This was such a beautiful cosy workplace romance, the characters are so well written, an unhinged FMC ( in a loveable way ) and a grumpy lowkey softie MMC is the way to my heart 🫣 if you're looking for a cutie summer read or just want something that I'll make you feel warm inside and giggley then be sure to pick this up! If you're a lover of animals puppies ro be specific, hot men, photography and new beginnings then this one is for you! Also if you love Sarah Adam's books then you'll love this one just as much! This was my first reading experience with this author and it won't be the last!

Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for allowing me to listen to this book in advance in exchange for an honest review.
Normally the work romance is not my favorite trope. However, this was the perfect blend of enemies to lovers and grumpy-sunshine. It had a good amount of spice, but it was well written within the plotline. The build up timing was perfect, and the romance never felt forced. The storyline was so cute and who doesn't love a good male/dog photoshoot? Really enjoyed the character development of the MMC! Definitely a great summer romantic read!

Holly is starting over after having to leave her job as a lawyer at an environmental non-profit as an intern. The company gives all the interns a challenge to raise money for the company and whoever raises the most gets a job offer. In building her team, Holly enlists co-worker Jonathan who used to be a professional photographer as her help.
This book is the quintessential grumpy office romance. I absolutely loved the banter between the main characters. The narrator did a great job making me feel the emotions of the characters and I highly recommend this as an audiobook.
Thank you Net Galley, Hachette Audio, and the author for this ARC!

This started out great. I loved that both characters were really starting over.
I enjoyed the relationship between the FMC, her brother, and her niece. It felt like a genuine and heartfelt relationship. I was also more interested in the chemistry with the brother and another character.
As the story went on, it felt like the FMC was taking advantage of the MMC a lot throughout the story. She often pressured him into doing the things she wanted. She was so desperate to leave and start over, I wonder if she really cared about the job.
I also felt that there were some major and obvious ideas that were never considered. Why not team up with a dog shelter to take the photos of adoptable dogs and "hot guy" volunteers? Especially when they struggled to find doggy & dad duos. I dislike the idea of the fundraiser competition being the thing that determined who got the job. Didn't their internship mean anything? What happens if someone who wasn't suited for the job was able to raise the most money?
I couldn't stop thinking of these hurdles and I couldn't get over them.
The narrator was good. I did have to listen at a faster speed. I enjoyed listening to the story and enjoyed the emotion that was out behind the narration.
Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for the ALC.

I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between the main characters. The male characters development was great but the female kind of stayed the same. Overall loved the idea of the plot and really enjoyed the story

I like the story but it the pace was very slow for me. It felt like a lot of repetition of the same feelings.

Finding Mr. July was a good, sweet romance with some really fun moments. I laughed and giggled at parts, and the banter was great. But overall, the book could have been more for me. I give it 3.5 stars

Absolutely loved this book.
Such a light-hearted read; something you’d love to read while travelling or commuting.
Office romance and dogs? What’s not to love here?
The plot is cute and entertaining. Feel good book.
Lauren Ezzo as the narrator was great.
Loved her voice for this.
The production and post-production team did a great job with the audio flow and quality.

Oh how I adored this!!!
Holly and Jonathon share something in common - the need to start over. A need to run away from mistakes and a pressure to never make them again. They also share a workspace and have to work together for a fundraiser project that will allow Holly to move all the way to Scotland to have her fresh start. But what if things get too deep? What if the emo boy Jonathon with secrets lining his dark clothing are coaxed into the light by Holly? WHAT THEN?!
The tension between these two starts in the beginning and it had me kicking and screaming. The author knows how to write delicate, soft moments like undoing a zipper in a way that is rarely done. I was QUIVERING 😮💨
This story is ultimately about deciding what’s important. Career ambitions? Childhood goals? Falling in love? Feeling happy? It’s a beautiful story about falling in love and facing our fears and trusting the fall.
Most importantly - the narration of this book was SO good. Lauren Ezzo is one of the most incredible narrators and sits up there with Julia Whelan and Natalie Naudus for me. I would honestly say that if you were to choose which format to read this, audiobook is the way to go. Lauren just has a way of emoting and conveying a story that feels like you’re in a movie.

