Hannah is no simpering woman, she's headstrong, opinionated and although she doesn't realize it beautiful.

She first sees Alexander as he competes in the caber toss at a neighboring barony, however she falls for him when he saves her from one of her overzealous suitors Niall. However when he doesn't introduce himself and walks away from her kiss, she dismisses any possibility of more.
