I really enjoyed the first chapter and was eager to see where the story would go from there. I'm not going to lie, it had me pretty hooked.. Sadly, while the story was good, I saw everything coming pretty quickly. All of the twists were ones I was expecting, and while it was a good story, it was pretty predictable at the best of times. The writing wasn't bad, but most of the characters weren't very likable, and I found myself not really caring much about what was happening to them, more than being curious if I was right about who was behind it all (I was). Overall, I don't think this is bad, again, just predictable, but I think there are others who will enjoy it.

When they were six years old, this group of Scottish youngsters was kidnapped by their bus driver and held captive in a small cave. All the children managed to escape except Maggie who was left behind but eventually got away after the driver fell to his death. Now, many years later they find themselves on a school enrichment program outing that has them hiking in the same spot. The strangest part is that none of them picked this hike as their choice for the program. Strange, scary things start happening, will they make it out alive?
Seven All Alone had nonstop action and I was hooked--I read it all in a sitting. Great characters, great plot and great twists and turns. Pick it up for a gripping YA thriller. 4.25 stars.
I received this advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
