I have not read The Wren in the Holly Library yet but it just moved up to near the top of my TBR after reading this preview for The Robin on the Oak Throne! In just the first 8 chapters there's more than enough tension and adventure to let me know this book is going to be a fun ride.

I was given an ARC sneak Peek copy of The Robin on the Oak Throne by K.A. Linde, and I am super excited for the 17th to be here so I can read the rest of this story.
I am team Graves all the way.
Book 2 starts with Kierse in Paris at the Queen of the Nymphs' palace, and she is...you guessed it...stealing an invitation to get into the palace to steal a bracelet for the goblins as a way to gain access to their market for information about herself.
Graves shows up just as she is about to be caught, and he saves the day....
This duo is back together 5 months after book 1's ending, and you can feel the love from these two in the pages.
I'm eager to read what happens next. Will Kierse forgive Graves? Will they live happily ever after? Will there be a book 3?
Thank you, NetGalley, for allowing me to read this. I am now counting the days until the 17th.

Already in love with this book and cannot wait until I can read the rest! 8 chapters just wasn't enough and I need MORE!

Kierse and Graves - their relationship just sizzles.
This preview was for the first 8 chapters and when I say I *need* more, I mean it in a way that is visceral.

These first 8 chapters put me right back in the world of Wren in the Holly Library!!! I’ve been looking forward to continuing the stories of Kierse and Graves and after reading these chapters, I’m more excited than ever to get my preordered copy of Robin on the Oak Throne next week! This starts off with a high stakes theft and some tense romantic banter between Kierse and Graves and I’m in love with them all over again. I can’t wait to see how this book unfolds. KA Linde really knows how to draw you right into a story and keeps you hooked wanting more.

I am so thrilled to have read the first 8 chapters of this book, but so annoyed that I have to wait nearly a week to finish it in full.
Starting off five months after the previous book ended, Kierse is pulling off another heist, this time at Versailles. But her objective gets muddled when she finds Graves--the man she can't help but still have feelings for despite his betrayal--at the same party.
I won't get into anything further from there, but that's where we resume the story, and again, I am practically salivating at getting to finish the rest of the book once it's officially released.
Current rating (after 8 chapters): 4.75 stars (quarter star withheld purely because I can't continue immediately)
I will write a full review, which I'll try to remember to post below, when I finish the full book!

KA Linde is a treasure. Her storytelling is a gift, and I, for one, am so happy that she chooses to share it.
The story picks back up with Kierse doing what she does best, and unfortunately I have to wait for the ending, but I can say that the end of Chapter 8 leaves you hoping for the past to be put in the past. Kierse and Graves just need to be together.
I said what I said.

I hadn’t read the prequel to this, but was given a free NetGalley ARC excerpt. I loved it so much I want to find out the rest of Kierse and Grace’s story, so will definitely be reading the rest of this and the prequel ASAP. 😊 Vivid and well written, this captured my love pretty early on in the book.

Read the 2nd book because I had to find out what happened. Entertaining, not an "allnighter: and again the cover is stunning.

This sneak peek was just enough to get you back into the story but it leaves you DYING for the rest of the story. Is it release day yet???

THIS 8 CHAPTER PREVIEW GOT ME SO READY FOR THIS BOOK: I’m not even kidding. I loved the first one so much and am so excited to read the sequel!!

First 8 chapters of The Robin on the Oak Throne, second book in The Oak and Holly Cycle.
I finished reading the first book about a week ago so it was nice to get back to Kierse & Graves’s world, even for a little while. These 8 short chapters were full of action and made me want to read the rest of the book.

The first 8 chapters were AMAZING! I can’t wait to finish the book to see what happens. I am invested!! The Wren in the Holly Library was fantastic and this is set up to be an amazing follow up!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this sample!
I’m already hooked. I was so excited to continue Kierse’s story and I was hoping to see more Graves despite the end of the first book. This review did not disappoint. I’m excited for more of Kierse’s thievery and learn more about her powers. Oh! And to see how Graves hopefully mends their relationship. The heists already have me hooked and I cannot wait to finish this book once it’s officially out!

this is only a sample, such a tease 🙈 loved going back to this world with Kierse and Graves can't wait to read the rest!

Kierse tries to steal a bracelet off the queen of the nymphs in her own palace to uncover the truth about her past. Except of course she requires Graves to save her.... He requires her help against the Oak king.....
Love the fun and the romance in the story. An exciting first 8 chapters and I can't wait to read the rest of the story.
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Wowwwww weekend this preview has me so excited for the rest of the book! I Just know this one is gonna be just as good, if not better, than the first! 😭

What a preview!!! I love the dynamic of Graves and Kierse. We are back at it again with these two; flawed and damaged main characters that walk the line of wanting to try and open up to one another but hesitating. That tension from the first book continues with another epic heist in tow. I am so excited to jump into the book! You have paranormal romance set in modern day, a thief, and a handsome, broody warlock. What more could you ask for?! This is going to be another sensational release from KA Linde, and I am all for it!

Getting this preview has me so excited for the rest of the book! I need this book to release as soon as possible!
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for allowing me to read the preview for this book!

Adventure? Check. Magic? Check. Slow burn romantic tension? Double check. The Robin in the Oak throne is angsty, fast-paced, and gripping, all while hinting at emotional details that will be a strong theme in the story.
I devoured the first eight chapters of this book so fast that I can't wait for this to arrive for me to continue! This new story has everything I loved from The Wren in the Holly Library, and then some. Linde wastes no time in getting the story started and provides only necessary details as a recap of book one, which was chef's kiss (I'm never a fan of drawn-out recaps). Readers already learn of new characters, and a main storyline has been outlined, leaving me very excited for what will come. Our new characters seem so dynamic; I can't wait to see how our characters from book one are doing and how they've grown.
Thank you, Entangled Publishing, Red Tower Books, and Netgalley, for the ARC preview. This honest review has been left voluntarily and will be updated with a full review when available.
