Thanks to net galley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

So I’d give this book 4.25 stars if I could. The docked star is removed due to two things: the use of “wildcat” as a nickname (pass) and some cheesy not realistic sounding dialogue that accompanies the couples’ conversations, mostly from Logan.

This book was sweet, easy to read and original. The main characters were enjoyable and mature adults about their relationship, Too often there is a very avoidable misunderstanding that ruins the relationship and this wasn’t the case. Could’ve used more steamy scenes between Chloe and Logan. Sort of had trouble getting into their feelings at first but it was believable with time.

One of the doctors in the book was incredibly immature and would never sacrifice his position by acting as described during the conference, but I get the need to create drama. There wasn’t a lot of medical talk or action despite the premise of the book. Recommend for anyone who enjoys fake relationships, forced proximity.

Fun read, plot was well thought out I love fake dating tropes and Logans character was great. I thought I wasn't going to like Chloe at first but OI actually did

I was able to read this book early through NetGalley. I really enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of the fake dating troupe, you will enjoy this book. The main characters were really likeable and I enjoyed their insta-love story and eventual HEA. This book isn't heavy in medical jargon so easily consumable by anybody even if you aren't interested in the medical setting. This was the first book I read by the author and I'd definitely read future books.

This book was a fun read. The plot was well constructed and was easy to follow and gain an idea of the main characters' personalities. The plot was beautifully written and I loved how it developed and brought the characters together. The characters developed a beautiful relationship, which wasn't rushed and they definitely formed a strong bond. This book was an amazing read.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me the privilege to read this book I really appreciate it!

I loved and devoured this book! It did get a little tiny bit cheesy good cheesy though at the end but my gosh did I love this! I could 100% see this as a summer romance on the big screen! The story is completely immersive, and the characters are perfect and honestly so real despite their job titles. I didn't want to put this down, I haven't laughed this hard and loved all at the same time as I did reading this book! The paintball scene! That was perfect utterly perfect it will live rent free in my mind. Yes it's almost instalust/love in this book, but sometimes that's more real than you think. It just takes finding the right person, sometimes it just happens like that. I know it did with my husband and I and we're still 12 years strong. Sometimes I know that doesn't work well in a book, but this totally did. Other than the slight cheesiness at the end of this book which I still loved, and a couple of forgotten or misused words I adored this book!

On a bleak, hard day this is like putting on your favourite binge show and falling for the lead, but in book form. You will totally fall for Dr. Love and Dr. Henry and being rooting for them all the way!

Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to read this book I loved it!

This rom-com was cute, but it was a little too slow for me until about 3/4 of the way through. I wasn't really invested in Chloe and Logan early on, but knew that would change when they inevitably hooked up. This book does follow the formula that many rom coms are known for, but ultimately it was a satisfying read and I blew through the last 1/4 of the book. Despite the pace, it was a fast read, but I wanted more of Chloe and Logan together earlier. There were parts where I was reminding myself they weren't together yet.

I liked the forced proximity trope here and their initial meet was pretty humorous! Thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a fun, entertaining read. I loved the character development of the main characters and their romance. Logan is my newest book boyfriend. These two are fun to spend time with. The ending is very fitting for their story – as individuals and a couple. Fake romance is one of my favourite tropes and this did not disappoint. The story is easy to read and get into.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Really enjoyed this fun rom com about an actor who plays a famous TV doctor and a real life general surgeon who accidentally end up in the same room when a photographer find them in a compromising position. For both their sakes they begin to fake date but find the more time them spend together there may be more real feeling an involved the either of them expected. I don’t typically love doctor related rom com books but this one was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a fun little book to read on the beach this summer!

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for providing this book, with my honest review below.

Dating Dr. Love is an adorable romance, light and made even better by the clear chemistry of our leads.

Chloe is up for a big promotion at the hospital where she works as a surgeon but doesn’t feel great about it given the boy’s club hiring board and her fratty competition that her boss loves. She’s motivated both by her desire to change things at the hospital and proving herself to her private doctor family. Meanwhile Logan plays Dr. Dante Love on a hit show but wants a prestigious movie role and finds both at risk due to his party boy, leave em and love em reputation. The two have a most unfortunate meetup that is photographed and decide to make the best of it. I totally forgave the instalove because the chemistry and dynamics between Chloe and Logan was so good.

This book definitely leans into the tropes, but it’s very well done and so sweet and well written it would be a crime to pass it up as a romance fan.

🩺 This was a light-hearted, swoonworthy romance that I really enjoyed.

🎬 I loved Chloe's character for the fact that she loved her job. She was very much a bossbabe, but she also needed a little extra confidence boost to not hide away from people - I loved that Logan helped bring that side out of her.

