A Rowboat to Ruin – Kathleen Ayers
SO CUTE! Short but a very satisfying read and we get a quick glimpse of one of my favorite characters, Duke of Ware. Happenstance brings two very different people together in a meet cute scene. I enjoyed reading Finley and Annalise’s story, I wanted more of their back and forth.

Duke’s Like This - Bronwen Evans
Loved this short story of class differences. It was sweet, kind and full of ocean antics. I could have read a lot more of Caitra and Alexander.

Lessons in Resisting a Rake – Tracy Sumner
Second chance, my total jam. This short novella started out strong and got stronger as the story went along. How could you not root for Dorian and Juliet? Attraction never lies. The beginning of a new series, Rookery Rebels, and I can tell I am going to want to gobble up each story if this is the beginning of the series.

I was very much looking forward to this anthology! It's summer themed which is fun, plus look at the cover! So dreamy.

I haven't read all of them yet (this is about 1,000 pages!) but the ones I have have been delightful. This has a plethora of different tropes and settings that the reader is never bored. For example my personal go-to tropes in here are enemies to lovers and grumpy sunshine. Plus these are all either short stories or novellas so they can be consumed at the reader's pace. And this book will last all summer long due to its length haha.

I happened to really enjoy Emily E.K. Murdoch and Mary Lancaster's stories so far.

If you want a summer treat in the shape of a Duke, grab this anthology!
