I think the idea of healing from burnout is becoming increasingly important, and I see it come up often in my work as a therapist. Many people recognize when they hit their limit, try to push through, and then end up completely exhausted. This book does a good job of breaking down the science behind burnout and offers practical tools, activities, and real-life examples to help readers recover. I especially appreciated that neurodivergent experiences were thoughtfully included, rather than just being grouped in with neurotypical perspectives.
I’m giving it 4 stars for the content, but I might raise it to 5 once the final version is out, since the unedited proof sometimes had formatting issues that made it harder to read.
Thank you to the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.
