What a way to start out! I am so excited for the publication of this book and to continue this story! I love the tension between Graves and Kierse!

I didn’t realize this was the second book in this series, but this was intriguing enough for me to want to go back and start the series.
Looks like it’s set in real places, but there’s all types of magical creatures. I’m not sure how the first books ends, but this one starts with Kierse at a party looking to retrieve something.
The thing that caught my attention most was Kierse’s relationship with Graves. I’m dying to know more about them together.

What a preview!! I cannot wait for this book to come out! I devoured the first 8 chapters in like 20 minutes. I have questions that need answers!! 😍😍

LOVED this preview (and the first book) and look forward to reading the rest! I don't know if I want Graves to be endgame or if I want her to find something else...... either way I look forward to seeing where it goes (and uncovering new depth to the world).

Oh my gosh, what a tease this was! I was kicking and giggling the entire 8 chapters. I CAN’T wait to read the rest next week!!

Wow wow wow! I can't wait to read this book! I'm on pins and needles and it can't get here soon enough!

I got to read the first 8 chapters as a preview and I’m HOOKED. Kierse, who is a master thief, and also so happens to be the last of her ancient fae race as will-o-the-wisp, finds herself in Paris on another thieving adventure. On her most recent job. she runs into her past love and employer, a Warlock named Graves, and he’s got an even bigger task for her to find another Celtic myth object: The Cauldron.
Omg these chapters!!!!! Only 8 chapters and we’ve got “my wife”, magic, Paris, ONE BED, and pining. I’m dead. I need more. Release date can’t come soon enough.
Thanks to Entangled and NetGalley for letting me preview the book!

I can not wait for this book to come out. I loved the first one. The first 8 chapters of this one is not enough to keep me satisfied. I may need to go back and reread the first one just to tied me over.

Thank you, Entangled Publishing and Netgalley, for the preview of the first eight chapters of The Robin on the Oak Throne. I was immediately immersed back in this world following Kierse through another heist. We are also introduced to another very familiar character almost immediately in these first few chapters. I was immediately hooked, and we already had a "my wife" and "one-bed trope" happen in eight chapters! This preview was perfect and excited me even more for the release of The Robin on the Oak Throne! You will not want to miss this book release, and I can't wait to read the rest on June 17th!

This preview was enough to hook me and to convince me to go back and read The Wren in the Holly Library! I love the writing style. I can't wait to see how this book ends!

I *ALMOST* wish I i would not have requested this preview because I now having to wait the next ten days for the rest of the book to come out is going to be that much harder. I still can't believe I waited a year after a Wrenn in the Holly Library was published before reading it because I certainly won't be waiting as long this time. I already need to know that happens next. I love how Graves keeps introducing her as his wife it seems like it is not just as part of his schemes to get the cauldron but that he actually intends to make it happen. We will see.

Now I really need the full book — this preview was just enough to hook me and leave me hanging in the best (and most frustrating) way.Even just from these first 8 chapters, I can already tell this one's going to be intense. The world feels rich and layered, and I love how quickly we're thrown back into the drama and danger. K.A. Linde always knows how to deliver twists and tension right out of the gate, and this was no exception.

I’ve been waiting for this book to come out since I finished the first book. This sneak peek did not disappoint. Well, the only problem is that now I need to wait for the book to fully come out so I can finish reading the story.

I read the preview of the sequel and I need the rest now. Only 8 chapters and I'm already blown away. The dynamic between Kierse and Graves is even more intense, and you can’t really tell what Graves is up to, but it makes it all more exciting. Kierse is still sarcastic and relatable, and the banter is still top level. There’s some fun twists already. The writing is simple and fast to read, which I like. Loved book one, but this one already feels like it’s leveling up. Can’t wait for the full release. Thank you so much to the author and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving a honest review

Last month I read "The Wren in the Holly Library" and I fell in love with the story and characters.
I'm glad that I could read the first 8 chapters of the sequel, but this only made me want to read the rest immediately (especially because of the end of chapter 8).
Kierse and Graves have such great interactions.
There is so much tension between them and Graves is making is hard for Kierse to stay away.
She is not over his betrayal, but they have to work together again.
Just from this preview I know that I'll love the book and I'm looking forward to getting my preorder.
If you did not read "The Wren in the Holly Library" yet please do it, especially if you like magic, secrets, heists and enemies-to lovers.

What a fantastic preview into the next book in the series! I am so excited for this book and can't wait to read the full book!!

Ahhh yes!! I am so excited for this one and I can’t wait to get to read the rest of it, I’m loving what we were able to read so far in this preview!

So excited to get a glimpse of what’s coming in the sequel—I’ve been waiting for this. Getting to see more of the magical world beyond New York was so great, and now I’m even more intrigued by what’s next!Especially with the whole Graves and Kierse situation (because… what is going on there??).
The writing is still super easy, which I love. Some of the sentences felt a little choppy to me here and there, but honestly it didn’t take away from the story—it feels consistent with the tone and flow of book one. I’m just really hyped to see where the characters go next and how Kierse grows into her powers.
Big thanks to NetGalley for the eARC—bring on the full book please 🙏✨

Thank you @netgalley and @entangled_publishing for this preview… you little teases!
I cannot wait to get my hands on this book to finish it! It was so hard to stop at chapter 8.

Arghh why can’t this be the full book? I loved the first one and I’m really excited to read this part of the story because I have questions that need answers
