Loved the pictures, beautifully drawn with amazing use of colour. Loved the fact is feels like everyone is united, involved and part of a team.

I love the illustrator's style of art. It is very pretty and aesthetic. The art also had a modern feel to it which I really liked. I got the idea that the kids lived in the city and I thought that the art matched the book really well in that sense.

The writing was great. I loved how this book rhymed. I think the
rhyming will appeal to kids who read it with their family. It was also very cute how it told the story of all of the kids growing up together.

This story is about 9 kids who are born the same day. It talks about how each of the kids are unique in their own way and how that is beautiful along with their friendship. It shows what the kids do in their days and how beautiful their lives are.

I recommend this book to anyone who has kids and loves diverse books that focus on friendship and family. It is a beautiful book with wonderful art and rhymes.

A sweet illustrated story of diversity and inclusion!

I loved seeing all of the diversity between the kids and the mom as well. The illustrations are beautiful as well. The writing is very simple, easy to follow but the message of it all is big in heart.

Perfect for any library! Thank you NetGalley, NorthSouth Books and Regina Feldmann for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.

A very sweet book that showcases how every little one is different in their own way while also emphasizing the similarities between the 9 characters. The retro-ish artwork is beautiful!

The art in colors in this were so pretty. I read this with my 5 year old and almost 2 year old. They seemed to enjoy it. I thought ot was cute to show them the story of the 9 babys born at the same time to dofferent families, and cultures and how, no matter what they were able to come together and be friends. No matter the life situation. Super cute!

Omg what a sweet book with an endearing message from the author! I loved this and it reminded me so much of my mommy and me group = we spent so much time together with our little babies and it felt so right. I loved this book and want to buy it for every mom in my life. LOVE.

This is a sweet, heartwarming book parents can read to their kiddos before bedtime. It's short, simple text is probably best for kids <2 years. The best part for me were the illustrations showing diverse families. It's clear a lot of thought went into it.

This was a cute read. My two year old had me read it to him several times, so its safe to say that he loved this story. The artwork captured my attention the most. It reminded me of a lot of the books I read when I was younger.

Thank you for the ARC! Five stars from me and my little one

3.5 "super sweet and inclusive" stars !!

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and illustrator and NorthSouth books. This will be released September 2025. I am providing an honest review.

This is a sweet, affirming and inclusive book of multiculturalism, different types of families and all types of abilities. An urban utopia if you wish... lovely illustrations....for children ages 3 to 5. Fun rhyming prose and gentle illustrations.

I found this book to be super charming and my kids adored it! The rhyming cadence throughout the story made it fun and easy for me to read and for my kids to follow. The illustrations were vibrant and detailed. There was so much to look at and for my kids and I to pause and discuss each child’s scene. I really appreciated the representation throughout the book and feel this book can really help teach kids empathy, and develop an appreciation for the differences that make us all unique, special and worthy of love.

Absolutely loved this, cute children’s story about different ethnicities but all humans. Good learning experience for kids.

My child says, “ It was good. I think others should read it because there are fun parts and the slide looks like bacon.“ and then asked me how a person has 2 babies - leading to an educational moment.

It was short and sweet, great for a child. I think it was alright, but not something I’d buy or read again - although, most little children’s books I feel that same way about which I why we borrow them from the library. Lovely sentiment though and full artwork.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

This was a really cute and simple read. I would say this book was pretty simple to follow along with, so it should be perfect for even the littlest of readers. The illustrations were very charming too. What I enjoyed most about this story is that it shows that people...and their families come in all different shapes and sizes and can be very unique. Overall, this was a beautiful read with a great message.

9 Little People, written by Regina Feldmann, is a beautiful story of 9 children who were born on the same day. This rhyming storybook shows how unique but similar each family is, with a great example of diversity throughout. 9 Little People is a “celebration of joy, friendship, and the connections that last a lifetime.”
I would recommend this book to all early years settings.

This is such a sweet little gem—celebrating diverse babies living beautifully different lives, all equally loved and valued for exactly who they are. 💛

The illustrations are adorable (the tiny details had me swooning!), and it’s exactly the kind of book I love adding to my Little Free Library or gifting to a friend’s new baby. Heartfelt, inclusive, and full of love.

Big thanks to NetGalley, Regina Feldmann, and NorthSouth Books Inc. for the ARC—I truly enjoyed it! 👶🏽📚✨

This was such a cute little book. PERFECT for a bedtime story. I think the font should be larger as it is hard to read with the nightlites usually used for bedtime story. It is a story that everyone is different on the outside but we are all the same.

A beautifully illustrated picture book that I can imagine gifting to all the future little ones in my life. A reminder we are all human and living this life for the first time, highlighting the differences in people and their lives and how these differences are what can bring us together.