Such a cute, fun read! I really enjoyed the romance and how they actually took the time to have real conversations and truly get to know each other. It went a little steamier than I would have liked, and the FMC did annoy me at times with her selfishness. I found myself just really rooting for Holly and Jonathan. I could really feel their chemistry and love the organic way their relationship progressed. Really wish the book was set in the summer as the title would lead you to believe. The audiobook with narrated by Lauren Enzo who did a really great job of narrating and bringing the story to life. Overall, I really recommend this book for a cute, fun, easy to read romance.

Thank you to NetGalley, Hachette Audio, Forever, and Anna E. Collins for the chance to read this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is such a cute workplace/forced proximity romance. Both Holly and Jonathan's career and personal lives were at a pivotal moment and that was used as a great tool to show growth.
The premise of working on a fundraiser calendar featuring hot guys and dogs definitely got my attention! The way Jonathan's photos were described- I wished I could see them... especially his...
Narration was very well done. I would absolutely seek out books narrated by Lauren Ezzo again!

5⭐️ 2🌶️ 5🎧 This book was so stinking cute! Holly’s journey to find what truly makes her happy and what she wants in life and Jonathan’s impact on her was so sweet. I so badly want to see the final calendar in real life, especially Mr. July’s 💙
The third act was so sad. I knew something would happen, but I was whole heartedly not expecting what happened or the resolution.
Lauren Enzo narrated this story and she did such a good job! This was my first time listening to her, and I look forward to listening to her again!
Thank you NetGalley and Hachette Audio for this advanced audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I was given advance audio copy for a honest review.
I'm giving this 5 stars. If you enjoy the hating game you will enjoy this.
I really highly enjoyed this novel. Who wouldn't love a workplace romance. Cute guys and pets. And put that all in a calender. The characters were enjoyable and didnt get on your nerves. This was set in single POV and narratored by Lauren Ezzo who is one of my favorite narrators of all time. She really makes you feel and embodys the characters. The writing is great and makes you invested the author really pulls you in and makes you want more. I would recommend this

Finding Mr July is a good grouchy/sunshine. The narrators did a great job. Perfect summer listen. This was a sweet romance, for the hot summer days

I loved both characters and the banter between the two. Grumpy/sunshine troupe with doggies! Narrator did an excellent job.
I received an arc from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book!
The problem I have with many romance books is that the conflict is often predictable and avoidable if people just communicated. This book was so fresh! The conflict was unexpected and so real. I felt like this was a totally relatable scenario.
I'm a sucker for dual POV, so I wish we had delved a little deeper into his thoughts and feelings throughout the story, but I still felt like I could relate to both main characters.
The narrator was great! I've listened to a few books she's narrated and I'm a big fan.

A feel-good listen with grumpy/sunshine vibes, adorable dogs, and just the right amount of swoon.
This book was such a fun and heartwarming listen! Holly’s journey from lawyer to conservation intern was inspiring, and the slow-burn romance with all the puppy moments totally won me over. Lauren Ezzo brought the story to life with great narration!

Finding Mr. July was such a fun and quick read!! This is the perfect read for summer - hot guys, dogs, romance… need I say more? I loved the premise of the story and the characters. Their banter was wonderful and I enjoyed reading how their relationship unfolded. I loved the reminder that it’s never too late to start over. This was my first book by Anna E. Collin’s and I look forward to reading more. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. ⭐️
I would like to thank Hachette Audio and NetGalley for giving me an ARC (which did not sway my opinions or review).

3/5
A cute story. Nothing earth shattering. Simple and straightforward. But a nice and enjoyable workplace romance. I did actually have more interest in the side character romance

Finding Mr. July delivers a steamy and emotionally charged romance that starts with an awkward, tension-filled encounter and escalates into a one-night stand that neither character can shake.
When they unexpectedly end up working together on a charity calendar project featuring attractive men and adorable puppies, their connection deepens—but so do the complications. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but navigating personal feelings in a professional setting adds real emotional stakes.
This book had a great mix of heat and heart, with a compelling slow burn that built naturally through shared moments and genuine vulnerability. If you enjoy workplace romance with emotional tension and a unique project setting, this one is worth picking up.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this early.
