A beautiful children's book. The art was especially striking. And I loved the message of this book. This book is perfect for libraries at home or shared, that are hoping to expand the diversity of their collection.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!
Nine babies all born on the same day grow up side-by-side in this gorgeously illustrated picture book. The rhymes are lovely and the inclusive representation is authentically done. This would be great for a lap sit read with babies and toddlers.

A very short and sweet book for children. The illustrations are precious and include many types of diversity. The author's note in the back made me appreciate this simple book even more.

Super short and sweet children’s book it shows how each person is different. They admire the little things like the bubbles artwork. Anything that makes them happy.

This was such a sweet little story - great for little ones not ready for longer narratives.
The illustrations are stunning and sure to catch little eyes and the rhyming makes the narrative fun and easy to remember!
I love children's books that celebrate diversity, I wish these were more common when I was younger!

Little people was so cute a heartfelt. My son really enjoyed all the beautiful illustrations. Thanks so much netgalley for this cute moment with my son!

9 Little People is a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated children’s book that celebrates uniqueness, friendship, and the power of kindness. Each character is thoughtfully crafted to reflect different personalities and strengths, helping young readers understand that everyone has something special to offer. With a rhythmic, engaging text and a meaningful message, this book is perfect for sparking important conversations about acceptance and inclusion. A delightful read for families, classrooms, and anyone who loves a story that uplifts and inspires.

This book is about 9 little people born on the same day and all have the most fun! The illustrations are beautiful and eye catching. The story rhymes and is easy to remember. It’s a lovely reminder to children that we are all different and like different things and being unique is just fine. My little one enjoyed this.

I thought this was a beautiful book. Not just the illustrations but the ways in which it easily highlights inclusivity for young readers. This book would be a great way to introduce family dynamics, cultures, and respect for others to children in the classroom and at home.

Wow! I am so impressed.
This is the story of 9 children who are all born on the same day but into very different lives. Watch them all grow up and discover how they are all rich in unique and diverse ways.
This book is perfect for kids ages 10 and under. It is full of easy to understand rhyming prose, beautiful full color illustrations, and content that is just so relevant in today's world.
I am a parent of a Deaf son, a queer daughter, and autistic daughter, and another who is special in her own ways. It was so amazing to find a book that represents them all under one cover!
I absolutely loved this and I think that it tells an important message that should be shared with all children. Well done!

I chose this book because I have two children and I am trying to raise them to he good humans. I loved reading it to them. They loved listening to it. The illustrations were engaging and the story had great purpose.

Such a cute book with an endearing author's note.
This book is best suited for children aged 3-4 where they can explore the colorful pictures. The sentences are simple and easy to understand and do well in conveying a powerful story in few words. The art is attention grabbing and perfect for a read along with your little one and I love the diversity of families shown, Overall I think this book is a great choice to add to your child's library!

What a sweet book!
I love how the author chose 9 diverse characters who happen to be born on the same day and shows that no matter what we look like, where we live, or how we were raised, we all have something in common. The core of this book is focused on the human race, which we all have in common. The 9 children, though they look different from each other, all enjoy and experience some of the same things, like being bounced on a lap as a baby or blowing bubbles outside.
I believe this book is a solid reminder that no matter our differences, we all have at least one thing in common with everyone else in the world. As an educator, this will be a book that will be sitting on my shelves and read aloud each year!

The rhyme/meter feels a bit clunky at parts and the message of the words is very surface level but the illustrations do a lot to bring inclusivity and representation to young children. I especially liked the author's note at the end about the "10 fingers and 10 toes" messaging from kids' birth as a mark of value.

Thank you NetGalley for the free e-book, review is my own.
Beautiful art. I think you need to read the authors note to understand the purpose of this book and why 9 is significant. The rhymes were cute and the focus was away from things children cannot change.

I love the inclusivity for this book. After reading the authors note at the end, I can agree that the “10 little…” book is not inclusive. Not only in the fingers and toes but by the skin color or the ethnicity or by the type of family basis. We are not all one size fits all, my daughter loved pointing out the fun things on the pages. Well done

I absolutely loved this book! It celebrates the difference we experience as children and shows that we can grow in friendship and joy. The art style is beautiful and unique with calming colors. It’s a beautiful message presented in a beautiful and simple way.

9 Little People by Regina Feldman is a colorful book full of rhythms and beautiful illustrations. The book is simple would probably be more targeted to younger kids to help build reading skills and the diversity of families.
The attention to detail is superb in the illustrations and the colors used bring about a soothing affect and can be easily read during bedtime.
I received a eARC from NorthSouth Books through NetGalley.

Each page has a single, short sentence that goes along with the image. The illustrations contain distinct characters, and kids will enjoy finding their favorite ones as they do new things on each page. Perfect for practicing sounding out words/for very young children.
Most words are very simple, and I liked that some back-to-back pages rhymed. Was surprised at the inclusion of the word “unique,” but appreciate the book’s message.

This is so super adorable! I love the diversity and the bright colors. What an adorable message. Absolutely love it and would highly recommend. As a former preschool teacher, I'd absolutely add this to my classroom library! Excellent work!
