We meet Chloe, currently and works as a surgeon in a hospital and is going up for a promotion for a job she really wants but doesn’t like her chances as those on the board are all men and her competitor is a favourite of her boss.
She wants to make changes at the hospital as well as show her family that the decision she made was the right one.
Logan, wants to land the movie contract, he currently is Dr. Dante Love on a show that is doing very well. But, both the contract and his current position is on thin ice as his image isn’t being shown in the tabloids that well.
When he’s sent by his agent send him to a hotel so that he can lay low for a while, he meets Chloe when there’s a mix up with rooms and they’re both photographed, during the confusion.
They decide to portray fake relationship during the time Chloe is at the hotel for her event.
But what will happen when it’s time for Chloe to leave and go back to her job?
I highly recommend this book.

It full of fake dating of and the nickname Logan gives her "wildcat" is the cutest.😍 He is a actor that plays a doctor. She is real life nurse. It gives Grey's vibes. She was trying protect him with the fake dating but he ends up falling for her. he wants to keep her safe.

I really enjoyed this read! It was perfect to get me out of a reading slump too. It was a quick, fun read covering some of my favorite tropes: fake dating, forced proximity, and witty banter. Even though the book is rather short and the story moves along quite quickly, their relationship felt realistic given the circumstances. I liked how their characters grew as well as the side characters. It was a sweet and fast-paced book perfect for summer! Definitely was a 3.5/5 read for me due to how many pop culture references there are (i.e. friends and hunger games). Even though I am familiar with these millennial references, others definitely might not get them.

Thank you for allowing me to read this early! Was an easy read and enjoyable, I liked the characters and their story.

Fake dating, forced proximity, hot chemistry, and a cat? Yes, please!
Dating Dr Love is a fun, feel-good romance that had me smiling throughout! It has everything: a swoonworthy MMC, a smart FMC (with a cat!), and tropes that are done well. The fake dating and forced proximity tropes felt believable and brought so many funny, flirty, and heartfelt moments between the characters. The banter and dialogue was fun to read. There were scenes when the MMC gives off protectiveness and 'touch her, you die' vibes and I'm absolutely living for that!
I read this book in 2 days and absolutely loved it! Rachel Dove has delivered a heartwarming romance that you should add to your TBR! You will be left grinning and giggling, I know I did!
This book will be released on July 16, so save the date!
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the e-ARC!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved it.
Maybe it's the nurse in me or the reader loves a good fake dating book, but I loved it. Picture it - Logan gets the wrong hotel room key at a medical conference and runs into (yes, literally runs into) Chole who is freshly out of the shower.
The meet cute is funny. I found myself laughing at the book multiple times. Laughing out loud.
Logan and Chloe were a good couple!
Logan was so sweet, the way he feels about Chloe.. ahhh.
Reading Chloe feel supported for the first time tickled my heartstrings.
There was some almost insta-love.
Both MCs were well developed. There was also character growth in Chloe, self-realization happened.
The plot was well structured. There were a few places that the paced lagged a bit, but the author quickly recovered.
If you want a sweet, quick, summer book for your TBR, this is a great one to read poolside or at the beach!
Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Publishing, and the author for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!
Happy Reading!

Your classic hospital romance, perfect for that Grey's Anatomy fix while awaiting the brand-new season.

“𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕, 𝑫𝒐𝒄.”
This book was such a fun surprise. I went in expecting something light and it really delivered, but it also had more depth than I thought. It’s the kind of read that gives you a bit of angst, a bit of tension, but still leaves you with a smile. Definitely a solid palate cleanser, especially if you’ve just come off a heavy or emotional read.
I really enjoyed the tropes, forced proximity and fake dating are always fun to read, and Rachel Dove made them work in a way that didn’t feel overdone. The chemistry was believable, and I appreciated that the emotional stakes were there too.
The MMC is an actor, and I liked that he wasn’t the typical “celebrity bad boy” type. He’s actually really grounded, but constantly dealing with people’s assumptions and the image the media has painted of him. It was nice seeing him through a more personal lens, as someone just trying to live his life and be taken seriously.
The FMC is a doctor working her way up to promotion. She’s smart, capable, and driven. Constantly dealing with pressure, both from her workplace and her own family. That kind of judgment, especially from the people who are supposed to support her. The struggle to find a balance between who she is and who others want her to be, felt very real.
One of the things I appreciated most was how both main characters had their own personal arcs. The romance was lovely, but it was also about them figuring themselves out and standing up for what they wanted, not just from each other, but from life. That made the ending feel earned and satisfying.
Dating Doctor Love comes out July 16. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into light romance with heart.
Thanks to the author, Publisher, and netgalley for granting early access to this book. Please note that this review is based solely on my personal thoughts and opinions.

