This is the collection of issues 1-4 of TMNT x Naruto.

This is a fever dream of ninja loving comic readers. The Ninja Turtles meet up with Team 7 in a cross over I never saw coming. The mash up of both worlds was done with liberties. NYC is now the Big Apple Village, in a merger of the TMNT NYC we all know and the Villages of the Naruto Universe.
You'll notice changes in the verbiage more so on the Naruto side, the first one that got me was that "Shadow clone jitsu" is "Art of the Doppelgänger " , then it continued from there. I'm assuming that there had to be changes due to copy writing , however it would have almost been better to omit them calling out their jitsu moves vs changing them completely.

The teams start off fighting each other due to a misunderstanding and April lets it happen for footage vs stopping them to explain, and that's not super in Aprils normal character either. Finally Kakashi talks to Splinter, mistaking him for an old master he knows, however, Kakashi wouldn't mistake a Rat for a person so that seemed off as well. I can keep going on how the characters are just a tad to much off kilter , but it would be me nit picking.

The Plot itself fell a little flat for me. I wanted to go into it knowing its not a cannon cross over, but thinking it would be a cool story maybe ending with some weird Sharingan training or something Kakashi was doing to mess with Team 7. However, it felt more like a fan service.

In all honesty, if this was just cross over art , it would have been very cool.

I REALLY wanted to enjoy this, however It fell sort for me. That being said if you are someone who hasn't really read or watched either Naruto or TMNT, it could be an enjoyable story.

Thank you NetGalley and IDW Publishing for the Digital ARC for review.

Not entirely sure about this one, nor its star rating. Coming down in the fence. I have read more turtle stories, and on that basis not sure about the tie up with another massive series of equally well published characters. Both sets seem to vie for attention. This definitely falls on the fun side of these turtle genre offerings. Enough to entertain, but I really need the whole series to really decide - hit (definitely lots of that) or miss (lots of that too, but for the baddies only a temporary reprieve). The cartoon, smile filled, action bursts out of the page at you. Thank you to IDW publishing and NetGalley for the comic ARC. The views expressed are all mine freely given.

A zany comedic graphic novel that was everything it set out to be and more.

While I thought it would have been too over the top and zany. It was the perfect blend of both franchises that fit in well together

OMG, I never imagined having Naruto and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the same space, but what a surprise! Both teams are super lovable, but to be honest, seeing Team 7 again totally got me in the feels (insert emotional tears here). 🥲🍥

The action scenes were really cool, and while there were a few things that didn’t completely worked for me, I get it (I mean, it’s a crossover, so...), and in the end, they did just enough to make it feel coherent and believable, well, as believable as a fantasy crossover can get.

Oh, and huge thanks to NetGalley and IDW Publishing for the e-arc! :)

It was fun and I had an enjoyable time while reading it and while that's usually the point of these crossovers, it ultimately didn't do much for me as a story. I don't claim to be a big expert on the Naruto cannon the way I am on the TMNT, so perhaps there is a disconnect there that could have hampered my reading. Nevertheless, I'm always down for an amusing tale.

Special Thanks to IDW Publishing and Netgalley for the digital ARC. This was given to me for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this crossover!
The humor, the nostalgia and the adventures were top-tier for me.

I had my son read this he loves naruto comic books and he was thrilled when ninja turtles collab with naruto issue was being made so i had to apply we read them together. This was such a fun and nostalgic read with a fresh twist! The crossover between Naruto and TMNT worked surprisingly well the teams felt like perfect reflections of each other. It didn’t feel overdone or stretched out just for the sake of the fandoms. If you're a fan of Naruto, TMNT, or both, this is definitely a must-read Thank you IDW and NetGalley for the ARC

Thank you IDW and NetGalley for the ARC. I loved these shows and have watched a ton of these, and loved the Aaron TMNT comics so was excited to see TMNT and Naruto crossover. It’s definitely packed with potential, but unfortunately, it doesn’t fully deliver for me. The idea of blending two iconic ninja franchises is undeniably fun—seeing the Turtles interact with Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi is the clear highlight. There are a few entertaining scenes, including some playful banter and action beats that fans of both series will appreciate.

However, the execution falls short for me. The story is thin and lacks real stakes, relying more on the novelty of the crossover than on meaningful plot or character development. The dialogue feels surface-level, and neither side of the crossover gets enough depth to make the team-up feel earned. We’ve seen and know the Splinter origin well…

Visually, the art is a mixed bag. While some panels capture the energy of both worlds, many feel overly processed or blurry, which dulls the impact of key moments. They even say April is struggling to capture it they are moving too fast, so I think it’s on purpose, but it is throughout, it looks rushed in places, and the lack of detail undercuts the excitement the concept promises and pulls me out of the story as a distraction.

Overall, it’s a decent bit of fan-service with a few fun moments, but it feels more like a missed opportunity than a must-read. A fine read for hardcore fans, but not a standout for either franchise.

Excuse me. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine two of my favorites would be combined like this. This was such a fun read and I loved seeing all of the characters interact. Naruto being introduced to pizza is just amazing.

Thanks so much for this arc!

Thank you NetGalley and IDW Publishing for the ARC!

The plot wasn't anything amazing per say, the standard Shredder story we know with Naruto slapped on it. It was still pretty fun to see the characters interact, and were close to their original counterparts. The art was AMAZING and the visuals were stunning. I wish we had gotten to see a bit more of the Naruto universe being involved in the book aside from just the main Team 7 cast, but hopefully in another volume it's more developed if they plan to make a continuation, since this seems to have concluded at a good spot.

As a huge Naruto fan, this filled my heart!

The paring of Team 7 and the turtles during battles was perfect! And opening Narutos eyes to pizza was diabolical, in the best way.

This was the perfect crossover!

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for providing the earc in exchange of an honest review

This was such a fun action packed read, the story is nothing special but the art is incredible and it's a really enjoyable comic. I loved seeing how the two teams of ninjas interacted and how the lores intersected.

This was such a fun read! It gave so much nostalgia with a twist of something new and different! But it worked so well. I like how the teams pair together and they were like reflections of each other. It wasn't drawn out or added too much to it just because it's about naruto and tmnt. This is a must read if you like naruto and/or tmnt!
