Coming from an expert who has working in the NHS and other health systems, this is a well-argued, and written book on how the black and white thinking about the NHS (a moral, free public health system) is preventing us from creating solutions.
The writer also looks at the system from a patient's standpoint and I found his insights to be valuable even when I do not always agree with them.
A much required read and a great addition to the discussions about the future of NHS. I hope those in charge could take the author's and other experts' views and suggestions into account.
