As always, Wanda Brunstetter gives us a wonderful and quick way to add prayer into our lives. She has a beautiful scripture reading and an explanation and way to live out the scripture.

A great devotional for every day reminders of God and for strengthening your faith. Sometimes I may need a little direction and may not know where to start. The beauty of this book is it has a simple devotional every day for you to follow. It starts with a scripture, then has a short explanation while relating it to your life and giving you guidance on how to approach the day. It ends with a little inspiration as well. For people with busy schedules, who may not be able to find time, this devotional is like the title says, 3 minutes. 3 minutes will likely be all you need in a day to read through 1 devotional. Also loved the Scripture index at the end in case there's something specific I want to find. Thank you to Net Galley, the authors and Barbour Publishing for this advanced e-copy. I am glad I found this and will incorporate it into my daily routine to connect with God.

This is honestly one of the most well-organized daily devotionals I’ve ever read. It’s simple, clear, and straight to the point, without ever feeling repetitive or surface-level. Each entry touches on real, everyday struggles—things like anxiety, discipline, self-love, forgiveness, trusting God, and more. And the best part is that everything ties back to Scripture. There’s nothing in here that feels off or out of line with the Bible, which I really appreciate.

What I love is how relatable it is. It doesn’t try to overcomplicate things it's just solid truth, gently delivered. It feels like having a calm, wise conversation every morning, with someone who actually understands what you’re going through and points you back to God in a loving way.

It’s also encouraging without being fluffy. You get reminders of God’s love, yes, but also gentle pushes to grow, to reflect, and to trust Him more even in the uncomfortable areas. And it’s laid out in a way that makes it easy to stick with, even if life gets busy.

If you’re looking for a devotional that speaks to where you’re at, keeps it real, and stays grounded in the Word, I definitely recommend this one.

I’m buying this in a pack of ten to have for birthday gifts because this book was a pure treasure. I devoured it! It was just absolutely beautiful.
