We’re back in Crimson Ridge for the final book in this series. This book is absolutely everything you want in a taboo MM cowboy romance. There’s angst. There’s tension. There’s a grumpy cowboy with a filthy mouth. And there’s allllllll the spice.
Kayce and Raine are like oil and water. They each have their own versions and memories of their traumatic childhoods. I just wanted to wrap Kayce up in a hug during this entire book. At first I wanted to throttle Raine, and then I fell in love with him right along with Kayce. It was so beautiful to watch Kayce’s character grow and transform since we first met him in book one.
Elliott has crafted such an Amazon world in Crimson Ridge. It’s bittersweet that this is the last book in the series, but I have no doubt that wherever she takes us next will be amazing.
Thank you to Kensington and NetGalley for this ARC.

Saving the Rain is book 4 in the Crimson Ridge Ranch series with all the fun that comes along with it.
We are brought back to the ranch and the characters that we have grown to love, now with a new age gap, stepbrother twist!
I did enjoy the story of Wilder and Raine, as they found our there own inner peace through each other. Cowboy romances are always a good decision. 🥰 Even with a slight enemies to lovers tilt, the story felt slightly insta-lovey to me, which is hard trope for me in romances.
Otherwise, I enjoyed my time being back in this world.

DID I FINISH THIS BOOK OR DID THIS BOOK FINISH ME???? One last rodeo in Crimson Ridge and it did not disappoint! Kayce has always been a characters that’s intrigued me since book 1 and absolutely loved seeing his character growth! We got to learn more about his backstory and the decisions he made in book 1. I wasn’t completely sold on Raine in the beginning but as the story went on I fell in love with his character and how he would do anything to protect his snowflake 🥹. I cried honestly an unspeakable amount of times reading this. It felt raw and real about two broken characters finding their way back to each other. I’m so sad this series has come to an end but I cannot wait to see what Elliot does next!

I was UNPREPARED for how much I would love this book & story. This interconnected standalone is a beautiful representation of figuring out who you are, strength, and obviously all the extra spicy moments.
This is possibly my favorite in the Crimson Ridge series, and I absolutely love the way Kayce and Raine love eachother!!

I love this author and this series and I’m extremely grateful for the ARC, however I didn’t realize it was a same sex male pairing and that’s just not my genre of interest. I don’t have an interest in finishing the book, though I am confident if that’s your genre you will enjoy it.

Wow wow wowwww.! I didn’t expect for this one to be my favorite in the series but Kayce & Raine have my entire heart! From the small quiet moments between them to the unsteady grounds of navigating sexuality this book is a banger! Elliot Rose is the only author I know who can make taboo romance so swoon worthy!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥 Saving the Rain by Eliott Rose 🤠✨
ARC via NetGalley
An intense enemies to lovers cowboy romance between stepbrothers — full of tension, longing, and emotional depth. The slow burn is deliciously frustrating, but once it ignites? Scorching. 🔥
Tender, rugged, and deeply heartfelt. Perfect for fans of m/m romance with a slow build and big payoff. @elliottroseauthor

Elliott Rose has changed the dynamic in her latest installment in the Crimson Ridge series. Saving the Rain is a stepbrother romance where you can save the horse and just ride your stepbrother instead. In this cowboy romance, eight seconds is plenty... maybe.
Kayce Wilder and Zeke Raine are cowboys who have been at odds and rivals in the rodeo arena... can they get past their rivalry and their own hurts or will they keep one another from finding love and their forever happy? This one was a rollercoaster of angst and just wanting to throw my kindle and yell at them. But would they be guys if it wasn't?
Vibes include: angsty rivals to lovers, found family, it's always been you, stepbrothers, we should stop, you look good in my clothes

This is now my new favorite book in the Crimson Ridge series! We met Kayce as Some horrible ex boyfriend in book 1 and now he is my favorite character with such a sad past. He has grown so much from that guy we hated, now I love him and his journey through this book. Raine and Kayce have this incredible connection that I felt so deeply. It was a rocky start with a lot of twists and past traumas but it made their story so much more because of it. If I could give it 6 stars I would!

