This is a meticulously researched story about the end of soccer at the University of New Mexico. While it is full of research, it's also wonderful storytelling to really let the reader understand the people behind the program. This is a window into the realities of the impact of rules and regulations. It was both interesting and emotional as the last season was chronicled. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the look at this July 2025 release.
