Twisted and compulsively listenable, this thriller continues the dark saga of the infamous housemaid. McFadden knows how to keep you guessing until the very last second.

McFadden's books are so popular here! This is a nice, short story that bridges the gap between book one and two. Recommended.

This was a good novella. It left me NEEDING more. I cant wait to dive into book 3. I love the narrators for this series. I cant wait for the movie! Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape for the ALC

This is short and interesting audiobook. I love the narration. I loved the ending! Sorry this is a short review for a short book.

Our girl is back for her wedding day! Millie is pregnant so she and Enzo are just doing something small at the courthouse, but she is still trying to make sure everything is perfect. What is NOT perfect is the threatening phone calls she keeps receiving from an unknown number. While she knows it is someone's ex-husband who she helped a client escape from, she is not sure which man it is. What she does know is that she is trying to keep Enzo from finding out.
This was a quick fun listen, but it didn’t really feel like a thriller. One part gave me a little bit of anxiety, but it really was just a little easy to listen to short story.
Audio was good.

The day of their wedding had finally arrived. Millie was almost ready to marry Enzo, make her parents proud, and then become a happy little family with the arrival of their child. As one thing after another started to threaten the day and her life, Millie feared the day would not end as she had hoped.
2.5- As far as a brief story in between others, it was very short and easy to read. The whole point of the story is not necessary to bring together the others book. It just shows the day, with some of the complications that she kind of brings on herself because of what she does. It is short and kind of sweet, but not at all needed in the Housemaid series.
Thank you NetGalley for this reviewer copy.

I recently got into this author's books. This short read will have you guessing what will happen next. Getting married is a special day for couples. But when you're trying to remember the superstitions that have been carried down generation after generation, you stress yourself out. Threatening phone calls on your special day, your dress won't fit, and you're going to see people you haven't had contact with for over a decade haven't helped either. Will the wedding happen or will someone follow through on their threat? Read this page turning story to find out.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audiobook ARC of The Housemaid's Wedding. This book was completely unnecessary and nothing much happens, but we do get to see the wedding, so if you liked the rest of the series, it can't hurt to check this out. Finished in about 30 minutes

A quick, bingeable thriller that feels like a bonus episode you didn’t know you needed—short, twisty, and a little chaotic. Is it groundbreaking? No. But if you're already invested in Millie and Enzo, it’s a fun little treat to see their story continue.
Their dynamic is still the highlight for me—watching their relationship evolve over the course of the series is honestly what keeps me coming back. And as someone who’s read from the beginning, I was delighted to be invited to their wedding… even if it came with a few plot twists.
There’s potential for something deeper here, but it doesn’t quite go there. If you’re expecting a full-blown thriller or a meaty mystery, you might walk away feeling underwhelmed. But if you catch it on sale or already have it through Kindle Unlimited, it’s a fun (and fast) read that’s worth the hour.

Thank you for this arc. I was excited to listen to another book in The Housemaid series. This story left me wanting more thrills and twists. Looking forward to reading another full-length Freida McFadden story.

This story starts out really strong then slacks up a bit. But it is enjoyable and a quick read! So, if you are a fan of the Housemaid series, you need to add this to your list!

I can still remember when I first read The Housemaid. I was blown away by just how twisted the characters/story was. I absolutely loved it. So I was thrilled when the series continued. Now as for The Housemaid’s Wedding, it’s kind of a curveball in relation to the other books in the series. It’s not really a thriller and it’s honestly unnecessary, and yet that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoyed it because I did. It kind of feels like a behind the scene or a DVD extra or a thank you McFadden has gifted to fans of the series. It’s short, a single sitting read or in this case listen, and Edoardo Ballerini and Lauryn Allman (who also narrates the rest of the series) deliver solid performances. Like I said, it’s kind of unnecessary and yet I’m sure many fans of the series will enjoy the story. I’d like to thank Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to and review an audio ARC of The Housemaid’s Wedding.

Enzo is the husband you hope you get in life, so in love goes above and beyond, and is all about her! The end was perfect, I just love Frieda, she will always be a favorite.

Audio book review - a limited story and curtailed too soon. Appreciate that it is a short story but left me wanting more extensive detail

A short story designed to be read between Housemaid books 2 & 3, this brief but suspenseful tale takes on one of the biggest day’s of Millie’s life. She’s survived prison & murderers, but getting down the aisle might be her biggest challenge yet. Hours before she’s set to say “I do,” she starts receiving mysterious threatening phone calls from a sinister sounding man, detailing the death planned for her.
While I devoured the first two books of the Housemaid series, this short story felt bland and unnecessary. It didn’t have any of the high drama of the main novels and could’ve been fine with just writing their nuptials briefly into the novels.
Lauryn Allman and Edoardo Ballerini did a great job however with narrating their roles in the story.
Thank you to Dreamscape Select for the advanced audiobook copy in exchange for my honest review.

Well, not Frieda's finest work but I did enjoy the short story to bridge the gap between books. Would recommend this short read.

I'm a fan of McFadden's work, but have not made my way through the Housemaid series yet.
This is a good stand-alone novella, and/or helps provide some character development/context if you read the series.
Not as suspenseful as I was hoping, but still worth a listen.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for access to this audiobook.

I’ve not read The Housemaid series, so I went into this as a standalone novella. As a short story, the narrative works. There is the usual paranoia for a McFadden narrative. Millie and Enzo wake on their wedding day to Millie’s phone ringing; a man threatens to slice her throat. Millie hides this information from Enzo because they are getting married at the courthouse in less than 4 hours. Will Millie survive the day? Will the couple enjoy a happy ever after? Find out.
Thank you #NetGalley, #Dreamscape Select, and #FreidaMcFadden for my ALC. This review is my honest opinion.
The narrators were wonderful! I appreciate the banter between them. This is a quick listen as the book is under 100 pages.

I’d already read the book, I find listening to Freida McFadden’s audiobooks after having read the books to be very rewarding. There’s always plenty of detail that you miss first time around.
While this is a short story or bonus scene to The Housemaid trilogy it packs plenty in, the characters (Millie, adorable as a nervous bride-to-be), their relationship, some humor, some tension and some action.
Main narrator Lauryn Allman is superb, reprising her role from the other Housemaid audiobooks.
It’s a short story, about 90 minutes listening time, chronologically it takes place between The Housemaid’s Secret and The Housemaid Is Watching. It works whether or not you’ve already read or listened to The Housemaid Is Watching, and there is some clever, subtle foreshadowing.
Millie, The Housemaid, one of the best loved and most popular thriller characters in recent years is getting married, it’s supposed to be the happiest day of her life, but someone’s out to get her.
It’s a short story, but Freida packs a lot in, it fills in an event we wanted to read about. If you haven’t read The Housemaid Is Watching yet then this bridges the gap beautifully.
At 90 minutes it’s just enough to stop the shakes, to ease the withdrawal, to scratch the itch while waiting for The Intruder… it will remind you how much you love Millie and leave you longing for more.
It’s already been an Amazon #1 bestseller in paperback, and is an essential addition to The Housemaid trilogy.
Thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Select

I got an ALC of this audio book & I really liked both of the narrators!
However, I think I just didn’t understand the point of this book. I like Millie and Enzo and I thought the wedding was cute. But the threat was weird and the parent situation was weird. And I know she’s like slightly insecure so it made me sad when she was finally getting married and she’s just thinking about how Enzo only asked once she got pregnant.
I mean, obviously it’s Frieda McFadden and it’s short but I was still hoping for like something good to happen to Millie between the threats of death lol.
