Fans of Heartstopper, yes, this one is for you! Liam finally has to come out to his father. He realizes that sneaking around doesn't work for him so he tells his father and then moves out. Milo and Liam get a cute apartment together, but not without some drama. There's more that happens in this lovely romance, but I don't want to spoil it!
I can't put this down. It's a fantastic series and I can't wait for book three. It has a similar vibe to Heartstopper although these characters are basically adults.

I actually ended up enjoying Tripping Over You (Volume 2) more than the first, surprisingly. I felt that Milo and Liam especially had a lot of character growth this season, and I was happy to see more of Liam's dad! The art style seems to have developed a little more as well, and the dialogue seems a tad more realistic and grounded. All in all, it was a heartfelt and funny continuation, and I'll be on the look-out for the next volume of Tripping Over You!
Sidenote: I do miss Liam's long hair.

Book 2 of Tripping Over You only gets better than Book 1! I love Milo & Liam and their adventures. This book deals with real-life struggles and I love how nuanced the discussions of those topics are. The art style is fantastic as well!

This volume was truly stellar! There's a substantial amount of individual and relationship growth and it's so satisfying to see them evolve. I could read about Liam and Milo's daily lives endlessly. Their dynamic warms my heart and them maturing together is only helping strengthen their bond. The vulnerability on display, as their insecurities come out, along with their continuously improving communication shows how far they've come. They're so settled in their relationship now and it's sweet to see. I adore them very much!
The art design and color palette continue be engaging and always suit the tone of each scene.
Cannot wait for the next volume!

Interesting story and relatable for the target audience. Enjoyed the illustrations. Would definitely read more in this series. I wish I had graphic novels like this when I was a teen.

Following the story of Liam and Milo.....oh, how much fun!
It is fun to see their relationship grow as they navigate through life as a couple. I can definitely see more installments of these in the future.

Thank you to the publishers and authors for this ARC.
OKAY I read this in one sitting and I regret nothing. THEY ARE BACK AND THEY ARE YOUNG ADULTS!!! The communication and just serious topics… and the way the colors and story comes together. Highly recommend it to YA/ teens!!!

Continues the slice-of-life trend from the first book but further explores Milo and Liam's life slowly building with each other. I actually enjoyed this one more than the first because the characters are already established so we're more able to just live their lives with them so to speak.

I really loved this. It was an excellent continuation of the story from the first volume, and I like that both Milo and Liam had to work out some issues in order to be able to be happy together. I really enjoyed the process and seeing them relate to their friends and family. I also really liked the way they handled moving in together and becoming more settled in their relationship.
The art was super cute, the color palette continued to be excellent and really fit the mood of the story, and the character's faces and body language were expressive and animated. They all had great personality which made the story much more engaging.
It was just such a joy to read, after getting to know the characters in the first volume, to really get to know them.

Just like in Volume One my favorite part was the characters. The Characters in the second volume in my opinion were more fleshed out. Milo and Liam were written more realistically with the changes of graduating from high school and moving on to the next stage of their life. I loved how we got to see more of Milo’s perspective and what he thought of Liam being “ashamed” and “hiding” their relationship from Liam’s dad. I enjoyed seeing bits of both of their families and how it’s still connected to the plot and moving it on.
Regarding the plot just like in Volume one, there wasn’t a plot but more slice of life which I enjoyed but would’ve liked something more. The dialogue seemed kinda stilted but I liked how it fit the characters. Just like in Volume One the pacing was kinda off. The scenes jumped around a few times without the scene feeling like it was finished. Overall I do recommend the second volume. I loved how Milo and Liam’s relationship evolved and how they grew as people figuring out their lives. I loved seeing both new and old characters from the first volume show up. I’m looking forward to Volume three.

What a volume! There’s so much in here to unpack. Liam taking that step to speak with his father honestly about his life and how law school just isn’t for him. The stress of trying to make a relationship work with so much going on then adding the stress of moving on top of it. Merging two lives together into one household. Just. Everything about this volume was so real and made me reminisce on my early college days when I was going through similar things. I absolutely loved this volume and can’t wait for more.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A cute little graphic novel romcom featuring Milo and Liam. I haven't had the chance to read the first book of their meeting at boarding school, in what I gathered was an enemies-to-lovers story. The story was pretty easy to follow, even jumping in late to the story.
Milo and Liam are a young gay couple settling into their new relationship. At the beginning of this book, the guys live separately but spend as much of their free time together as possible. Liam has not come out to his father, whereas Milo's family knows and supports the relationship. Milo struggles a little with divorced parents and a blended family.
I feel like this would be a good story for fans of Heartbreaker. It felt like there were similar vibes.

"Tripping Over You Book 2" by Suzana Harcum and Owena White was just as cute as the first graphic novel, if not cuter. In this one we get to see Liam and Milo after they've finished school and dive into their adult lives.
Milo is pursing his dream to act, so while in school he is holding multiple jobs. Liam is living at home with his dad and trying to figure out if he really wants to be a lawyer. We watch them both navigate family dynamics as they try to figure out what the future holds not only individually but together. What we get is a cute, heartfelt exploration of the challenges young adult life can bring and also the fun sweet successes into coming into your own in adulthood.
I enjoyed this immensely, it was a sweet, feel good time.
If you enjoy queer stories, explorations of growing up, and lighthearted stories, I would pick this up! Thank you to the publisher for providing an advanced readers copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

We get to see more of this couple's growth and how they are getting closer while being farther apart. I really enjoy these two together and can't wait for the story to progress. Moving in together and starting their adult lives together is so cozy and sweet. And I really like the families!
