moments as the characters navigated both their professional and personal lives.
The romance had a nice slow-burn quality with just enough tension to keep things interesting, and the emotional beats were well done. I especially appreciated how both leads had depth and growth beyond just the romantic storyline.
My only minor critique is that a few plot points felt a little predictable, but honestly, that didn’t take away much from the enjoyment. Sometimes you want a comforting, satisfying romance that wraps up with a smile—and this totally delivered.
A delightful read for fans of witty dialogue, workplace romance, and stories that leave you feeling happy and a little swoony.

This book follows Chloe, a general surgeon, and Logan, a TV star (very much a McDreamy type). I really enjoyed the setup of their story. They meet by chance and end up fake dating to help each other out, which is one of my favorite romance tropes.
I love stories where two very different worlds collide, so the mix of medicine and television was a fun angle. Their relationship did feel a bit insta-lovey, but I didn’t mind it too much since the book is under 300 pages. I thought their dialogue was cute, and I especially liked how Chloe pretended not to be a fan of Logan’s, even though she named her cat after his TV character.
Overall, this one wasn’t quite the right fit for me, but I can see readers who enjoy quick, light celebrity romances really enjoying it. I appreciated the fun premise and the playful tone.

A fun and flirty medical romance, this book follows Chloe and Dr. Dante Love as their initial bickering turns into something more. Praised for its humor and emotional depth, readers have found it an enjoyable and heartfelt story.

I enjoyed this story, although it was a little bit of a slow start for me. I know it's a slow burn, but it took a hot minute for me to get into it. I actually wished we got more from Logan's POV. The celebrity/ doctor dynamic worked and I'm glad Pete didn't turn out to be a jerk because that was my first impression. I'm a sucker for a protective MMC.

Chloe is a surgeon hoping for promotion. Her colleague, Jonhathan, is the only thing standing in her way.. Chloe fake dates Logan, TV's hottest neurosurgeon/plastic surgeon to save his scandals....
Such a romantic book. Love the LOL scenes and dialogue. Chloe and Logan are terrific together. Wonderful rom-com.
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
