DNF at 4%, 1 chapter in. Already, the book is cheap and poorly written. The main character, Quinn, is a big complainer and irritating. We don’t know enough about the world to understand the constant complaining.

I will also not be posting this book on my socials since it was such an early DNF.

Publisher notes recommend this book for YA and teen collections. I would NOT recommend it for that level. The humor is very middle school, not that it's appropriate for that age, it just has that level of sophistication. With the book ending in the middle of the story "to be continued," the point of and motives behind the satire are unclear. Although I did like the main character, I'm not eager to venture further into this world to find out the author's view.