A cute, light and easy read! At times it moved a bit slow for my preference and needed some more editing but it’s a feel good story! I adored the main characters and following their journey together as they learned more about themselves and progressed in their personal growth. Although somewhat predictable, this book is full of what you would expect from a rom com - the classic meet cute encounter, fake dating, and enemies to lovers trope. It’s a great blend of humor, romance and emotional resonance. I recommend this book to readers who are looking for an easy, feel good, fast paced rom com to read for the summer.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review and feedback.

Dating Dr. Love is a delightful romcom with a little bit of everything—the fun, lightheartedness of a serious surgeon and a TV doctor on a fake dating/PR mission, with a few more serious themes popping in for a bit.
Top surgeon Chloe’s worked so hard to shed her overbearing, wealthy family’s legacy and earn a big promotion on her own merit. Famous TV doctor Logan needs to stay off the party scene and is lying low at the hotel where Chloe is set to make her big presentation to all the big bosses. When a room mix-up causes a media sensation that could ruin their career goals, they think quickly to come up with a win-win fake relationship, and it’s on!
What a fun book! So many scenes had me laughing, and you can really feel the chemistry and tension between Chloe and Logan, see the sides they often hide from the world, and grow to love them as characters. I did get annoyed with Chloe allowing her parents to control her life, and that she wasn’t truly able to stand up to them for herself.
And this book had plenty of my favorite tropes—forced proximity, fake relationships, successful career women, only one bed, the list goes on.

The story follows Chole, a general surgeon, who has been working her butt off to get promotion of head at the hospital. However, she is up against the swarmy Dr. Carson, and it's a boys world. She is headed to a week long conference with hopes of impressing the board in order to beat Carson and get the promotion. Chloe comes from an extremely famous medical family that constantly belittles her for what she does, but she doesn't want her connections to get her this promotion. Logan, an actor who is a TV doctor, is in need of some serious PR recovery after being photographed out for the millionth time drunk and with women. His PR head tells him to head to a hotel to get away from the media for a while. When Logan enters his hotel room, someone happens to already be in there, Chloe in the shower. All of a sudden the papparzi have photographed the two in a compromising position, and it could ruin their careers, but luckily Logan's PR comes up with the perfect idea: pretend you are in a relationship.
This story was a bit crazy at times. It would move really slow then all of a sudden wham bam it was quick with certain things. The most annoying part (there were actually two) were the internal monologue that made me want to throttle the book at times, and the third-act breakup was honestly stupid. There was no reason long-distance couldn't have worked even with their busy schedules - they clearly both liked each other. I felt like the characters had no slow burn chemistry building at all, so it was hard to enjoy this as a romance.

Dating Dr. Love is a fun, fast-paced rom-com that delivers equal parts charm, heart, and escapist delight. At its core is Dr. Chloe Henry, a fiercely capable surgeon determined to earn her place on merit, not her last name. When she heads to a career-defining medical conference, she’s laser-focused on crushing team-building challenges and nailing a pivotal presentation—until Logan Broderick quite literally bursts into her life.
Logan, the scandal-prone star of a hit medical drama (and Chloe’s secret celebrity crush), accidentally ends up in her hotel room—with paparazzi not far behind. To save both their reputations, they strike a deal: a fake relationship that, predictably and delightfully, becomes something more.
The fake dating trope is handled with warmth and wit, but what makes this story shine is its heartfelt character development. Chloe is a brilliant, introverted woman navigating not only a high-stakes career but also the weight of family expectations and the isolating pressure of professional perfection. Logan, on the surface a carefree playboy, turns out to be far more—thoughtful, sweet, and struggling with the shallow side of fame.
Their chemistry sizzles, their banter sparkles, and their emotional journeys feel grounded, even when the premise is delightfully over the top. Chloe’s social anxiety, Logan’s quest for meaning, and the slow-burn trust that develops between them give the rom-com fluff a deeper emotional core.
Dating Dr. Love is a feel-good romance with heart, humor, and just enough heat. It’s a smart choice for a summer beach read—or any time you need a joyful mental escape.

