This book is easily one of the best second chance romances I’ve read in a while. Noah and Lucy went to high school together, where they couldn’t have been more different. Lucy was the studious good girl with big dreams, while Noah was the laidback musician chasing a future in music. Despite their differences, they bonded over their difficult home lives and a connection began to grow.

After graduation, Lucy heads off to Georgetown, and Noah sets his sights on New York to pursue music. The distance and the stark contrast in their new lives prove too much and they break up. BUT over the years, Noah never truly lets go of his feelings for Lucy and he finds his way back to her. Whether that is tickets to his shows or visiting her home, he never gives up on his love for Lucy.

This story had so many good moments: Noah traveling just to see Lucy for a few hours, and later, showing her around his life in New York. What really stood out to me, though, was how real both characters felt. Lucy and Noah aren’t idealized, they’re written like real people, with struggles, doubts, and conversations that mirror real life relationships. Watching them rediscover their love and navigate two very different lifestyles made this such a moving and satisfying read!!!

This may have been one of my favorites in the series. Noah and Lucy get their second chance and boy does Noah fight for her. I liked Noah a lot, his love for Lucy is pretty steady given all the choices she made.

Good read.

Loved the book. Great storyline. Different from other Rock/band ones I have read before. Perfect ending. Really strong story line the whole way through book. Quite a fast read.

This book is a winner! I love this series and loved learning Noah's story. He's been a hot mess throughout the series, so i enjoyed learning his back story and his complicated relationship with Lucy.

Their relationship is filled with love, pain, and lots of angst. I was totally engrossed in their story and it felt like the characters came to life on the page.

This one is a must read for fans of the genre. Its poignant moments will bring a tear to your eye, even as it makes you smile. The author is on my must read authors' list.
