I received a teaser ARC of The Robin on the Oak Throne from the publisher from only getting a glimpse, I’m intrigued.

The magic system is intriguing, the characters are very well thought out and complete. Robin is my favorite, there is tension within the story from characters and I AM HERE FOR IT.

The world building was my favorite thing so far, its from the very beginning and feels amazing, the stakes in the book are personal which makes you keep flipping pages for the "just one more chapter" kind of feeling.

Even with just the first eight chapters, I am gripped, and will buying the full book at my local bookstore.

Kierse and Graves are back!

The tension! The banter! It's all as perfect as it was in Wren in the Holly Library! The world and timeline that K.A Linde has created is so incredibly fascinating. I adore the in depth merging of Celtic mythology with the modern day timeframe. I can't wait to continue reading the rest of the book now that I have the full thing in hand!

Thank you to Entangled Publishing and K.A.Linde for the opportunity to advance read the first 8 chapters of point of my most anticipated books for 2025!

The books is everything and no one can tell me otherwise. One of the most anticipated books of the year in my opinion. K.A. Linde does it again, the way I am able to just immerse myself into this world.

I am so excited for the rest of this book. I pre-ordered it and it should be arriving today. Of course, I had to try and get a little, sneak peek of it and gosh that not disappointed. I was completely obsessed with the first one and this one is so far living up to my expectations, I cannot wait to read the rest of it!

The Robin and the Oak is a steamy, action-paced romantasy that drops you back into a world of magic, monsters, and political intrigues. Kierse and Graves’ enemies-to-lovers chemistry is a highlight, giving plenty of sparks alongside high stakes and supernatural twist-and-turns. While it’s a sequel and best read after The Wren in the Holly Library, this story stands out with its passionate romance and fast-moving plot. It’s perfect for fans of addictive fantasy romance..

The Robin on the Oak Throne is a beautifully written, slow-burn fantasy that blends court intrigue, quiet rebellion, and emotional depth. K.A. Linde takes her time crafting both the world and the tension, resulting in a story that feels both intimate and expansive.
The preview of the book was addicting and I was immediately hooked. Thank goodness the full book is out now, because I needed to keep going. The only problem? I already know I’m going to need book 3 ASAP.

Many thanks Entangled: Red Tower Books for the preview. Will definitely be binging this book and I look forward to the next installment.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 out of 5 stars
I received a teaser of The Robin on the Oak Throne from the NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

This is book two in a series, and I haven’t read the first book, so this review is based on the first 8 chapters of the second, from someone who has only just discovered this series.

First off, the book jumps right into it no slow, baby-step build-up, and thankfully no long-winded info dump that would have bored me if I’d been hit with a wall of facts from the previous book. Even without reading The Wren in the Holly Library, the opening eight chapters felt snappy and clear. No confusion, just solid storytelling. The author smoothly eases you in, giving just enough backstory without overwhelming you—which is perfect when you’re coming in fresh. (I’ll definitely be reading this series now—I have to!)

Right away, I felt the sass and witty banter, and it was fantastic! I just wanted more... eight chapters were not enough. I wanted so much more. So yes, book one and book two are now sitting on my shopping list waiting for me to hit “buy.” the moment book 2 is out.

When I say I loved this book that doesn't even begin to describe it. It took over my mind for days and I still can't get the betrayal (or that ending) out of my mind.
I devoured this book in two days. It's amazing, a masterclass in creating a story that will keep a reader enthralled, and it had me falling off of my couch at the end of that last line. Now, I promised I wouldn't give out any spoilers, and I won't, but let me just say everything you think you know going into this book… well, things may not always end up
how you think they will or want them to.
Going into this right after re-reading The Wren In The Holly, I still wasn't prepared for the backstabbing and betrayal, and oh, there's so much betrayal but also the
feeling of family, the adventure, and enough spice to keep you warm on a cold New York night. Now, let's talk about the ending for just a moment; I know this is supposed to be a duology, but dare I hope for more in this world? As shattered as my brain and
heart are at the moment I want more, so so so much more, and maybe some merch, but that's just my book-loving self hoping.

I'm so excited about this book!
I enjoyed reading Wren and the Holly Library and have been waiting for The Robin on the oak throne for a while now

I absolutely devoured the first eight chapters of The Robin on the Oak Throne!

The pacing is excellent, maintaining a constant stream of action that kept me invested. The opening sequence of our little Wren attempting to steal a bracelet from a magical queen, only to have Graves show up and save her (against her will) had me rooting for more.

The tension between the FMC and Graves was palpable, making me question what was going to happen next. I am still reeling from Graves betrayal at the end of book one, but I’m heavily invested in a redemption arc for his character.

If this snippet is a taste of what is to come, this will be an easy five star read for me!

I loved every word of these eight chapters. But I'm a bit...stupid, and I read them thinking this was, like, part one???. When I went to log it to Goodreads, I was confusing for about ten minutes until I realized this was part two. LOL. Anyway, I'm writing this review while running to my nearest bookstore to buy the first one because I'm obsessed with what I read and I want more. But like, totally obsessed.

The Robin and the Oak Throne Honest ARC Review:

4.5 ⭐️
Kierse McKenna planned to steal a goblin made bracelet from the Queen of the Nymphs. Kierse’s power increased with each theft, driving her to a career of thieving. What kierse did not anticipate was running into Graves.

Smoking hot chemistry and a power struggle lead tension between Graves and Kierse to remain high as the two navigate the world where monsters and royalty collide.

This was interesting and entertaining and I look forward to reading more! A Robin in The Oak Throne is definitely one to add to your TBR!

Thank you so much for sharing this ARC with me!
