Thanks Netgalley for a copy to read and review.

Whoop..whoop. After finishing Entice I prayed and went to my kindle to see if had book two. Well God was listening. Book two was not as fun as book one though. In this part she loses bad ass Liam and goes back to her husband sadly. I find it funny that she acted like Liam was all that in bed but because there were things he couldn't give her, she dumps him. Probably rightly so. So she decides since James is there for her to give him a second chance. Still the writing was superb I was just hoping for a different outcome. Four stars of entertainment.

The most angsty books are often the ones hardest to review. Because this center around a marriage in trouble due to infidelity, this qualifies as such. I loved and hated it and seriously loved it because of the way it made my heart pound - through the entire read.

Laurie's marriage is in deep trouble and this story is all about her coming to terms with an indiscretion on her husbands part and finding herself tempted to do the same. Does "separating" mean she's not culpable of doing the same to him? Good questions. In so many ways it's easy to see why she believes it's different and why I'd agree with her. But also, maybe not.

While the angst from her marriage tore me a part, what she finds with Liam is very telling. He's sexy and hot and certainly not relationship material. But is that what she needs and wants?

Layne does a spectacular job making the reader question their own beliefs and values. I had a ton of sympathy for her and couldn't wait to see where things went. This was an unputdownable read and now it's on to Book 2....

5 Stars and recommendation!