What a literally breathtaking conclusion to the finale of this series! I fell head over heels for this book and once I started it I couldn't put it down. Elliot does a beautiful and thoughtful job at storytelling this story specifically & it's evident in the writing because it was just so good!
It was truly an unforgettable story & I absolutely adored it!
Thank you NetGalley for an eARC!

Elliott Rose has done a great job closing out her Crimson Ridge series. This is book 4 in the series, and I do recommend reading the other books in the series before hand, so you know the cast of characters involved and some of the back story of one of the main male characters. It is a spicy open door MM novel, that leads to the growth and awakening of one of the main characters of the series, and Rose does a great job of writing his story and growing his character in the book.
Thank you, Elliott Rose, Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for letting me enjoy an advance copy of Saving The Rain.

This was a barn burner of a forbidden love, MM, cowboy romance. Think Broke Back Mountain but with a stepbrother twist, way more 🌶️ and a HEA. These two have all kinds of issues pulling them apart but they absolutely 🔥🔥🔥 whenever they are together. So fricking 🥵.

An unforgettable and deeply moving finale to a series that has completely stolen my heart. Saving the Rain delivers a breathtaking conclusion to the Crimson Ridge series—raw, heartfelt, and beautifully written.
This cowboy romance took everything I adore about forbidden love and turned it into something achingly intimate and emotionally charged. There’s a quiet vulnerability between the characters that builds slowly, against an undercurrent of tension and trauma. Every look, every touch, every moment is soaked in feeling, and balances the tenderness of love and vulnerability with the rugged strength these characters are known for as bronc riders and ranchers. The writing is nuanced and emotionally layered, adding even more depth to an already unforgettable story.
Elliott Rose doesn’t just wrap up a series; she leaves you with something that lingers long after the final page. It’s about trust, healing, and the kind of love that reshapes everything. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ending.
'𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓲𝓽 𝓯𝓮𝓮𝓵𝓼 𝓵𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓼𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓽𝓾𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓲𝓷 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓮𝓵𝓼𝓮.'

Elliott Rose's previous book was so great. Could not put down! This one, unfortunately, was not for me.

Couldn't get through this at a certain point, the writing is not great and not having read the previous books it just doesn't grab me. I liked the premise but overall it just wasn't very good.

This story took everything I love about forbidden romance and made it impossibly tender and devastatingly intense. There’s this simmering vulnerability between them that slowly unravels, and the closer they get, the more the story starts to bleed with feeling. The angst, the tension, the stolen moments; they’re written with such care and precision that I found myself rereading whole passages just to feel them again. I adored how the writing gives space for softness without taking away the grit. The emotional payoff is huge and completely worth it. It’s filled with longing and slow trust and that rare kind of love that makes you want to rewrite the rules of your life. I absolutely loved it.

I gave this book a fair shot, but it just didn’t land for me. The writing lacked polish, and I never felt truly invested in the characters or their journey. I kept waiting to feel that spark—but it never came.

Saving the Rain by new to me author Elliott Rose, published by Kensington Publishing, is book four in the Crimson Ridge Series. Yes, there are cross overs to previous books, I recommend to read the books in order.
This is Kayce and Raine's story. Stepbrothers who wasn't friendly at all, now they're running into each other as adults again. Kinda frosty, but secretly attracted to each other, this mm, cowboy romance has everything I love in a good story. Enemies-to-lovers, drama, suspense, a fantastic storyline, 4,5 stars.

Saving the Rain by Elliott Rose is a sizzling and forbidden stepbrother romance full of cowboy drama. This is an age gap, M/M romance that is packed with slow burn tension and heat. Kayce Wilder is trying to clean up his act after a history of mistakes, but a rodeo injury forces him into close quarters with Zeke Rainer, his estranged stepbrother and longtime rival who is entirely off limits. It’s a spicy and angsty story of self discovery and redemption.

Wow. I can't even. The steam, the spice, the EVERYTHING. This book has it all. Here's to the continuation of the series and more spice than ever!