This was my first book by this author and it was a nice read, a short fake dating romance with some good qualities but nothing to blow any recent reads out of the water hence the 3 stars.
As soon as they enter their PR relationship Logan is so protective of Chloe and I especially liked how he fiercely stood up for herself at the dinner with her parents.
I loved Chloe's girl boss attitude that she wanted to earn a promotion based on merit and not her family name in a field full of men.
Loved the tattoo touch and the fact that Logan leaped to her rescue at the movie premiere, a very cute reunion.
If you're looking for something short, light and fluffy with no miscommunication then this is a good one to pick up.

Dating Dr. Love by Rachel Dove
This one was a first for me from the author and it did not disappoint me!!
Story is about what happens when a real life doctor who wants to achieve so much meets a reel life doctor who is a famous doctor character but his real life character is spoilt. He is looking for something to improve his impression and she is looking for something to impress her parents/colleagues inshort herself. They meet in a very meet-cute situation which gave me goosebumps!!
📚 Story started with a mix of emotions for me. I was confused as to what is happening, who are the characters and what should I remember because the first two chapters were all about introductions at full speed. Well, it kept me hooked!!
📚 It had so much content related to doctors, hollywood, production, makeup, dresses, people, conference, competition and so much more.
📚 It talked about some taboo subjects such as how females don't get the opportunity to lead in some professional areas and how peer pressure can be something that you have to fight non-stop.
📚 Characters are cute and depth of both characters is shown. Their peculiar habits, their ups and downs, their fears are clearly defined and talked about.
📚 Characters were together for a long time in the story and at one point I thought why are they doing this if they are not sure about the end!! That was a bit boring as well as unpredictable. Moreover the thought of why can't they make it work was something that I wanted to scream at them.
Overall a delightful read, which I enjoyed to the fullest and can't wait to explore other stories from the author.

Overall, I love that there is a rise in medical romance and this has a promising premise. The setup was interesting. That said, once the "meet cute" happens with the MMC grabbing the FMC in a hotel and she is only wearing a towel and this supposedly being okay and cute, this unfortunately derailed the book for me. I did enjoy the voice of the character so I'd definitely try another med romance by this author.

Thank you to Boldwood books and Rachel Dove for asking me to review this story .
This was a fun read , there is plenty of drama with the characters Chloe Henry who is a very hard core and independent very hard worker wanting to work her way up from surgeon with out using her family name , and Logan Broderick who T.V hottest and played a plastic surgeon all i could think of was joey from friends honestly made me giggle .
the story itself took me a little while to get into but once a few chapters in everything was happening so much fun .
.
i very much enjoyed Rachel writing she kept turning the pages ,and it flowed very well .
if you enjoy a hospital love story i think you would enjoy it and plenty of banter ,
i am giving the story 4 blood heart rushing stars

Dr. Chloe Henry is a badass surgeon who is trying to get out from her family’s name. She doesn’t want a promotion based on nepotism. Chloe wants to earn it from the hard work and dedication she has given to her job. Chloe is attending a medical conference which is make it or break it for the next step in her career. She has to prove herself by participating in team building challenges & by giving a stellar presentation in front of her peers. She is SO ready for this.
Chloe gets the surprise of her life while getting ready in her hotel room. Logan Broderick, the scandalous heartthrob star of her favorite doctor show, barges into her room, and she’s wearing nothing but a towel. Of course, the paparazzi were trailing Logan.
The only way out of this without ruining the reputations of both the promising surgeon and the reckless actor? A fake relationship, of course. What could possibly go wrong… or right?
This close proximity rom-com was the perfect mental break I needed. The story was cute, the characters were not only lovable but driven. While the story was a total fantasy, the author did a fantastic job making both Chloe and Logan relatable. Chloe had her social anxiety, her judgmental family, and patriarchal system to deal with as she found herself. Logan had his immaturity, his reputation, and his work-life balance to figure out. The story was an adorable meeting of two polar opposites, a no nonsense FMC, and a golden retriever MMC. Add this to your beach read list if you’re a fan of rom-coms!

I usually enjoy romances in a medical setting but this missed the mark for me. It did not really focus on that aspect and honestly, some of the characters seemed immature for doctors. It was a bit too insta-lust for me, just a personal preference. Otherwise, if you enjoy a quick read and cute insta-love story, this one is for you.

This book was cute and would make a nice beach read. It moved slow at times and was a bit choppy with events. I still enjoyed Logan’ and Chloe and their journey together as they both learned lots about them selves and became better people with each other.
Thank you Net Galley, Rachel Dove, and Boldwood Books for an ARC copy of Dating Dr Love.

Dating Dr. Love is a cute little enemy to lovers romance perfect for a summer day. It’s a light and easy read, although somewhat predictable, but truly fulfills its purpose of giving us a good vibe book.