🩺 Logan was very swoonworthy & sweet. A guy who is what romances are all about - someone who sees you & cares about you & wants to look after you, not because you need it but because he wants to or needs to be told to - cue dreamy music!!!

🎬 I enjoyed the chemistry & banter between the two of them. I also enjoyed the backdrop of a medical conference. It made it different & interesting.

🩺 I definitely recommend if you're looking for a lovely, easy-going romance to make you smile!

I first want to thank NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC in exchange for a review.

I was initially so excited for this read as it was my first in the "doctor" theme but I'm definitely not new to the fake dating trope. While it's not an overly long book, I felt it took a while to get going and was almost too slow for me. I found Logan to be slightly annoying and had a hard time liking his character.

I can see why some would enjoy this book, but it just wasn't for me.

Dating Dr Love is a thoughtful and well-paced slow-burn romance that strikes a lovely balance between warmth, emotional depth, and gentle humour.

The story centres around Chloe, a skilled general surgeon determined to make her own name in the medical world, and Logan, an actor whose on-screen persona as Dr Dante has been overshadowed by a damaging tabloid scandal. In need of image repair, Logan agrees to a fake relationship, and Chloe, grounded and ambitious, unexpectedly finds herself part of the plan.

From the outset, the novel offers more than just the typical fake dating storyline. There’s genuine emotional growth and mutual respect between the characters, which makes their journey all the more satisfying. Logan, in particular, stands out as a deeply likeable lead—protective, kind, and refreshingly respectful of Chloe’s independence and career. His approach is quietly supportive, never overbearing, and that alone makes him a standout among recent romantic leads.

The chemistry between Chloe and Logan is natural and believable. Rather than rushing into romance, the story allows their connection to build gradually, giving weight to each interaction. While there is one on-page intimate scene, the true strength lies in the emotional tension and sincerity between them.

Moments like the team-building scenes add depth and a touch of lightness, while the red carpet sequence offers one of the novel’s more romantic highlights. And then there’s the writing—at times quietly lyrical. One line in particular stayed with me:

“Because the echo of you will stay with me forever, as sure as the ink on your skin.”

Overall, Dating Dr Love is a gentle, heartfelt romance with well-developed characters and a strong emotional arc. Ideal for readers who enjoy fake dating done with care, emotional authenticity, and a slower, more meaningful romantic development.

I really wanted to like this and I did at the end but the beginning? it just dragged and dragged for me. I felt that until about 70% into the book it was just repetitive and not interesting. A little sad because I wanted to love this but this one wasnt for me!

It was definitely a fun ride. Sometimes celebrity based storylines don't hit the mark for me and it felt a little lacky what I find believable. Nice quick easy read for enjoyment.

This was such a charming and feel-good read! The chemistry between the characters was immediate and engaging, and I loved the banter throughout. The academic setting added a unique twist to the typical rom-com formula, and it made for some fun, flirty moments as the characters navigated both their professional and personal lives.

The romance had a nice slow-burn quality with just enough tension to keep things interesting, and the emotional beats were well done. I especially appreciated how both leads had depth and growth beyond just the romantic storyline.

My only minor critique is that a few plot points felt a little predictable, but honestly, that didn’t take away much from the enjoyment. Sometimes you want a comforting, satisfying romance that wraps up with a smile—and this totally delivered.

A delightful read for fans of witty dialogue, workplace romance, and stories that leave you feeling happy and a little swoony.

This book follows Chloe, a general surgeon, and Logan, a TV star (very much a McDreamy type). I really enjoyed the setup of their story. They meet by chance and end up fake dating to help each other out, which is one of my favorite romance tropes.

I love stories where two very different worlds collide, so the mix of medicine and television was a fun angle. Their relationship did feel a bit insta-lovey, but I didn’t mind it too much since the book is under 300 pages. I thought their dialogue was cute, and I especially liked how Chloe pretended not to be a fan of Logan’s, even though she named her cat after his TV character.

Overall, this one wasn’t quite the right fit for me, but I can see readers who enjoy quick, light celebrity romances really enjoying it. I appreciated the fun premise and the playful tone.

A fun and flirty medical romance, this book follows Chloe and Dr. Dante Love as their initial bickering turns into something more. Praised for its humor and emotional depth, readers have found it an enjoyable and heartfelt story.

I enjoyed this story, although it was a little bit of a slow start for me. I know it's a slow burn, but it took a hot minute for me to get into it. I actually wished we got more from Logan's POV. The celebrity/ doctor dynamic worked and I'm glad Pete didn't turn out to be a jerk because that was my first impression. I'm a sucker for a protective MMC.
